Story
Muhrka is a 6-year-old calico female, spayed, microchipped, and in good health. She’s a rescue with a calm, independent personality. She mostly keeps to herself, but once a day she seeks out human touch—curling up beside you or sitting on your lap. She’s also a great nap buddy, especially for quiet afternoons. About Muhrka: * 🐱 Indoor/outdoor cat * 🏡 Best suited for someone living in a house in a quiet neighborhood * 🌿 Independent and low-maintenance * 🛋️ Enjoys calm companionship, TV time, and naps * 💤 Makes an excellent nap buddy * 🐾 Okay with other pets * 🚫 Not recommended for homes with little kids (she gets scared by noise and commotion) I’m moving abroad into a city apartment, which wouldn’t be a good environment for her. She needs space, quiet, and a predictable routine. There is a $50 rehoming fee to help ensure she goes to a safe, responsible home. My priority is finding the right fit for Muhrka.

Meet Cat and Kitten Fosters Urgently Needed! Donations Welcome! Fosters needed! A community member recently reached out to ask for help with the 15 (yes, fifteen!) cats and kittens they're caring for. We'd love to help these kitties find foster homes so they can get ready to find their forever homes. Of the 15, seven are males, five are females, and three are too shy to tell. One appears to be a pregnant female. We're looking for numerous homes so that we can put these kitties in pairs or small groups. If you're not able to foster, but would like to donate to the kitties' care, feeding, and medical costs, you can donate two ways:: WA Gives - https://www.wagives.org/donate/red-waggin-rescue-1 Zelle - connellpetrescue@gmail.com ______________________ ADOPTION INFO CAT adoption fees include: - All Basic Cat Vaccinations - Rabies - FIV / FeLV Testing - Flea Treatment - Spay (Up to $300) - Neuter (Up to 200) - Microchip & Registration All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs and cats in our rescue. Story
Meet Gemma & Jax – Better Together Gemma and Jax aren’t siblings by birth, but they’ve built a beautiful sibling bond in foster care — and now they’re ready to find their forever home together. Both started life as strays in eastern Washington before finding safety through Red Waggin’. They were paired in foster care for companionship and socialization, and they’ve become fast friends, sharing playtime, naps, and plenty of snuggles. Gemma – Female about 8 months old, a shy and quiet sweetheart who came to us with her mom, Jewell. She’s learning that the world can be a safe, loving place. Jax – Male about 11 months old, playful and affectionate. In his previous foster home, he loved romping with older cats and has kept that joyful spirit. Bonded Pair: These two must be adopted together. Indoor-Only Policy: Red Waggin’ requires all cats to remain indoors. If you’re ready to give a loving home to a gentle, playful pair, Gemma & Jax would love to make your life a little cozier (and a lot cuter). ************************************************************************* ADOPTION INFO CAT adoption fees include: - All Basic Cat Vaccinations - Rabies - FIV / FeLV Testing - Flea Treatment - Spay (Up to $100) - Neuter (Up to $100) - Microchip & Registration All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs and cats in our rescue.
