Our cat was found in a friend's car engine. They couldn't keep her, so we took her in. We've had her for six years, but I'm not quite sure how old she was when we got her (perhaps around 6 months old or so). She's mostly an indoor cat (she's used to pine pellet litter) but enjoys going outside to sit in the sun every now and then (she typically stays close by the house). We have a lot of kids, so the cat is used to a busy household, but she does appreciate her solitude (and certainly favours some members of our family over others). We wish we could take her with us, but don't think she would do well on the journey.

About Dinah: She came from a horrible College Park Apartment Complex.  She was abandoned by an original owner who apparently moved. Dinah showed up at the door of a local community cat feeder who lives there one cold December evening—sweet, friendly, and clearly looking for help! With her striking calico coat and soulful green eyes, she’s one of the Prettiest Cats, but it’s her gentle nature and deep affection for people that truly make her shine. She was recently (late July) found limping, and based on a vet visit she had a hair line fracture of her pelvis!  That was it!  We took her off the street and into our program! She is now fully healed and ready for her final home!! So sweet, so calm and just rested until healed.  She is a delight!   She is FIV positive as we just found out.  But she is healthy and will remain healthy if kept in side with reasonable care and food.  NOTE: For this sweet cat, the Rescue will GUARANTEE her health for anyone adopting indefinitely, we will pay any vet bills (don't expect much), and will also have her teeth cleaned when recommended! Her teeth are pearly white and clean! I got Oddy about 2 months ago, he’s truly the sweetest boy out there but sadly one of my female cats isn’t accepting him so I can no longer keep him. He’s extremely cuddly and sweet, he loves to play with toys and loaf around. I wish i could keep him because he truly is lovely but i need to find a good loving home for him because he really deserves it!

Vin is a 9-year-old pastel tortoiseshell with incredibly soft fur and a confident, affectionate personality. She loves attention and will flop dramatically or gently paw at you when she wants pets. Vin enjoys being around people and thrives on affection, but she’s also independent and happy to do her own thing during the day. She has a sassy streak and isn’t shy about reminding you when it’s time for food, which is part of her charm. Vin is generally low energy, enjoys short play sessions, and reliably gets nightly zoomies. She must be the only pet in the home, as she does not enjoy sharing attention or space with other animals. She does not need a quiet household and would actually enjoy a home with multiple people, as long as she’s the only animal. Children are fine if they are gentle and respectful. Vin prefers pets and attention over being picked up and would thrive in a home with cozy cat furniture and humans who appreciate a confident, expressive companion.

Sweet and spunky girl who loves to cuddle. She has lots of energy so she’s big on playtime. I am moving and unfortunately cannot take her with me. She is about 6 years old. I have another cat as well (9 years old, gray female cat in the 4th photo). They do not have to go together, but if you’d like to adopt both together I can include a cat tree in good condition as well as a litter genie.

Haku will be 5 years old in March. She came from a litter of kittens from a relative’s cat. She would do best in a home with only adults as she will scratch children who are too rough with her. Also, she currently lives with another cat and dog, but I think she would be better off as an only pet or at least with extremely patient other animals. She is energetic, sometimes cuddly, and adventurous.

Omen is 5 years old and I adopted him alongside his brother (Ganon) from a coworker back in 2021. He is very sweet/shy and typically minds his business. He seems to get along mostly only with his brother so he would probably do best if he was the only cat in a household unless you’re able to slowly integrate him with other pets. He loves wet food and cat treats. He sometimes will carry a lil stuffed toy/trinket and meow up and down the hall for attention.
