About Dinah: She came from a horrible College Park Apartment Complex.  She was abandoned by an original owner who apparently moved. Dinah showed up at the door of a local community cat feeder who lives there one cold December evening—sweet, friendly, and clearly looking for help! With her striking calico coat and soulful green eyes, she’s one of the Prettiest Cats, but it’s her gentle nature and deep affection for people that truly make her shine. She was recently (late July) found limping, and based on a vet visit she had a hair line fracture of her pelvis!  That was it!  We took her off the street and into our program! She is now fully healed and ready for her final home!! So sweet, so calm and just rested until healed.  She is a delight!   She is FIV positive as we just found out.  But she is healthy and will remain healthy if kept in side with reasonable care and food.  NOTE: For this sweet cat, the Rescue will GUARANTEE her health for anyone adopting indefinitely, we will pay any vet bills (don't expect much), and will also have her teeth cleaned when recommended! I just had a litter unexpectedly and I need someone to have time to get to know her. I have too many cats. And it’s stressful on most of them

I got Oddy about 2 months ago, he’s truly the sweetest boy out there but sadly one of my female cats isn’t accepting him so I can no longer keep him. He’s extremely cuddly and sweet, he loves to play with toys and loaf around. I wish i could keep him because he truly is lovely but i need to find a good loving home for him because he really deserves it!

Vin is a 9-year-old pastel tortoiseshell with incredibly soft fur and a confident, affectionate personality. She loves attention and will flop dramatically or gently paw at you when she wants pets. Vin enjoys being around people and thrives on affection, but she’s also independent and happy to do her own thing during the day. She has a sassy streak and isn’t shy about reminding you when it’s time for food, which is part of her charm. Vin is generally low energy, enjoys short play sessions, and reliably gets nightly zoomies. She must be the only pet in the home, as she does not enjoy sharing attention or space with other animals. She does not need a quiet household and would actually enjoy a home with multiple people, as long as she’s the only animal. Children are fine if they are gentle and respectful. These two boys were found at a rural Georgia gas station, where they spent their days begging kind strangers for food. Life hadn’t been easy. Both needed extensive medical care before they could even begin to imagine a better future. Cubbie (about 2 years old) endured two surgeries to treat severe infections from abscessed bite wounds, and also struggled with hair loss due to flea allergies. Jesse (about 1 year old) faced his own challenge with neurological symptoms—likely vestibular disease or an inner ear polyp—but after months of treatment, he’s now stable and thriving without medication. Through it all, they had each other. Today, they are fully medically cleared and ready for adoption. The only ongoing consideration is that Cubbie is FIV-positive—but don’t let that scare you. Cats with FIV can live long, happy, completely normal lives without medication. They simply need a loving, attentive home that will address any illness promptly. Their foster lovingly calls them the “perfectly imperfect duo,” and it fits. They are playful, affectionate, and deeply bonded—you’ll often find them grooming each other or curled up side by side. Marnie's journey started out as a feral cat that was trapped with the intention of spaying her and re-releasing her. She didn't have the typical feral cat behavior and you could tell that she wanted to trust people. She had an intestinal infection so she went home with her now foster mom to be treated before having her spay done. During that time, she realized that she likes being pet and getting attention. Marnie is a beautiful cat and has come a long way.with her socialization. She is in a house with dogs so is not getting all of the attention that she needs. With that being said, when she finds her person, she will thrive with time and patience. She tested positive for FIV but the vet confirmed that she can live a long, normal, healthy life. Marnie is so sweet and needs a chance to become the amazing cat that we know she will be and get the love and attention that she so deserves. Will you be the one to give her that chance?
