I am moving back in with my parents upon graduating and I am looking for a new home for my very sweet cat, Critter. I found Critter when she was a young stray two years ago and she has been a wonderful cat since. What began as a temporary situation bloomed into what I thought could be her forever home, however, with a rowdy cat already at home, Critter's peace has been disturbed. When Critter is around hyper cats it causes stress to her body that affects her kidneys. Critter had a brief bout of UTI history, but has been healthy once separated from the other cat and fed an all wet food diet, including food specifically for cats with UTIs. Since I am to move back in with this other cat, I unfortunately must look for a new home for Critter. It is with a very heavy heart. Critter is the cuddliest, friendliest, sweetest cat. Callie is extremely sweet and cuddly, and a loud purrer. She doesn't let herself be picked up but she does demand lots of pets and affection, and likes to be nearby. She loves playing with spring toys and having plenty of hiding spots and tall spaces.She was found as a 1 year old living outside, with kittens, and then lived with a foster for 8 months before being adopted. Because she didn't learn about humans as a kitten, she takes time to trust each person she meets so an experienced adopter or very patient owner will be best for her.She is not feral, but is very skittish and needs time and patience to open up.Unfortunately, she does not get along with our other cat and we think it will be in her best interest to go to a home without pets, or an experienced adopter with extreme patience to slowly introduce her to any other animals (could be year+)She is currently on special food for urinary tract but is drinking more water.Adoption fee will be donated to the rescue we adopted her from

MEET PEPSI! Pepsi and her siblings joined us through our Kyle’s Cats Fund as part of an ongoing local TNR project. They were born to two parents not used to interaction with people so are still a bit shy. They’ll need a little help blossoming but are making great strides in their foster home and we have no doubt they’ll come around. What’s more rewarding than watching a shy little kitten transform one in their forever home? Pepsi has a gorgeous medium-length Calico coat. She and her siblings are around 5 months old, born mid-February. These smart, gorgeous floofs are currently doing great in their active foster home, adjusting to the sights and sounds, and even purring for pets! They all love a good scratch. Because they will likely be a bit shy when first entering their new home and will need time to bond with their new humans, we recommend giving them a small space (bathroom, pop-up play pen, etc.) while they get to know their surroundings and being acclimated to the full space over time. These cuties may not actively seek pets on their own so lots of snuggling and interaction will make a world of difference for them! They are currently in foster care with other cats, a small dog, and children and would benefit from going home with other social pets so they can follow their lead. Pepsi is full vetted, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Pepsi is available for adoption through our Kyles Cats Fund. Kyles Cats is a life-saving TNR program of City of Elderly Love dedicated to improving the lives of community cats in our area. Our Kyle's Cats adoptables follow the same adoption process.
