Story
Chase is a great cat. He is 8 yrs old and has been an indoor only cat since he was a kitten. Lately he has become too aggressive with my female cats. I just feel that he needs to be in a single cat home.

Story
I found him wandering around our neighborhood and started feeding him out of worry. Overtime I got him to trust me slowly by feeding him and respecting his boundaries. That was almost a year ago and now he's very gentle and sweet. He's a young adult cat, but unfortunately at some point while we were caring for him, he lost his vision due to unknown circumstances. The vet told us we'd need to go to another vet who would charge hundreds of dollars just to find out what's wrong with his eyes, let alone treat it. We were at least able to get his rabies shots and find out that he's neutered, but sadly he didn't have a chip. He's a very mellow and sweet cat, enjoying pets and cuddling and doesn't seem to mind baths or trips to the vet. He's very chatty and will meow to let you know if he needs something. He's litter box trained though he may have some accidents from time to time due to his blindness. I hope he can find a patient, loving home that will give him the life he deserves.

Story
Mowgli has been waiting for a new home over a year now. He has a very unique personality! Mowgli is a very special and stunning boy! He was found in the San Bernardino Mountains 5 years ago when he showed up at someone's house skinny and wandering for weeks and then was adopted by a wonderful lady. Unfortunately, she cannot physically care for him anymore and he is looking for a new forever home. Mowgli is around 6 years old, 13 lbs., neutered, up to date on shots and micro chipped. We believe he is a British Shorthair/American Shorthair breed. He would do best as an only cat and only animal in the house. Because of his unique characteristics, he would also need a home with no kids. Mowgli is very sweet, playful, vocal, loves to be brushed and is an affectionate cat, but has a dominant side when he wants something or is done with attention. He tends to give love bites and scratches when he’s had enough. He feels bad afterward and is always trying to improve. He seems to be happiest when he is able to go outside in the yard. So being an inside/outside cat would make him happy as long as he is safe. He also has gone on walks on a leash. He is territorial and has gotten is some cat fights and is very strong. But please don’t let this scare you away. He wants to please, but in his way. Mowgli really is an amazing cat! Mowgli needs someone who understands cats, is experienced and patient. If this is you, please fill out our MHS Feline Adoption Application on our website.

Story
COURTESY POST: This handsome guy was found months ago and no owner has come forward. The kind lady who has been caring for him would like to find him a home so she has asked for our help. She has been calling him Taffy. We don’t know his age, but he seems young maybe 1-3 years old. He is not neutered yet, so that would be a requirement for the adopter to get done. We can help with a donation and information for other organizations that also donate. Taffy is a chatty and affectionate cat! He’s often underfoot because he likes to follow you around because he’s a curious kitty. He likes to be included, whether that be rubbing his face on you, or watching you from a perch. He knows his boundaries well and will tell you when he’s done being pet, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to hang out! Forehead scratches are his favorite and he loves making biscuits-especially when he’s drinking water! He's happier as an only cat and we do not know how he is with dogs. If you are interested in adopting Taffy, please fill out our courtesy post feline adoption application from our website. mountainshumanesociety.org
