NOTE:Submit the adoption interest application directly at our HSNB website:https://www.hsnb.org/dog-adoption-applicationWe may not receive anything submitted through PetFinder or Adopt-A-Pet! If you do not receive confirmation from us, email adoptions@hsnb.org .-----Meet BOSA! ❤️ What a love! BOSA is a 1 1/2 year old Cane Corso with a lot of energy and a mind for curiosity. BOSA is still learning to walk on leash, and he does jump and pull, because he is just a puppy in a giant's body. He doesn't know "sit" yet but one volunteer discovered that if you gently rub the big guy from the back of his neck all the way down his back to his tailbone, he will sit for you, (almost) every time. BOSA will require an adopter with plenty of breed and training experience, because he's a sweet boy, but he's also a powerful breed. He needs a patient, confident, and active home that will dedicate time to positive-reinforcement training to help him channel his big puppy energy into becoming a well-mannered gentleman.Because BOSA is so new to the shelter, we will add more details as we get to know him better. But for today, BOSA just wanted to say, hello! Primary Color: Brown Brindle Weight: 70 Age: 1yrs 8mths 0wks

we would really love for them to stay together, or at the very least be able to stay in touch with one another. we understand that this is a long shot that is why we are offering support services, waved adoption fees if both are adopted together, free daycare days, boarding gift credit, and more to ensure these babies are able to stay together or close, thank you

Story
Blue is a great girl. She tends to act up with one of my other dogs, they are troublemakers together, they do not fight each other, but cause mischief. I have five kids, a couple of toddlers, she is very sweet with them, but for whatever reason she really dislikes my 15 year old boy, and constantly barks and barks at him, even though we tried having him walk her and still nothing. Wife wants my son to be able to come downstairs again without worry of the dog. These are the reasons for a re-home, Blue has not done anything crazy, but a change is needed. Blue would make a really good in/out dog. She loves to wrestle with a friend but also wants to chill on the couch or a lot of times under my desk. She is housetrained and roughly 10 months. Sleeps in my room every night. I can provide a dog bed and some food.

Story
Meet Borgart! Borgart is an 8-month-old Cane Corso puppy with a big heart, a big personality, and an even bigger future ahead of him. This handsome boy is looking for a forever home that understands giant breed puppies and is ready to invest in helping him become the incredible dog he`s meant to be. Borgart is a friendly, social young dog who enjoys being around people and is generally easy to handle. While he`s calm in his kennel, once he`s out and about, his puppy enthusiasm takes over! He loves exploring the world and is eager to interact with everything around him. Like many adolescent giant-breed dogs, Borgart hasn`t quite figured out how big he is. He can be excitable, pulls hard on leash, and sometimes gets so excited that he forgets his manners altogether. He`s still learning appropriate ways to interact with people and other dogs, and he`ll need a family committed to providing consistent training, structure, and guidance. Borgart has shown interest in other dogs but can be a little rude, and potentially overwhelming during introductions. Because of this, a dog-to-dog meet is required for any potential canine housemates. With proper training and management, he can continue learning appropriate social skills and become a much more polite playmate. As a Cane Corso, Borgart is not just a puppy—he`s a future giant breed companion who will need ongoing obedience training, socialization, and confident leadership. He`s goofy, energetic, and sometimes clueless about his own size—but underneath it all is a sweet dog looking for someone to help guide him through adolescence and into adulthood. If you`re ready for a loyal companion, Borgart could be the perfect addition to your family.

Story
Meet Toby! Toby is a big, lovable Cane Corso with a soft side and a goofy personality just waiting to shine. Originally adopted from us back in 2023 and recently returned as an owner surrender, Toby is now looking for a true forever home where he can settle in for good. At first, Toby can be a little shy when meeting new people, but he warms up nicely with a bit of patience. Once he feels comfortable, his fun, silly nature comes out, and you’ll see just how much personality this big guy has to offer. He’s easy to leash and walk, making him a great companion for daily outings. Toby has shown friendly, playful behavior with other dogs and would likely enjoy having a canine companion. Because of his large size, a dog-to-dog meet is required to ensure a good match. According to his previous adopter, Toby has also lived successfully with cats. Overall, Toby is a gentle giant who just needs a little time to come out of his shell. With the right home, he’ll be a loyal, affectionate, and entertaining companion. If you’re looking for a big goofball with a heart of gold, Toby might be your perfect match!
