MEET DINAH - Stunning Calico, Picture Perfect, Super Sweet! SWEET EASY DINAH needs a FOSTER OR REAL HOME ASAP! AWHAR GUARANTEES HEALTH. LOOKING FOR A RELAXING HOME.  NEEDS: Content to look out the window, enjoy her food, and get petted, play. NOT demanding at all or omnipresent for those who like a bit of an independent cat.  She is a delight! BOLD girl with other cats, so happy to be the ONLY cat as long as a wonderful person come with it!!! :) Key Traits:  Sweet, Friendly, Lap Sitter, SO EASY to KEEP, SO grateful to be inside!! Feminine LOVELY sweet cat - Perfect!  So EASY to keep - GRATEFUL to be inside and to recline and rest in her cat tree, watching the birds and squirrels. Great Pet ...originally abandoned by an owner as a kitten at a crummy apartment complex three years ago! Then Dodging cars to get to food, begging to get inside apartments, being attacked by other cats. She made friends with the ladies feeding feral cats in the area.  SHE stole their hearts with her big personality.  She is quiet, good in the litterbox and SO grateful. She will make a PERFECT pet! Not demanding at all.  BUT big purr and loves to be petted! Lifestyle: Very sweet and delicate - a perfect companion, very friendly, good in litter box, compliant with all your request, SO SWEET, will search you out for petting. She is a delight. About Dinah: She came from a horrible College Park Apartment Complex.  She was abandoned by an original owner who apparently moved. Dinah showed up at the door of a local community cat feeder who lives there one cold December evening—sweet, friendly, and clearly looking for help! With her striking calico coat and soulful green eyes, she’s one of the Prettiest Cats, but it’s her gentle nature and deep affection for people that truly make her shine. She was recently (late July) found limping, and based on a vet visit she had a hair line fracture of her pelvis!  That was it!  We took her off the street and into our program! She is now fully healed and ready for her final home!! So sweet, so calm and just rested until healed.  She is a delight!   She is FIV positive as we just found out.  But she is healthy and will remain healthy if kept in side with reasonable care and food.  NOTE: For this sweet cat, the Rescue will GUARANTEE her health for anyone adopting indefinitely, we will pay any vet bills (don't expect much), and will also have her teeth cleaned when recommended! Her teeth are pearly white and clean! LOL  Ideal Home: A calm household - no pets needed, just a wonderful human.  She has seen it ALL, had to FIGHT for food, so just wants a wonderful place to rest, your bed, or a cat tree, some fun, and a great human companion! Humans who appreciate a sweet loving cat. A safe space to rest and thrive She urgently needs a foster or forever home where she can be loved like she deserves.  Trial Adopt or FOSTER Dinah Today - Always a trial basis and we take our cats back now or in the future.  Call/Text: 404-520-1060  Location: A Welcome Home Animal Rescue Email: awhar09@gmail.com Visit: www.awhar.org Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 4, 2026, 10:58 pm

Story
My Mom adopted Callie here in Atlanta. Callie is about 8 years old and has a great life with my Mom, another cat named Lucy and a small dog. My Mom unfortunately is needing to move to Assisted Living and they don't allow pets, so I am needing to rehome all the animals. Callie is a very laid back cat, loves her food. She has always been inside and she would probably more enjoy a laid back household.

Story
Ash is an almost 2-year-old indoor cat looking for a loving new home. I adopted her when she was 3 months old, and she has been a sweet, affectionate companion ever since. She loves cuddling, getting attention, and playing with her favorite toys. Ash has never been aggressive and has never bitten me. She does well with other cats and is fully litter box trained. Ash is naturally shy and startles easily, so she would do best in a calm, quiet home. Once she feels comfortable, she is very loving and enjoys being close to her people. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for her next home. An adoption fee of $75 applies to ensure she goes to a responsible home.

