Story
Meet Happy & Lucky – A Pair Looking for Their Forever Home 🖤💛 Happy and Lucky are beautiful black golden British Shorthair sisters, approximately 3 years and 10 months old, searching for a forever home preferably together after unexpectedly losing the only home they've ever known. While they have very different personalities, we believe the girls are bonded and are looking for a patient family willing to let them settle in at their own pace. Happy is the quieter, more reserved sister. She'll likely be the first to hide in a new environment and the last to come out, but with time and patience, her sweet personality begins to shine. She enjoys the occasional toy and prefers dry food, especially when her favorite person is nearby during mealtime. Lucky is the brave and curious explorer. She's usually the first to check out a new room and introduce herself to new people. While she's more outgoing, she still appreciates her personal space and will let you know when she's had enough attention. Lucky prefers wet food and typically eats one meal a day. Neither girl enjoys being picked up or sitting on laps. Instead, they're the kind of cats who show their affection by quietly sitting beside you once they've learned they can trust you. They also enjoy having their own space from both people and each other from time to time. Both girls love having fresh water available in both a fountain and a bowl. Their favorite foods are beef and chicken flavors, and they do not eat shrimp-based diets. Happy and Lucky are both spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and recently received a full veterinary checkup, including bloodwork, with a clean bill of health. Lucky does have a small cherry eye, but it has been evaluated by her veterinarian and does not affect her vision or comfort, so surgery is not recommended. These sisters may not be instant cuddle bugs, but for someone willing to earn their trust, they'll become quiet, loyal companions who make a house feel like home. They DO NOT get along with other cats, as they are the only company they have ever known. If you'd like to learn more about Happy and Lucky, please reach out to our rescue—we'd be happy to answer any questions!

Story
*A gentle blossom waiting to bloom* Meet Caviar (AKA Tomasita by her foster family), a gorgeous 8 month old black kitten with a name as unique and beautiful as her soul. While she may appear shy at first, Caviar has a quiet confidence that just needs a little time and love to truly shine. Think of her as a delicate flower that tames a while to unfurl its petals. When she arrives in a new environment, she'll likely observe from a safe distance, sussing things out with her big, inquisitive eyes. This isn't out of fear, but rather a thoughtful desire to understand her surrounding before she fully commits. The secret to winning her heart? Patience and a few well-placed treats! As she begins to trust you, you'll witness a heart-warming transformation. Her gentle "purr" motor will rumble to life, and she'll show you just how incredibly sweet and affectionate she can be. She's a silent sweetheart, preferring quiet cuddles to loud demands. Once she's comfortable, her playful spirit emerges! Caviar has a serious love for toys--anything that crinkles, rolls, or dangles will keep her entertained for hours. And like all self-respecting felines, she has a profound appreciation for a good cardboard box. Expect to find her tucked away, surveying her kingdom from the comfort of her favorite new box! She is a social butterfly in disguise. She truly thrives in the company of other cats. She feels much more confident with a feline friend by her side, so a home with a resident cat (or two!) would be absolutely perfect for her. She also seems to get along fine with dogs, showing no real interest in their antics. If you have a big heart, a gentle touch, and a little bit of patience, Caviar is waiting to fill your home with quiet joy. This special little kitten is a testament to the beautiful things that come with time and understanding.

Story
Hi there, I'm Toffee, an adorable 2-month-old tortoiseshell kitten with a striking black and orange coat! 🧡 I'm already litter box trained and naturally gentle and curious about the world around me — just a little shy at first, but I warm up quickly. I get along wonderfully with other cats, so I'd be a perfect addition to a multi-cat household or a great companion for a feline friend. My adoption fee is $100, and I'm ready to bring curiosity, sweetness, and purrs into your home! 😺
