  Looking for a *lap cat*? Don't let that grumpy grandma face fool you, Kit Kat is your girl! Kit Kat is a 15 year old calico and purr machine who wants nothing more than to sit in your lap and snuggle with you! When this sweet kitty came to PAWS she was dangerously skinny and shut down, but thanks to PAWS, she is feeling much brighter and better! As she has started feeling healthier and more energized, Kit Kat has become a fan of watching the world go by through the window and occasionally chasing a toy mouse or two.  She’ll even greet you with the sweetest grandma meow! Kit Kat takes a pill in her food twice a day for her hyperthyroidism and currently eats a prescription food (Hills K/D) designed to help her stage 2 chronic kidney disease. Hyperthyroidism and chronic kidney disease are common senior cat ailments that can be managed well through consistent care. Kit Kat seems to be hard of hearing and this can result in her being accidentally surprised/scared by other pets or young children. Because of this, we believe she would do best in a home with adults or older children. Kit Kat has adjusted to the quiet dog and cat in her foster home, and would do well in a home with respectful other pets or as the only pet. Kit Kat always uses the litterbox and is a big fan of meal time! Anastasia(Stasia) was born dec 2011 she had all her initial shots between then and 2012 and she has been fixed ...she doesn't have any special needs she is loving and a great mouser by the way she is beautiful and xxxx@xxxx.x also has a daughter named lil lady whom was born in 2012 in December as well .. she had a litter of 5 at that time

Female cat takes awhile to warm up to people very loving and friendly

Alvin is an older cat. He is 15. His owners got him at age 13 from the SPCA, they are older and are now unable to continue caring for him. Alvin currently lives and gets along with 1 other cat. Alvin is sweet, but does not always use his litter box.

Kitty is a very sweet girl. She arrived in my backyard last summer as a stray and I took her in. I am moving soon and cannot take her with me. She prefers to be an indoor and outdoor cat. She enjoys my company and likes to be near me, but is not clingy. She gives kisses too! Please consider her for your new friend.

Anna, the calico, and Elsa are littermates about 6 months old. Anna is a young calico kitty who LOVES CUDDLING and playing. She gets along other cats. Jolene is a sweet dilute calico who was found wandering alone, trying to get into neighbors homes. We don't know what happened to this sweet young kitty, hut the behavior indicates that she once had a home and then someone cruelly dumped her outside to fend for herself.Sweet Jolene is diagnosed Felv+, probably a result of being outside, left to fend for herself. Cindy was staying inside the burnt house and coming out to find food when someone spotted her and started to feed her. She was feeding her for 3 months but called Four the Paws when the weather started to get cold. Cindy went to a foster home where she was warm and had blankets to lay on. Cindy is a bit chubby because she loves to eat food and her chicken snacks. She is really laid back and doesn't play much but loves to lay on her thick blankets and walk around to see what is going on or to look out the window. We think it will be best if she is an only cat in the household she really doesn't like the other fosters and will hiss at them when she is walking by them. She loves to be petted on her head and will purr up a storm. Cindy was already spayed, received her 1st FVRCP vaccine, dewormed, received flea medication, and tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV. Luna is a very loving 4 year old adult female cat. She does not get along with other cats as she is very territorial. She loves being pet and will follow you around everywhere you go. She does not like to be held, but will sleep with you and snuggle against you while you sit on the couch.

DOB is July 15, 2016.Victor is a very shy, but is sweet with his foster mom, and adorable cat. Once he warms up to you you have a friend for life. He loves to be petted and have his belly rubbed. He would need a home where someone would be willing to allow him to adjust. He is not the type of cat to meet you at the door and might be shy if you have an active home.  He will wake you up in the morning by flopping down next to your head and purring!
