Introducing Baby Girl, a 2-year-old kitty who was surrendered to us when her owner could no longer care for her. To put it mildly, Baby Girl is deeply unimpressed with her current accommodations. The shelter life gets a zero-star review from her, and she makes no secret of the fact that she would rather be anywhere else! Baby Girl is a sensitive, shy soul who finds the shelter bustle way too overwhelming. Touch is strictly on a "don't call us, we'll call you" basis right now, as she prefers hiding in a cozy nook over accepting pets. But under all that grumpiness and stage fright is a sweet cat who just needs to feel safe again. Her ideal living arrangement is a peaceful, low-key sanctuary. She enjoys the company of other calm cats, but she considers dogs and energetic children to be entirely too chaotic for her liking and will immediately retreat under the nearest couch. Evie is a wonderful loving sweet older cat with a perfect clean bill of health. We just ran all the tests on her this week (blood and urine included) and she is in amazing shape with no pressing health issues. She loves to snuggle and curl up with her people. Evie does best in a one-pet household. She gets territorial in her older age with other dogs and cats but is perfect with people. We have been her people for twelve years (since we adopted her)...but because she is doing worse and worse with other pets we no longer want her to be stressed out in our multi-pet household We hope you will consider adding her to your family! Meet Marguerite de Ville, a beautiful Tortoiseshell cat who is full of life and has plenty of love to give to a lucky family. She is a true gem of Purrfect Pals and is looking for her forever home. Marguerite is a lovely lady with a lot of character. Marguerite is also quite independent and enjoys her alone time, but she will never say no to a cuddle session with her favorite humans. Marguerite de Ville is positive for FIV which means her immune system is a bit fragile and she could transmit it to other cats so she need to remain an indoor only kitty for her health. As a part of Purrfect Pals, Marguerite has been altered, microchipped, and is up to date on all of her vaccinations. She has also been tested for any viral infections and is in excellent health. Kayleigh arrived at my home when she was around 10 months old. She's been a house cat for her entire life. At around 12 years old, she's calm and enjoys her routines in an 800 sq ft condo. She likes to go out on the balcony especially with human company. She also meets me at my work computer at home. When I come back from an errand, she's often near the door upon my return and will promptly plop down on the shipping paper on the floor for a belly rub. Not a lap-cat, she sits next to me on the couch. She’s always been the only pet in the house. One eye has leaked some fluid which has clouded her eye a bit. She shows no issues with it, and the Vet has told me to watch it for changes.

Raffia is a 6-year-old calico with a big personality, a loving heart, and a story of incredible resilience. After being abandoned by the people she trusted, Raffia was left to survive on her own through the harsh Houston weather and elements. Thankfully, she was eventually brought to safety, where she received the care she desperately needed. She arrived with a few medical concerns that had to be addressed, but after months of treatment, monitoring, and lots of TLC, Raffia is doing great and is finally ready to find the forever home she has waited so long for. One of the biggest obstacles in her adoption journey is her heart condition, which requires a once-daily medication that costs approximately $50 per month. Despite being stable, healthy, and living a happy life, many potential adopters have passed her by because of her diagnosis. It breaks our hearts because Raffia has so much love, companionship, and joy to offer the right family. Raffia is a sweet, affectionate, and delightfully sassy girl. She loves rubbing against your legs, following you around the house, and charming everyone she meets. Food is one of her favorite things in life, and shes never shy about reminding you when its mealtime. After spending the last 15 months in boarding while waiting for her chance at a home, were helping her shed a few extra pounds and enjoy more exercise now that she has more space to move around. Like many confident cats, Raffia knows exactly what she likes. She enjoys affection and loves being pet, but she is not a fan of being picked up and carried around. Shell also let you know when shes had enough attention and appreciates people who respect her boundaries. Raffia would likely thrive as the only cat in the home where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself. She may do well with respectful dogs, as shes a confident and self-assured cat. We would recommend a home without young children and feel she would do best with older, cat-savvy kids (14+) or adults who understand feline body language and respect her space. After everything shes been through, Raffia deserves a family willing to look beyond a diagnosis and see the wonderful cat she truly is. My cat is 2 years old as of July 16,2026. I moved in with family and my family is severely allergic. She has been moved from 2 homes already who it didn’t work out with. One had small dogs and she was scared and the other just didn’t get along with the owners.

Woozle is a charming, silly boy who has truly mastered the art of relaxation. Introducing Columbia This sweet but shy girl, born around 4/1/2025, arrived at the shelter with her kittens in tow, after being found abandoned outside a home. Columbia has raised and launched her babies successfully, and is now starting to figure out that humans are actually pretty nice, and having regular meals and a safe place to sleep isn't the worst thing in the world. As you can see from her video, she is still stuck a bit in "flight mode" and hasn't taken the time to learn how to play, or how to relax on a person's lap. The good news is, she will let us pick her up and we can tell that, with the right person and some patience, she could learn how to let herself be loved. She's not a fan of dogs, and the energy levels and sounds of small children will probably always be on her least-favorite-things list. She does enjoy the company of other calm kitties. Introducing Dolly This beautiful shorthaired tabby/white girl is SO ready for a home of her own. Picture this. You're a young single mother of very active quintuplet toddlers, and someone shows up to say "look pretty and playful, you're on camera!" Now imagine what Dolly thought, and you'll understand her very inactive video. "Please. I am exhausted. I just want to sit here and be adored. Pet me, but for the love of Friskies, please do NOT ask me to exercise in any way, shape, or form. Oh, and WHEN. ARE. THEY. BEING . ADOPTED?!?! I need some rest. Please. I am begging you. Just let me nap for ONE SEC... oh no, they are pouncing on my tail again...." We do think Dolly, who is only about a year old, will be happy to play once the kittens have moved on to their new homes. But if you want to just offer her a warm and cozy, QUIET sunspot for the first week or two, she would worship you forever. Dolly hasn't yet been tested with other cats and dogs (really, 5 rambunctious kitten roomies are ENOUGH for right now), but we will be able to do so soon, as those kittens will be moving on out.
