Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old. RACHEL VALDEZ and 12 other relatives of hers were all dumped at a church in Whittier, California. These poor babies were left in the sun in a total of two carriers in front of a church. Needless to say, the rescue mama set course that day to pick them up. It took us 2 days to get them all to the rescue and to foster care. So RACHEL VALDEZ (named after the show: WYNONNA EARP) we believe was kept very well by whomever abandoned her. With all the tragedy that has happened to this young girl and her family, she deserves to have a wonderful home. She is now living a nice pampered life. RACHEL VALDEZ is a HUGE LUV BUG. When you pick her up, she will stay still and allow pets. You can see in her sweet little face, she is has the look of wanting love. But she also looks like she will be quite sassy. She loves to play by herself or any kitten. She does this cute little butt drop dance hen someone approaches her. She really loves to play with toys. She loves her can food and she will tell you all about it. She needs a real family that will love her like their own family member. **** RACHEL VALDEZ does have scratches on her cornea. We found her in our front lawn, attacked by some kind of animal. We rushed her to the vet. She has a huge scar under her fur. You cant see it at all. Meet VANESSA FISK, a beautiful DSH Calico mix from Hemet, California, whose essence is gentle resilience wrapped in a striking coat of white, orange, and black. VICTORIA and her 4 kittens (GROGU - EWOK - MUCHI-JAWA) were part of a huge TNR effort in Los Angeles County. The group TNRed all the adult cats and rescued moms with kittens. They went to a foster. Then we were asked to help get them good homes. Now Ms. VICTORIA is ready for her FUREVER home! Meet VICTORIA, a very sweet and vocal tortoiseshell cat with a personality as colorful as her coat. This chatty girl will make sure you know exactly what she's thinking with her various meows and trills. Don't be fooled by her soft and sugary disposition, though—VICTORIA can be a little feisty and sassy, especially when she's trying to get her point across. She absolutely thrives on human interaction and loves nothing more than getting a good chin scratch or a long pet session. While she adores attention, she can be a bit shy when meeting new people, so a quiet and patient introduction is best. When it comes to other cats, VICTORIA is a "queen bee" at heart. She's okay with other felines, but she definitely prefers to be the ruler of her castle. She needs a patient and easygoing cat companion who will respect her boundaries. Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old. PEPPER and LEO have had a rough life already. They were from a Lawndale colony of outdoor cats. The people are super nice. The trapper TNR’D 6 cats that were all adults. PEPPER and LEO were too small to return. They deserved a chance to be adopted. And the fact that they had 3 older siblings that were killed by the neighbors running them over was the reason we saved them.
