Story
Eleanor came to HHR as a stray from a rough neighborhood known for being a dumping ground for unwanted cats. We attempted to find an owner but she was never reclaimed. Eleanor gets along fine with other cats and would be a perfect first time/family kitty. Eleanor is about a 2-3 years old. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative. To meet her, please visit our website www.HalfwayHomeRescue.org and submit an application. Adoption donation $250.

Story
Miley was born June 7, 2020. She’s such a sweet, calm girlie. She can be playful, but she’s a bit serious most of the time. I’m looking for a loving forever home for Miley. Somewhere clean, with a family that will show affection, but also give her the space a princess like her needs.

Story
Meet Taylor — the shy sweetheart of our Summer I Turned Pretty litter! 💕 This gorgeous three-month-old calico is not only stunning but also a polydactyl girl, meaning she has extra toes that make her paws look like adorable little mittens. Taylor was rescued in Bridgeport alongside her siblings — Jeremiah, Conrad, and Isabel — and she has been blossoming in her foster home. Taylor is a playful and curious little girl who loves to chase toys and wrestle with her kitty friends. She absolutely adores other cats and would be happiest in a home with a feline companion to help boost her confidence. If you’re looking to adopt two, she is especially close to her foster brother, Jeremiah (orange & white), the other last kitten remaining. While she can be a bit skittish if you approach her too quickly, Taylor has a soft and tender heart — walk toward her gently while she’s cozy in her cat bed, and she’ll roll right over for sweet belly rubs. She’s the perfect blend of timid charm and playful sparkle — a girl who just needs a little patience to shine her brightest. Taylor’s adoption fee is $250 and she is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, and will be microchipped and spayed soon. If you're interested in this cutie, please fill out an application at https://form.jotform.com/201805462692153. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Story
Our fosters are have so many kittens are now big enough to be adopted. They are anywhere from 8 to 10 wks old so ALL are TOO SMALL TO GO as SOLO pets to a home UNLESS u already have a young cat in your home - so have to be paired up. They are absolutely the sweetest and simply some of the cutest and prettiest kitties ever! Pumpkin, Cinnamon, Cider, Apple, Spice, Caramel - what's more wonderful than Fall and all it's wonders? well Fall inspired 10-12 wk kittens who even match with their fur! these sweethearts are so cuddly and warm and wonderful that u will have the BEST of fall for the rest of your life with these babies in your life - All fixed and ready to go Albert, Alvin, Adam, Ally, and Annie - teeny weeny 8 wk old treasures - raised all their lives in foster! super friendly and precious - may be too small to alter at time of adoption but we are hoping for them to make weight this week! Harry Herbie Hazel (8-10w) and their bffs Chili and Jax (10-12w) - these cuties are fun fun FUN! From tiny to chonky, they are an array of colors and fur types but ALL are the sweetest of sweet. Chili and Jax are almost ready to be solo but right now they are still really in need of a buddy cat like the tinier ones. All adore kids and dogs too! These babies were all fostered in a wonderful home after they were abandoned in KY at a high kill shelter and then cared for by our incredible NY and KY foster teams! They are all friendly and fun and great for any family - they seem fine with kids and should be fine with other gentle cats and with a gentle dog. They are incredibly affectionate, super snuggly, and simply the most purrfect kitties! Again ALL of these babies are TOO SMALL to go solo so u must have another young cat in the home or adopt in pairs. All kittens no matter what age, do not grow up with the best behaviors without another cat to help them esp during their tween months. ADOPTERS UNDER THE AGE OF 23 MUST HAVE A PARENT OR GUARDIAN APPLY We do NOT test for hypoallergenic qualities or exact breeds as we are a rescue so also please do not ask! If you are allergic, then prepare for 20 yrs of an allergy if the cat you adopt causes issues... If you want to apply - please go to https://rnrpets.org/cat-application/ to be approved. If you have additional questions please contact us via email at rocknrescue1@gmail.com. They are all fully vetted spayed neutered per age and vaccinated tested FIV FELV neg had preventatives and microchipped. And ready for love! They are also available to adopters from out of state in the Northeast and is located here in Bedford Hills NY! Long distance adopters must pick up here sorry no shipping or delivering!

Story
"Sugar Oh, honey, honeyYou are my candy girl And you got me wanting you"  Sweet as The Archie's most famous song, meet Betty Cooper (you do want her!) - the striking tabico girl next door! Clearly Archie's favorite, Betty is as darling as her namesake; sweet & pretty, an absolute love bug ready to cuddle right up next to you on the couch. Betty is as resilient as she is sweet, surviving outside as they did. And, Betty was never one to turn down solving a mystery, so let's help her solve the mystery of finding her forever family. She'll follow the clues right to her new home, so let's help her out and fill out an application! Betty needs to be with a young, playful cat (perhaps her brother or sister? ...both?) and would do well with respectful children. Betty really was the girl next door, living life as a stray in a backyard.  Along with her brother, Archie, and sister, Veronica, Betty was saved by a student who asked her teacher (who happened to be a trapper friend of ours!) for help and is now safe inside in foster care! You can see more pictures and videos of our fosters on our facebook page:  Sophia L'Orange Kitten Rescue All of our adoptable animals are cared for and assessed in foster homes (we do not have a shelter), up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV, before they are adopted. They have had de-worming medication as a standard of care and Flea/Tick/Ear Mite preventive treatment. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet. ##2566479##
