This is baby Cookie, she was found on the side of the road on the second of September. Unfortunately, we are not able keep her as we are moving out of state in late October. She is very loving, energetic, snuggly, and has been very polite around the other cats in the home. We believe she is around 6 weeks old, but we are not 100% sure. Penny’s story is anything but ordinary. She first came into our lives as a dedicated mom, sneaking away from her kittens once a day to visit our porch for a quick meal before rushing back to care for her babies. Over the past year, Penny has come to know and trust us, eventually deciding to stick around. When it became clear she was ready for what we believe might be her third litter, we brought her inside to an empty room in our home. Here, she could give birth in a warm, protected, and comfortable environment. The moment she stepped inside, Penny showed us she was meant to be indoors. She immediately got comfortable, used the litter box neatly, and didn't even fuss to go back outside where she had been living for so long. A week later, Penny gave birth to three healthy kittens, and she has been a devoted mother ever since. Her sweet and gentle nature, combined with her resilience in surviving the outdoors and raising her babies, makes her deserving of a loving indoor home. Penny is ready to give and receive love in a forever home where she can be safe and cherished. Penny is estimated to be 2-3 years old. She's one of the kitties that does little quirky things when she thinks you're not looking, like dropping random objects into our kitten room water bowl. I can tell she is very intelligent by her eye contact and adorable head tilts. However, she is still shy and will need someone patient and willing to wait for her to come out of her shell. She was rescued as a feral kitten so she has more of her natural cat instincts than our bottle baby rescues. Like most true feral cats she is super quiet and mostly keeps to herself or snuggles with her sister. One of her favorite actives is to sit on the top of the cat tower and study the world around her. However, when I ask her if she's hungry she perks up and heads on over to her food bowl. Like most true feral cats she is super quiet and mostly keeps to herself or snuggles with her sister. One of her favorite actives is to sit on the top of the cat tower and study the world around her. I am still working with her to get her to open up. Betsy Ross, is a loyal and brave companion who will always have your back in any adventure! She is very clever and loves to figure out puzzles and challenges. She is a such snuggle bug and prefers to sleep in bed next to her person under neath the covers. She will dig and wiggle around until she finds the perfect comfy spot. She's a little bit mischievous and has a hint of sass, but that's because she was raised to be "a confident strong independent woman who don't need no man." Unless you are a man looking to adopt her, in which case she will be your best friend. She is looking for a loving home where she can be part of your family's history. Pros: Good traveler, lap cat, excellent snuggler, doesn't walk on my keyboard, let's me sleep in, doesn't seem to shed. Cons: Farts a little. She is up to date on vaccinations and spayed.
