we would really love for them to stay together, or at the very least be able to stay in touch with one another. we understand that this is a long shot that is why we are offering support services, waved adoption fees if both are adopted together, free daycare days, boarding gift credit, and more to ensure these babies are able to stay together or close, thank you

NOTE:Submit the adoption interest application directly at our HSNB website:https://www.hsnb.org/dog-adoption-applicationWe may not receive anything submitted through PetFinder or Adopt-A-Pet! If you do not receive confirmation from us, email adoptions@hsnb.org .-----Meet BOSA! ❤️ What a love! BOSA is a 1 1/2 year old Cane Corso with a lot of energy and a mind for curiosity. BOSA is still learning to walk on leash, and he does jump and pull, because he is just a puppy in a giant's body. He doesn't know "sit" yet but one volunteer discovered that if you gently rub the big guy from the back of his neck all the way down his back to his tailbone, he will sit for you, (almost) every time. BOSA will require an adopter with plenty of breed and training experience, because he's a sweet boy, but he's also a powerful breed. He needs a patient, confident, and active home that will dedicate time to positive-reinforcement training to help him channel his big puppy energy into becoming a well-mannered gentleman.Because BOSA is so new to the shelter, we will add more details as we get to know him better. But for today, BOSA just wanted to say, hello! Primary Color: Brown Brindle Weight: 90 Age: 1yrs 10mths 0wks

Story
I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog Adoption:2Song – Smart, Attentive and People-Oriented Song is a 2-year-old Cane Corso Mastiff mix weighing 81 pounds with an engaging, affectionate nature and an eagerness to learn. Attentive and trainable: Song is highly treat motivated and already responds to “sit” and “down.” She enjoys learning new skills and happily follows cues, including hopping onto patio furniture for fun interactive exercises. Affectionate companion: Song loves being close to her people, leaning in for pets and sometimes gently pressing her side against your legs for more affection. Learning leash manners: She may pull moderately or get a little bouncy when excited, but she responds well to redirection, settling with a simple “sit” cue. Calm around other dogs: Song ignores nearby dogs on walks and would do well with appropriately matched canine companions or as a solo dog with dog friends outside the home. Song is a sweet, intelligent girl looking for a home that will continue her training while enjoying all the affection and companionship she has to offer. August 1, 2026, 6:23 pm

Story
Meet Maya! ❤️🐾 If you're looking for a dog who will make you smile every day, Maya might just be your perfect match. This goofy girl is an absolute blast to be around. She loves splashing in the water, soaking up attention, and making friends wherever she goes. Maya has never met a stranger and is happiest when she's spending time with her people. Maya is currently living in a foster home with both dogs and children and has done wonderfully. Her foster family describes her as sweet, easygoing, and always ready for a good cuddle session. While Maya enjoys her adventures, she's also a champion couch potato. After a day of fun, she's more than happy to curl up next to you and binge-watch your favorite shows. She truly offers the best of both worlds—playful when it's time for fun and relaxed when it's time to unwind. Maya has been waiting patiently for a family of her own, and we know her perfect home is out there. Could it be yours? To meet Maya, please email aarmstrong@wecareanimalrescue.org

Story
These gorgeous pups will be incredible, loyal and loving companions for the right fit home. Their mama is a full standard poodle and their dad (according to genetic testing) is a full cane corso….. CANOODLES! The pups are in a loving foster home with children and dogs. We do expect these pups will be large size to giant dogs. They will have the intelligence and perhaps hypoallergenic coat of the poodle and the loyalty and protective nature of the cane corso. Temperament: this cross breed is known for being intelligent, eager to please, and deeply affectionate with families. Proper socialization during the puppy stage is critical. Exercise/Care: they will require mental and physical stimulation. They will thrive in an active home that can provide regular walks, play, socialization and training. A well socialized and trained canoodle makes a devoted companion. An experienced dog owner will make an awesome match!