Story
Meet Cosmo 9 months old | Neutered | Domestic Shorthair Cosmo is one of a litter of kittens born to a feral mama who was brought in so they could have a safe chance at an indoor life. What a difference that made—this little guy is now all kitten: playful, curious, and endlessly entertaining. Cosmo and his siblings play hard, nap hard, and find joy in everything (yes—even watching litter box clean-up is fascinating to him). He loves toys, zooming around with other cats, and then curling up for a deep, peaceful sleep—often right in your arms. Why Cosmo is special: • Super social kitten — loves other cats and playmates • Affectionate once tired out — becomes a total cuddle bug • Curious, goofy, and always exploring • Litter box trained and well-socialized Cosmo can be adopted solo or with a sibling (he’d love a playmate, but it’s not required). He’d do best in a home that understands kitten energy and enrichment. He is neutered, vaccinated, and FIV-positive (light), and expected to live a full, happy indoor life with proper care. Questions: debbiejwharton@gmail.com Video: https://youtube.com/shorts/qAgEhbNlxWM Cosmo is ready to trade in survival for snuggles, toys, and a forever home of his own! To ensure the best match for pets and adopters, we ask that you complete an Adoption Application at www.doggieharmony.org (click “Forms”). Once approved, we’ll arrange a home visit with the pet. As a donation-funded rescue, an adoption fee is requested to help cover basic veterinary care.June 4, 2026, 3:36 pm

Story
Bonded PairMeet Jesse & Cubbie: The Perfectly Imperfect Pair Jesse and Cubbie are a bonded duo with a story of survival, resilience, and deep friendship—and they’re searching for a forever home together. These two boys were found at a rural Georgia gas station, where they spent their days begging kind strangers for food. Life hadn’t been easy. Both needed extensive medical care before they could even begin to imagine a better future. Cubbie (about 2 years old) endured two surgeries to treat severe infections from abscessed bite wounds, and also struggled with hair loss due to flea allergies. Jesse (about 1 year old) faced his own challenge with neurological symptoms—likely vestibular disease or an inner ear polyp—but after months of treatment, he’s now stable and thriving without medication. Through it all, they had each other. Today, they are fully medically cleared and ready for adoption. The only ongoing consideration is that Cubbie is FIV-positive—but don’t let that scare you. Cats with FIV can live long, happy, completely normal lives without medication. They simply need a loving, attentive home that will address any illness promptly. Their foster lovingly calls them the “perfectly imperfect duo,” and it fits. They are playful, affectionate, and deeply bonded—you’ll often find them grooming each other or curled up side by side. Cubbie is the more sensitive soul. A little shy at first, he blossoms with patience into a loyal companion who will follow you around asking for love. He’s also very proud of his hunting skills—especially when it comes to his favorite pickle toy, which he’ll “capture” and proudly present as dinner. Jesse is the adventurer. Curious and full of life, his absolute favorite thing is a catio (trust us—it’s worth looking up!). He’s always ready to explore and soak up the world around him. And together? They share a love for Churu treats and the simple joy of being safe, loved, and together. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this incredible pair, please reach out to sadye@doggieharmony.org . An adoption application will be required. Jesse and Cubbie have already overcome so much—now they just need someone to give them the happy ending they’ve been waiting for.June 4, 2026, 3:36 pm

Story
Marnie's journey started out as a feral cat that was trapped with the intention of spaying her and re-releasing her. She didn't have the typical feral cat behavior and you could tell that she wanted to trust people. She had an intestinal infection so she went home with her now foster mom to be treated before having her spay done. During that time, she realized that she likes being pet and getting attention. Marnie is a beautiful cat and has come a long way.with her socialization. She is in a house with dogs so is not getting all of the attention that she needs. With that being said, when she finds her person, she will thrive with time and patience. She tested positive for FIV but the vet confirmed that she can live a long, normal, healthy life. Marnie is so sweet and needs a chance to become the amazing cat that we know she will be and get the love and attention that she so deserves. Will you be the one to give her that chance? Age: 1 year Weight: 9 lbs   Temperament: Gets along with adults but wants to warm up to you.  Might be ok with respectful dog.  Is  FIV/FeLV positive so maybe needs to be only cat.   Training: Litter box trained    Temperament:    Apprehensive at first but warms up with time   Vetting: Spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and FIV/FeLV is positive   Adoption Fee:  $50   Email for questions:   debbiejwharton@gmail. com   To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (bit.ly/DH-Cat) for caretakers to review. Once approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation funded, so please expect a fee to cover each pet's basic vetting. March 7, 2026, 5:36 pm
