Cielo is a beautiful, loving cat who absolutely adores cuddles and attention. He’s the most affectionate cat we’ve ever had and loves being around people, often curling up on our chest to sleep. We rescued him as a baby and believe he may be part Maine Coon since he’s a large cat. He eats both dry and wet food and has been very sweet overall with our newborn baby. We love Cielo very much, but we’re looking for a new home because he can occasionally become aggressive when stressed. If he smells other pets or senses a threat, he may get agitated and puff up. With a new baby in a small apartment where we all share the same sleeping space, it’s difficult to guarantee separation during those moments.Cielo does best as the only pet and can be territorial with other animals. His ideal home would be a house with no babies or pets, and a family who plans to keep it that way. He is wonderful with adult humans and strangers and would thrive with someone who can give him lots of love and attention

Mandy came to the shelter when her person passed away. This chonky lady can be quite independent at times, but at other times appreciates company. She enjoys exploring her surroundings at her own pace. She`s never in much of a hurry for anything. Mandy doesn`t seem to like other cats, but she did coexist with 2 other cats in her previous home. She would do best in a home with an experienced cat owner - one who is willing to respect when Mandy wants attention and when she doesn`t. Mandy also needs someone willing to put her on a diet and exercise program. She will also need to be brushed on a regular basis until she loses a little weight and can groom herself properly.

Milo is a big boy who knows what he likes and isn`t afraid to let people know all about it. He loves to play and is good about entertaining himself if nobody is around. Milo is very affectionate and loves to be pet. If you`re not petting him, he`ll gladly head butt and rub against you. He has recently discovered being brushed and has decided he really, really enjoys it. When Milo gets overstimulated he will get mouthy, so he needs an experienced cat owner who will recognize the signs when Milo needs his alone time.

Blackie came to the shelter very scared and not sure what was going on. With some time to decompress and lots of attention from volunteers, he has turned into the sweetest little love bug. He adores being pet and will give head butts if you stop too soon. He even likes tummy rubs! Now that he`s gained some confidence Blackie has started showing an interest in playing. He shows an interest in his surroundings, but isn`t quite to the point where he wants to be in the middle of everything. He will probably take a little time to adjust to a new home, but once he settles in, he will no doubt rule over the house.
