However she started to develop two large oozing bump on her shoulder and neck and she kept getting blah. Well she is now on some antibiotics, fluids and injection not to mention those bumps where TWO BOTS FLIES that were growing in her flesh. PICS TO COME. But just in one day she has bounced back explores more and seems to be so happy and thankful to be feeling better. The combination of fighting the fleas she came with plus other parasite critters really affected her but she's feeling much better. Anyone wishing to help & pitch in to cover the bill can paypal, chime or zelle would be greatly appreciated. It was not an office that we use but she was very lethargic and in need of help and had to use my money and also apply for care credit to cover the bill. Valkyrie is a gorgeous, 2-year-old female calico cat that is looking for her full-time lap to sit on. Val has been raised in a home in the south Texas area where unfortunately, her owner can no longer keep her. She has been raised since a kitten, therefore she is very outgoing. As you can see from the video, she absolutely loves her pets and will sit there for as long as you pet her, which can be all day. Val has been raised around other cats, dogs and older children. She would do wonderfully with young children though, she’s just that friendly. One of Val’s quirks is that she LOVES to talk to you and will talk loudly to you. She will tell you all about her night, her day, the birds outside and how fast the grass grew that day. She is loud, proud and will keep you laughing. Val is such a good girl and will adjust to most households just fine. She is a very relaxed cat that just loves to love. A cat tree, your hand, and a couch are all her heart desires (as well as food!) Valkyrie is fixed, current on vaccinations, current on flea prevention, and microchipped. Sassy is a beautiful calico cat who is around 1.5-2 years old. This sweet girl hasn’t had the easiest life. Prior to our rescue taking her in, she was with another rescue who adopts out of Petco and Petsmart, where she was sent. Being in a glass box was not for Sassy. Being poked, prodded and stared at every day for hours upon hours turned her from a very loving cat to a very scared and withdrawn one. This is when the rescue decided to surrender her to us where we could safely put her in a foster home. She has been in the foster home for about 5 weeks and has come out of her shell and learned she’s safe once again. No more glass boxes for her. The foster says this about her: Friendly Vocal – Loves to talk to you Loves to explore and roam around Loves cat trees Learning to love what toys are again Gets along with other cats, but prefers her own space Would do fine with older children, ideally no young ones for Sassy Dogs would be fine with slow introductions (refer to picture with dog in the background) Wonderful lap cat Very Entertaining Inside Only Sassy is a more calm cat that loves to lay around and just hang out. She likes to do what she wants, when she wants, which is typical for a calico. Sassy is spayed, FIV/ FLV Tested negative, current on vaccinations, microchipped, will be seen by a vet and given a clean bill of health prior to adoption. We welcomed our cat into our home when he was just two weeks old, a sweet gift from a family friend in December 2017. Now, we're are looking for a loving home where he can continue to be cared for and cherished. He's a gentle and shy soul - a bit of a scaredy cat at first - but with time and patience, he warms up and becomes affectionate. Once he trusts you, he'll happily accept pets, treats, and grooming sessions. While he's not the biggest fan of vet visits (who is?), he handles them well and stays calm for his vaccinations. If you're someone who can offer him a calm, caring environment and the love he deserves, he'll make a wonderful and loyal companion. (P.S I do have some stuff to give that can last him a few weeks + month before you have to buy anything like food, a bed, litter.)
