Story
Raine is searching for her forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS ABOUT ME: This sweet mama has devoted herself to raising her adorable litter of puppies, and now she's ready to embrace all the joys of life as a beloved companion. Raine is looking forward to her new adventure and all the wonderful experiences that adoption brings! Raine's foster family reports that she's doing great on walks and will quickly master her leash manners in a training class. One of her standout traits is her talent as a trained retriever-she loves to play fetch and will happily drop the toy at your feet! Recently, she's taken on the role of soccer goalie, skillfully stopping squeaky balls from getting past her. When playtime wraps up, Raine enjoys burrowing under the covers, where she can completely disappear! This sweet girl has a special fondness for cheese and won't hesitate to remind you if she hasn't had her daily share. Raine is also getting comfortable in her crate, happily settling in whether the gate is open or closed when her foster is around. With a bit of patience and training, she'll soon feel at ease in her crate even when left alone. If you're looking for a loving and playful companion who's ready to fill your days with joy and snuggles, Raine is the perfect match for you! Come meet her and see how she can brighten your life! Please check out a video of Raine here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OyI8jKYmC30 -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. Story
Baby Rob is looking for his forever home! High-energy and playful, Rob loves to play with his toys and other dogs. He is sociable, but also independent and enjoys his "him time. However, Rob will always curl up with you and cuddle when it's time to nap. If you're looking for a curious and gentle pup with a little bit of puppy chaos, Rob would be the perfect match! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: He is such a sweetheart. So friendly and cuddly. He likes to play with toys and romp around. He is in a funny phase with his legs and has the cutest awkward trot. He is very good about sitting by the back when he needs to go to the bathroom. He's very curious and gentle. He's not super clingy but when he's ready for a nap he will lay and cuddle with you. Very treat motivated which is good. He knows sit, and we're working on touch and come. -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. Story
Bruno is a 4-year-old, 130-pound sweetheart who’s smart, affectionate, and deeply loyal. His size can be intimidating, but he’s genuinely friendly and has never shown aggressive behavior. He does get excited, especially on walks, so he needs a confident, experienced owner who understands large, strong dogs. He warms up quickly, though it’s best to introduce him to new people with a bit of awareness at first; once he’s familiar with someone, he’s incredibly gentle and loving. Bruno already knows several basic commands and responds well to structure and consistency. With the right, experienced handler, he has the potential to be an amazing best friend and thrive in a stable, attentive home.

Story
River is an old soul looking for his soulmate - could you be his person?  River had a tough start in life and came to PAW quite frightened of the world.  With the endless love and dedication of his foster family he has begun to feel secure - and to blossom.  Now he needs to find his forever home where a loving adopter will continue the process to help him to become the dog he is meant to be. River is a gentle giant.  At 2 & 1/2 and 70 pounds, he is a big fluffy love bug.  At first River can be anxious around new people and in new environments - but once warmed up, he loves people (including children) and other dogs. In fact, River must have another dog in the house as he follows the lead of his current foster brother and has learned so much from him! River loves running and playing in the yard.  Because he is still working on leash walking, River's forever home must have a fenced-in yard.  It will be important to continue leash training and exposure to new situations. This is the best way to build River's confidence and to teach him that the wide world is a fun place to explore!  River's daily medication helps calm him down, and this is something that his forever person will need to continue for River's benefit and comfort.  If you think you could be the one for River, apply to adopt today! PAW places animals in the DC, MD, northern VA, and southern PA area only. ##1836418##
