Story
Hello, I have been the foster mom for Mars for over a year. His mom was a stray when she came and decided to make my backyard her home while a few weeks pregnant. Mars was the only survivor of his mom's very first litter. He was born on Feb. 28 2025. He is incredibly energetic and loves LOVES to run outside. We built a catio in which we have his mom and a senior cat and he just loves to run and jump, you name it. Loves wet food (specifically salmon or tuna). Incredibly long and just again, super energetic. I would like him to go to a good home and looking for someone who has the patience and dedication for him as he does need some attention. He does NOT like to have his nails cut (FYI), but other than that, shots are up to date and can provide paperwork upon retrieval. I am willing to drive at a halfway point to drop him off. I am not in a neighborhood that has all the resources for Cat adoptions.

Story
Hello, I have been the foster mom for Mona (meaning doll or doll face in Spanish) for well over a year now. She came to us as a kitten because she looked like she had been given away and just left on the streets to wander. They say they choose you and not you who choose them. Mona got into street fights and came with a broken tail that looks old and well past the point of fixing so she runs funny. However, this little lady can jump, run, and climb. She is a lover of private space and treats. I would say she is very iffy about approaching her but I think that with time and familiarity, she can warm up to anyone. She has been a mom twice, lost her first litter minus one. And the second litter was fortunately given to good homes. We do not know when she was born, but she is roughly 2 years old. She is still young and would like to have someone experienced who needs company. However, since I am being deployed militarily, I can no longer take care of her.

Story
I found Kai as a stray when he was about 2 months old. He is going on 3 years old this year. He is very shy and skittish but once he warms up to you he will like to be in your vicinity and sit near you and occasionally get some pets. He doesn’t do good with kids as he gets scared easily. I have an older cat that he gets along with but he was raised with him as a baby so I don’t know if he will get along with another cat now that he is older. He loves catnip toys and dark corners. He is best suited for someone who doesn’t want a cuddly cat but a companion. He will watch tv with you.

Story
Miko is a super sweet cuddly cat that accepts belly rubs and being held. She is pretty skidish and tends to hide when there is a lot of commotion going on but loves to be pet at night and lay in bed with you. She likes looking out the window and curling up near a heater during the winter. The main and only reason we can no longer keep her is due to her peeing outside of her litter box. Our landlord did a walk recently and was complaining of the odor and demanded we get rid of the cat or lose the home. We hate to see her go but we can’t afford to move. She’s a loving cat that just needs someone with the time and space to be able to properly train or deal with her issue.

Story
Belle was found around 2020 as a very scared anxious cat, we took her in and slowly she began to warm up to us with time and patience. From what we could tell she had a little trouble adjusting to a kinder environment, All we ask is that someone with patience and love can show her the same kindness we once did. She is well with others as long as you give her the time to adjust and can be very loving when she is comfortable. With some trust is all she needs to want to stick to you always and be adorably clingy.

Story
I took in Vanna after she was found abandoned in a PetSmart in Lancaster CA (2024) and have had her since in my home with four other adult cats and two dogs. What we've come to realize is she would be happier as a single cat. She keeps herself isolated and is quiet, not destructive, but despite over a year of interventions, she hasn't gotten along with our other cats. Vanna is small and athletic, about 8 pounds and prefers dry food to wet. She is friendly with people once she's secure in her surroundings, fixed, microchipped, fully vaccinated and has no chronic health issues. She is used to being around big dogs, and will even curl up with them, but does not like other cats of any age.
