Willow is a 5 year old spayed female tabby cat that we rescued from the Castaic Shelter.  The owner had her since she was a kitten.  He siad she did not like other cats as when she was a kitten, she was attacked by adult cats.  She also does not like to be held.  The previous owner was goign to take her to the veterinarian. he picked her up to put her in the carrier and she bit him.  He put her in the carrier and took her to the shelter instead!  Willow is a funny creature. She likes being pet, but only on her terms. When she has had enough she will swat you.  her favorite thing is to cuddle with you on the bed and lounge on the couch. She prefers men over woman and definitely needs to be in a home with no other pets or children.  If you are a single male looking for a usually friendly, and sometimes temperamental cat that really need s home: willow is the one for you! ##1728545##

Christopher Robin is an 8-10 year old neutered male ginger cat that suddenly showed up in a feral colony in our neighborhood. He is very kind and gentle. He had a previous injury to his jaw which makes it difficult for him to open his mouth.  He can eat soft food. However, he could not be released back to the colony as he could not defend for himself or hunt. I do not think he minds! We are hoping to get him into a forever home where he can have peace and love. ##1728551##

Kai is an awesome little kitten who needs a home with another cat or kitten!  He is now almost 5 months old. He is getting very social with the adult cats he is living with and would love a home with another kitten to play with.  He was originally rescued from a feral cat colony. We took him in on February 19, 2024 as the person who trapped him could not keep him.  He is not feral, but he is scared.  he is getting better every day. he purrs when we pet him and cuddles with us on the bed. He loves to play!    With kitten season upon s, we need to get him a home so we can help the unweaned kittens for which we get lots of calls.  We can not until we have space!   He will do best in a quiet home with other friendly kittens or cats.  We do have a 10 month old kitten that also needs a home.  they would do great together! ##2011269##

Vivian was born to a feral mom and has one sister. Rosilee and one brother RoadRunner who were all trapped and we took them in together these three amigos steadfastlyt avoid human hands. UPDATE HAS TOTALLY CHANGED COURSE after her sister Rosalee had to have one of her Eyes removed and was recuperating in a kennel AND her brother was in a carrier to FINALLY get neutered after my roommate was able to lure him close with some kielbasa sausage and snatch him up!
