Story
Date of Birth: 5/9/17Adoption Fee: $100.00Date Posted: 4/7/24Hi everyone! My name is Princess Kate and I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. A nice person brought me into a local animal control facility a while back. I was so scared. My once beautiful dilute Calico coat looked very ragged because so many fleas bit me after being dumped outside. I had a bad allergic reaction to those nasty little creatures. The wonderful ladies at Pippi's Place took me to my foster mom's house. It has taken me a little while to get my fur looking its best again. My foster mom was just fine with me hanging out with her until it happened. Look how great I look now! I am a little timid in new situations so I did not do well in our adoption center when they let me go there so people could see how great I am. I am with my foster mom now and back to my happy, content self. I am a senior girl who is very much looking forward to meeting my forever family. Let me tell you a little bit about my day. I jump onto my foster mom's bed for back scratches and pets first thing in the morning. I then lead my foster mom into the bathroom where she closes the door for our quiet time together. She keeps a snack and water in there just for me. Then I get back scratches and she tells me how special I am. I have my snacks and more pets and even a manicure on some mornings. One of my favorite places is my foster mom's closet. I go in there to take a nap because one of the cats I live with can be kind of pushy. I like to get my beauty sleep in peace! In other words, I am a happy girl who will love being with her special person most of all. I will be happiest in a quiet home with my very own person to love me. I don't mind sharing my family with another feline but no pushy cats, please. I will be so happy to meet you!

Story
Meet Penelope! This sweet calico girl was found among a feral cat colony and was quickly found to be not feral. She is the definition of velcro-cat! Soaking up the attention and receiving as many head scratches as possible are her favorite activities. Penelope can be shy as first, but the time and patience is takes to get to know her is definitley worth it! Penelope can be a solo cat or get along with a kitty companion. She would prefer a home without dogs. Penelope is spayed and up to date on all vaccines. Story
Meet Shallot, the dazzling calico queen with eyes as green as emeralds! This teenage momma is as sweet as they come, craving affection and attention like a true diva. While she may not be a lap cat, Shallot's favorite spot is right by your side, purring contently as she basks in your presence. With her playful spirit and adorable chirpy meows, Shallot will keep you entertained for hours on end. And let's not forget about her precious baby Sprout – a bundle of fur just waiting to be snuggled and loved. Together, they make the purrfect pair, bringing double the love and joy into any home. Shallot is a little shy at first, but once she gets to know you, she couldn't get enough attention from you. She would love to be adopted with her baby Sprout or into a home with another kitty friend. ----- Once vetted, our kittens are dewormed, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped. Our feline adoption fee is $120, which assists in offsetting but does not entirely cover the expenses incurred for the animal's care and completion of essential veterinary care. We do not place cats in homes based on the order of application received. Instead, we prioritize the earliest applications that are the best match for the kitten. We will prioritize applicants within a 2 hour drive of Atlanta, GA to help minimize the kitten's stress during transport. Our adoption process does not happen in a single day. Typically, it can take at least a week for applications to move from submission to adoption. We reserve the right to deny any applicant for any reason. For the application - please visit https://thekittenproject.org/adopt-page/form-adopter-info?petName=Shallot

Story
Aida is a very sweet and quiet cat. We adopted her when she was around 2 years. She was abused by her previous owner and hence she took some time to open up initially. She loves playing with cat toys. She is the sweetest cat. One thing she does had some behavioral issues initially when we got her related to litter. But now she seems to be doing fine and adjusted, she does love a clean litter box. Unfortunately, because we are moving out we cannot take her with us.

Story
Leigh’s fosterCourtesy posted for Canine Crusaders of Atlanta Must email: caninecrusadersatlanta@yahoo.com Meet Zoey! **Zoey is a most unusual color, very pretty, LOVELY Face and Personality, with soft gray fur. She was rescued with her 3 siblings from under a deck. Zoey needs another cat in the home to adopt, preferably her brother or sister, or another good natured, sweet cat. Zoey is 1 1/2 years old, a very sweet girl who talks when it’s time to eat, likes to play but is also an independent girl. She was the runt in her litter and has stayed on the small side for a cat. We'd like to adopt her with another cat or with one of her littermates, also up for adoption. But adding to your household with another friendly cat is great too!!! Having a pair of cats is much easier than one and can keep each other company when home alone.   Adoption fee is $150 which includes spay, vaccines, combo test and microchip.   email: caninecrusadersatlanta@yahoo.com Also, text 404-520-1060 to learn more.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 19, 2024, 3:27 pm

Story
I acquired Nefertiti during the beginning of the pandemic after she was weaned from her mother. Nefertiti has only been socialized with me and is timid around strangers. It will take time for Nefertiti to become accustomed to new people and new environments. Her new owner will need to be patient with. She is often anxious in those situations and will hiss or retreat when she feels unsafe. Nefertiti does not like strangers to reach out and touch her. She may perceive the actions as threatening and may scratch to defend herself. Nefertiti is a typical cat, she likes to chase, run and hunt. She's food motivated and enjoys rubs on the neck and head only. Nefertiti has not lived with other animals and may not do well with large dogs and cats. She has shared a space with a small dog and avoided the dog and only hissed when the dog invaded her personal space. I have never seen Nefertiti attack another human or dog, but I believe her anxiety may aggressive behavior that can be addres
