Story
Meet Leroy!Leroy is a charming and curious boy who came into our care as a stray, so his full history is a mystery-but his sweet personality shines through! While we haven't tested him with other cats in our care, we think Leroy would do well as the only cat in a home or he might also enjoy the company of a friendly resident cat if introductions are done slowly and gently.Leroy is ready to find a patient and caring adopter who will give him the love and time he deserves to settle into his new forever home.Do you think you could be Leroy's person? Here are some ways to find out:1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs. Story
Meet Mr. Feenie! 🐾Mr. Feenie came into our care through no fault of his own when his previous guardian could no longer care for him. Understandably shy at first, he just needed time, patience, and gentle reassurance to feel safe again. With love, this sweet boy has truly blossomed.Once he's comfortable, Mr. Feenie is an affectionate companion who will greet you with his signature silly, raspy meow and enthusiastic headbutts. He enjoys being brushed, seeks out companionship, and is happiest when he can be right by your side.Mr. Feenie has been diagnosed with stress cystitis. Because of this, he will need to remain on a urinary diet (Hills C/D or Royal Canin SO,) and continue his current medication while he settles into his new home, to help keep him comfortable and feeling his best. With a calm environment and a consistent routine, he is expected to do well.Mr. Feenie will need a cat-savvy adopter who understands feline body language and the importance of giving him time and space to adjust at his own pace. In return, he'll reward that understanding with steady companionship, gentle affection, and plenty of charming meows. 💙Do you think you could be Mr. Feenie's person? Here are some ways to find out: 1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or 2.)
