My name is Boston, and I am a 3 year old Cane Corso/Pittie mix. If I do say so myself, I am a very good looking dog. Luckily, I was rescued by Howard’s Haven Rescue and am currently being fostered Northern, CA. I’ve been doing well meeting some of the other dogs in boarding, so I could potentially do well with proper intros with well balanced dogs. I’ve also done well at the two adoption events that I’ve been to. I love to chill, lay down and get belly rubs! My name is Nova. I'm a sweet Cane Corso (with maybe a little something else mixed in) who was just rescued from the shelter and I'm looking for my fur-ever home or FOSTER! Meet Nemo! Nemo is a sweet Cane Corso.  He's super clumsy, he still has to get used to his long legs. He enjoys playing and exploring.  He does great in a crate and even sleeps all night long.   He knows how to use a doggy door.  He is completely housetrained.  He loves any and all toys.  He is super affectionate and loves cuddles.  Currently Nemo lives with a Chocolate Lab who he does well with.  He has met a cat but was too intimidated by her hisses.  He is working on simple commands but seems to be a fast learner. Puppy: up to 1 yr $450.00 Each of our dogs are fully vaccinated to include Bordetella, DHLPP and Rabies. We deworm each dog and chip. Lastly, we spay or neuter each of our dogs. Our adoption process includes an initial conversation about the dog to see if the dog is a good match or if another dog could be a more suitable match. We also will complete a home visit. Meet Sister! Sweet gentle girl who is looking for a bed to lay in and soak in some sun. She would love a home where she can run around and snuggle up with you! She does ok meeting dogs outside but should be the only dog in the household. Will also need a strong person to handle her on leash. Notes from a volunteer who took Sister out: Sister is a 2 years old, Mastiff, Cane Corso, with the most soulful eyes. We have taken her out several times now. Her first intro to my 2 small dogs, she seemed to want to charge up to them. With each meet, she has calmed down. She now walks along with them as if she has known them forever. From what I observed, she seems to get along best with dogs who are calm and respectful, not overly jumpy. Sister rides well in the car and is a good walker. She is very strong though and if she sees a squirrel, she is like a fast sports car going from 0-Fast very quickly. What works best for me when walking her is to be alert and hold onto her leash tightly. She loves sitting for treats. Treats are one sure way to her heart.

I am a female, black Cane Corso.The shelter staff think I am about 9 years old.I have been at the shelter since Jul 01, 2023.If you think I am your missing pet, please visit the shelter to positively identify me. Please bring proof of ownership such as pictures or vet records and your picture ID. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control.
