Story
Meet Butter    Butter is a stunning young calico, barely one year old, who is looking for a very special person willing to earn her trust. She isn’t the type of cat who’s going to jump into your lap on day one. She is shy, cautious, and unsure of people. Butter will be a challenge, but one well worth it. The secret to Butter’s heart? Food. She is incredibly food motivated, and treats will be your greatest tool for building trust. Every snack, every quiet interaction, and every small victory will help her realize that people can be safe. Butter needs someone who understands that relationships with fearful cats are built over weeks and months—not days. She may never be the “instant cuddle bug,” but the moment she chooses to approach you on her own, accepts pets, or simply relaxes in your presence will feel like winning the lottery. She would thrive in a calm home with someone who appreciates the journey as much as the destination. She would also benefit from a cat friend, as her current cat family gives her confidence and companionship that ease her anxiety. If you’re looking for a cat who will immediately demand attention, Butter isn’t your girl. But if you’re looking for the incredible satisfaction of helping a timid cat blossom into the companion she was always meant to be, Butter just might be your perfect match. Some cats give their love freely. Butter will make you earn it—and when you do, it’ll be worth every bit of the wait.     How I came to Kittensnatchers: trapped at an established cat colony **If you are applying for a cat that needs a cat friend and you do not have another cat in the home or plan to adopt 2 cats, you application will not be processed** If you're interested in adopting this furrbaby, please fill out an application at https://forms.gle/2vMCSwUWQKVepqir5 All our animals are fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped prior to adoption. I got her when she was a bit younger from a shelter. She was a lost cat so I do not know her age specifically. She does shed a bit. I am looking a nice, fun family to take her in. She is pretty energetic and loves to snuggle

Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Callie is extremely sweet and cuddly, and a loud purrer. She doesn't let herself be picked up but she does demand lots of pets and affection, and likes to be nearby. She loves playing with spring toys and having plenty of hiding spots and tall spaces. She was found as a 1 year old living outside, with kittens, and then lived with a foster for 8 months before being adopted. Because she didn't learn about humans as a kitten, she takes time to trust each person she meets so an experienced adopter or very patient owner will be best for her.She is not feral, but is very skittish and needs time and patience to open up.Unfortunately, she does not get along with our other cat and we think it will be in her best interest to go to a home without pets, or an experienced adopter with extreme patience to slowly introduce her to any other animals (could be year+)She is currently on special food for urinary tract but is drinking more water.Adoption fee will be donated to the rescue we adopted her from

Story
Butter here. Little secret, if I was a human I would be called a "cougar." Seems I really like having youngish feline eye candy around. They make me giggle in my own cat way. I currently share my space with one or two adorable young adult boys. They show me respect. I allow them to amuse me. And foster mom has commented that in general, I seem happier than I was before they arrived. I have been hanging out with my foster mom for a few months. It took her a while to figure out the secret life of this cat (see the previous comment about being a "cougar"). Also, she has learned that when I approach, she needs to put her hand out for me to decide if I want to be pet or not. Spoiler: I usually do, but I would like you to start with my shoulders. Still figuring out laps and being held, but if you would like a sophisticated cat to help you manage a couple of young boy cats, you just need some Butter! Butter is about 11 years old, spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and is litter box trained. Adoption fee: $75 (plus tax) (Adopt 2 cats and save $25 off the total adoption fee!)
