Meet Leia - the sweet and snuggly companion you've been dreaming of! She just can't get enough of human company and adores nothing more than curling up on the sofa with you during movie night or while you're working hard. She's not shy about speaking up either; let her chirp away when she's hungry or feeling sassy! How I came to Kittensnatchers: Found fending for herself **If you are applying for a cat that needs a cat friend and you do not have another cat in the home or plan to adopt 2 cats, you application will not be processed** If you're interested in adopting this furrbaby, please fill out an application at https://forms.gle/2vMCSwUWQKVepqir5 All our animals are fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped prior to adoption. Story
Are you looking for a cat that is gorgeous to look at but you'd prefer not to touch? Is your perfect feline friend a strong independent woman who don't need no man? Do you have it in your hear to give a home to a gorgeous girl with a lot of potential who is VERY low maintenance? You're in luck - Shelly is the kitty girl for you!   Shelly is a beautiful, petite dilute calico with the biggest most expressive eyes. We don't know much about her background other than that she came to us as a nursing mama with SIX adorable baby kittens from a supposed hoarding situation. It's clear Shelly isn't feral, but whatever she's been through has made her very wary of humans. Shelly enjoys a cozy hiding space and isn't interested much in her foster fam. While she is a very shy girl, we can tell she is a sweet cat at heart and often greets her foster parents with the most precious little meow meows, especially when she'd like some food. She is starting to get better with gentle head pets and with the right home and time to build trust, we think she'll get even better. She is extremely low maintenance, likes to munch munch munch on food, is not a scratcher, and exellent with the litter box. There could not be an easier kitty to care for. She also seems to get along well with other kitties.   That said, while we're hopeful Shelly will continue to warm up and eventually come out of her shell, needs an adopter who is exceptionally patient, has experience with shy kitties and, is ultimately okay with having a cat they might not see that often or prefers to be on their own. Really though, who can blame her for wanting some peace, quiet, and space after birthing and caring for SIX babies!  Consider giving this special girl a chance and adding her to your family!  **If you are applying for a cat that needs a cat friend and you do not have another cat in the home or plan to adopt 2 cats, you application will not be processed** If you're interested in adopting this furrbaby, please fill out an application at https://forms.gle/2vMCSwUWQKVepqir5 All our animals are fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped prior to adoption. Story
Meet Contessa Kit Kat! It takes a special human to consider a fifteen year old pet, but we are hopeful she'll catch someone's eye. She deserves the world! Kit Kat is dreaming of finding a loving human in a cozy home where she can spend her days snuggling, laying in your arms, eating lots of wet food, and snoozing the day away. She's far from high maintenance and promises to provide so much happiness. She's just dreaming of finding someone who will appreciate her company and all the love she has to give in her golden years.  She truly relishes attention, begging for chin pets and face rubs before she settles in for one of her many hours of napping each day. She is hard of hearing but navigates her foster home just fine, but would do best in a home with older kids or adults who have patience and understanding about her lack of hearing. Kit Kat came to PAWS after living in the same home for her entire life. Her owners could no longer care for her after moving to a senior care facility. She has been gentle and patient with other respectful cats and dogs, but would be just as happy as the only pet in a home. Kit Kat has hyperthyroidism which is a common cat senior condition and incredibly easy to treat with an affordable twice a day tablet that gets crushed in her food or given orally. She is a slow eater, and prefers to graze throughout the day. Kit Kat also has chronic kidney disease, another common senior cat condition. She eats a wet food diet of food formulated to be gentle on her kidneys. Since her current foster home is also home to food insecure pets who would steal her food, she spends much of her days in a separate room and she's just dreaming of curling up in bed and on the couch with you instead! Her foster mom can't say enough wonderful things about her. Kit Kat brings so much joy and happiness to a home! She's charming, quirky, and adorable. She's a gem. If you would like to learn more about Kit Kat, please reach out to her foster mom! Kit Kat will go home with a THREE MONTH CARE PACKAGE including her medication and special diet! Age: ~15 years old How I came to PAWS: Owner Surrender Animal ID#: A179250 Location: foster care- this pet is not at the shelter! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Biggie Smalls is a 7 yr old love bug that joined us from a TNR colony. At the time that he came to us, he was being treated for an ear infection, and an injury to his left wrist.  Biggie also had an injury to his left cornea from an unknown cause, which has left him with some scarring of the cornea.   Don't let Biggie's past medical issues fool you.  This handsome man is ready for some love and a nice lap to lay on.  He has some pain from time to time in his wrist, but that doesn't stop him from jumping, and climbing the cat tree.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 14, 2025, 12:30 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This playful and curious  guy loves nothing  more than being  in the center of activity.   R escued as a kitten,  he showed his quiet confidence early on as he was the first of his siblings to explore new  spaces – and meet new cat faces – in his foster home.  He’s tentative at first but doesn’t hide for too long as he’s a brave guy and is always  looking for his next adventure. If he’s not chasing the broom as you ’re sweeping  the floor or batting cat toys around the house, he’ll be fast asleep on the pile of laundry that still needs to be folded.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 16, 2025, 12:01 am

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Sonny With a Chance! Sonny is approximately 2 years old and had a rough upbringing. Her days on the streets of Kensington we're 'Fine' until they were not.  Sonny (Who had a chance) was only 1/2 cats who survived a vicious dog attack. Sonny, and her 'son,' Bob Duncan were the only 2 who made it out alive. We THANKFULLY, we're able to rescue them in time> Sonny with a Chance is a charming feline with a heart as big as her personality. Her sweetness is as palpable as a scoop of honey, always ready to share a friendly purr. Her gentleness is a calming presence, soothing like a lullaby. Yet, Sonny isn't all serenity. She's got a goofy side that will tickle your funny bone, her antics a delightful reminder of the joy in everyday moments. Cuddly and mellow, Sonny loves nothing more than a cozy lap to curl up on. Adopt Sonny With a Chance, not just for a pet, but for a companion who will fill your days with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 17, 2025, 3:11 pm
