Story
Meet Yamaha! 🎶 Yamaha is an 11-week-old little boy who came into care with his sister, Steinway, along with an older kitten from a previous “oopsie” litter. Their guardian, feeling overwhelmed, made the loving choice to surrender the kittens and has committed to having mum spayed. Yamaha and Steinway were a bit underweight on arrival and have been thriving in foster care ever since. They’ve now reached their weight goals and are officially ready to find their forever homes! These two are nothing short of mischievous monkeys. If you blink, they’re climbing walls — literally. Yamaha is curious, determined, and endlessly playful, always looking for the next thing to conquer. He’ll do best with humans who can keep him entertained with plenty of toys, enrichment, and climbing opportunities. While we’d love to see Yamaha and Steinway adopted together, it’s not a requirement. As we adopt kittens in pairs, Yamaha must go home with another kitten or into a home that already has a well-matched kitten or friendly cat. If you’re ready for laughter, energy, and nonstop antics, Yamaha may be your perfect match!

Story
Meet Adoptable Klinker! This adorable kitten is full of charm and personality. Klinker is the slightly shyer half of her sister duo and loves having Camille by her side. We would be thrilled to see them adopted together—though it’s not required, as long as Klinker goes to a home with another kitten or a suitable young adult cat. Klinker is curious, playful, and enjoys engaging with her people once she feels ready. With her affectionate nature and sweet spirit, Klinker will make a wonderful addition to a loving home. Her people will need to be patient and allow her to acclimate to her new surroundings and human bi-peds at her own pace. We are sure she will continue to blossom into a confident kitten with love and patience. Submit an Adoption Application here: https://www.rapsbc.com/adopt/ Klinker is at the RAPS Adoption Centre at 3380 No 6 Rd, Richmond. We are open to visitors on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 - 4 PM. No appointment necessary. We recommend completing an adoption application first. Applications are reviewed by staff and successful candidates are contacted to set up a meet and greet. Meet and greets for successful applicants may be scheduled outside of regular visiting hours.

Story
Meet Ink & Blot – Professional House Panthers 🖤 Ink and Blot are 6-month-old bonded brothers and full-time fluffy shadows. With their shiny black coats and matching floof levels, they look SO identical that their foster mom still checks their eyes to figure out who’s who. Yes. Even after all this time. DNA testing may be next. They can be a little shy at first — you know, the whole “stranger danger but make it polite” vibe. But once they realize you are the bringer of food and wand toys, they transform into playful, ridiculous, lovable goofballs. Their résumé includes: 🎣 Wand Toy Olympic Athletes – Gold medalists in synchronized zoomies 📺 Chair-Based TV Critics – Enjoy sitting side-by-side watching cat games like tiny retired uncles 🍗 Chicken Detection Specialists – If you say the word “chicken” out loud, they will appear instantly. From nowhere. Like fluffy snack-seeking missiles. These two are obsessed with each other and do everything as a team playing, exploring, and hyping each other up for mild mischief. They’re closely bonded and must go home together, because life is simply better when you have a built-in best friend to cause chaos with. Ink and Blot came from the Langley site and have come such a long way learning that indoor life = safety, snacks, and furniture to sit on while judging birds through the window. They’re looking for a patient home that will give them a little time to settle… and then enjoy a lifetime of entertainment, fluff, and dramatic sprints into the kitchen whenever poultry is mentioned. Adopt Ink & Blot: twice the void, twice the fun, zero regrets. 🖤🖤 These babies are currently in home foster care. Get the ball rolling by completing an Adoption Application. Strong candidates will be contacted to arrange a meet and greet at their foster home.

Story
✨ Meet adoptable Mellow! ✨ This gorgeous boy is 23 weeks old and was surrendered alongside his brothers, Moon & Tiger, through no fault of their own. Their former guardian loved them deeply but was forced to downsize into a much smaller living space and could no longer afford their care. 🌙 If we’re asking for the moon, our dream would be for these three sweet brothers to find a forever home together. They are bonded, attached to one another, and truly thrive as a trio. Keeping them together would mean the world to us — and to them. If we cannot find an adopter to welcome all three, we will consider pairing two of them together and adopting the third with another kitten from our adoption centre or into a home that already has a well-matched kitten or cat and is looking for a friend. Note: We are testing to see if Tiger bonds with another kitten approved for adoption at the adoption centre, in hopes they'll be a good match and adopted as a pair. 💛 Mellow is inquisitive, mischievous, and super sweet. 💙 Moon may be a little nervous at first, but he warms up quickly and is a total love bug. 🧡 Tiger is a brave and affectionate boy who rounds out this perfect trio. If you have room in your heart and home for Mellow, Moon, and Tiger, you’ll be rewarded with triple the love, purrs, and companionship. 🐾 Mellow & Moon will be temporarily housed from Feb 11 in the afternoon at our adoption partner, Bosley's Queensborough at 805 Boyd St Unit N200, New Westminster - in the Queensborough Landing plaza. Feel free to visit them there!

Story
✨ Meet adoptable Emerald ✨ This precious boy is 6 months old and was rescued by our team during an ongoing operation at the “Commuter” Colony site, alongside Sapphire (now happily adopted!). Emerald is truly a gentle gem. 💚 He’s doing his very best to be brave, but the world still feels a little overwhelming right now. Beneath his shy exterior is the sweetest soul, full of love and tenderness. Emerald enjoys slow, respectful approaches and gentle pets—and he’s even open to being held softly in loving arms. 🌱 We know that inside his quiet shell is a confident, affectionate boy just waiting to shine. In the right home, Emerald’s confidence will continue to grow, and he’ll step into the king he’s destined to be. 🐾 We adopt kittens in pairs, so Emerald can either be matched with another kitten in our care or adopted into a home with a well-suited kitten or cat. 📍 Meet Emerald at our Adoption Centre on Saturdays or Sundays from 1–4 PM. 📄 We encourage potential adopters to complete an adoption application in advance. Strong applicants will be contacted to arrange a meet & greet, which may take place outside regular visiting hours.
