Story
These 2 cats came from a homeless encampment, that were abandoned. They are about 1 year of age. Being long hair i wanted a better life than living a life strickly outdoors and uncared for. They were friendly and healthy, so I made an outdoor enclosure for them and have continued to work with them. I now allow them freedom outside the enclosure in my backyard. i have had them 2 -3 months, they are shy at first but have warmed up to other people as well. With some time and effort, they will make a wonderful indoor pets. They are spayed/neutered, litter box trained, have been dewormed, current flea control, vaccinated fvrcp and rabies. Blood text includes chemistry, cbc, felv, fiv, and corona. All normal and negative for viruses. I can brush them, trim their nails and pick them up. They have never scratched or bitten. I am looking for a better home than I can give. They want inside my home but i can't. They need to be adopted together. They are bonded to each other.

These 2 cats were abandoned from a homeless encampment. They were friendly , as you could pet them while feeding them. So i took them in and made an outdoor enclosure. Being long hair and friendly, I wanted to give them a better home then just being outdoor and uncared for. I now allow them access to being outside in my backyard. They are shy at first, but have warmed up to me and others. They are playful and want more attention then i can give. They have never bitten or scratched. I am able to pick them up and now they like being scratched being their ears. I am able to brush them and trim their nails. Besides being fixed, they have been vaccinated for fvrcp and rabies. Blood test include blood chemistry , cbc, felv, fiv and corona. All normal and negative for any viruses. They want to be indoors, which i can't. With a little time and effort they will make wonderful pets. I want to give them a better home than I can give them. I want the two cats Tess and Ash to be adopted together.

Story
Meet James – Your Future Furry Best Friend James is a strikingly handsome 4-year-old tuxedo cat with a heart as big as his personality. He came into our rescue as a tiny kitten in 2021, after being born to a feral mom in a rough colony. James had a tough start, and it took time, care, and patience to nurse him back to health. Because of his early struggles, he wasn’t ready for adoption until he was 6 months old. By then, he was a bit older and bigger than the typical kittens—and sadly, often overlooked. Now 5 years later, James is still patiently waiting for his forever home. But we believe the right person is out there, and we hope it might be you. James is a quiet soul who may take a little time to open up—but once he trusts you, you’ll discover the affectionate, playful cat hiding behind those golden eyes. He enjoys gentle cuddles (on his own terms, of course), loves rolling over for scratches, and will happily chat with you in soft meows when he wants attention. While he’s not a huge fan of being picked up, he absolutely adores playtime—especially with feather toys—and has even mastered the art of playing fetch! His love language? Snacks. Lots of them. Food is definitely the way to his heart. James is also comfortable in a harness, making him a great candidate for safe outdoor exploration or leash walks if you’re into that kind of adventure. He currently lives in a foster home with both cats and dogs. He’s indifferent to other cats and might even be coaxed into playtime with a fellow feline friend. Dogs, on the other hand, aren’t his cup of tea—he prefers to keep his distance. What James really needs is a calm, patient home where he can feel safe and loved as he adjusts at his own pace. If you’re someone who appreciates the quiet companionship of a loyal cat who will bond deeply once he’s ready—James could be your perfect match. If this beautiful boy has tugged at your heartstrings, don’t wait—reach out to us at heartandhomerescueorg@gmail.com or call/text 951-708-0626. James has been waiting long enough. Let’s help him find the forever family he deserves.

Story
Pebbles was born in the month of 5/25. She is a 4 lb., grey, domestic short hair tabby. She was found in the backyard of a house with her 2 siblings. This cutie is a little purr machine that loves to be around her person. She will follow you around and sit by your side ready to be pet. If she can’t find you, Pebbles will cry out and meow until you call her name and let her know where you are. She is very playful, likes other cats, does well with kids, and is somewhat familiar with dogs. She is current on her shots, spayed and microchipped. If you would like to know more about her email us at heartandhomerescueorg@gmail.com.
