Godfrey Illinois, near St LouisMeet Kiki — A Sweet 10-Year-Old Looking for Love ❤️It breaks our hearts to rehome our beloved Kiki, but she deserves a peaceful, happy life.Kiki is 10 years old, affectionate, and loves being close to her people, especially curling up with me at night. She has pigmentation in one eye from melanin, which can occur naturally in cats. Her veterinary checkup was healthy.Unfortunately, Kiki has been displaced by the return of our adult children and their dogs. With so many dogs in the house, she spends nearly all her time in one room, afraid to venture out. She gets along with Rex, our dog, but hasn't adjusted to the others.We hope to find Kiki a quiet, preferably dog-free home where she can feel safe, explore freely, and enjoy being part of the family again. She deserves sunny spots to nap, rooms to roam, and someone to snuggle with at bedtime.Kiki is a sweet little companion with so much love to give. We want her next chapter to be as special as she is! ❤️

Meet Finn! Finn came to me as a tiny stray kitten in 2015, so he is about 10-11 years old - a handsome senior gentleman. He is a big, chunky boy with the most impressive fangs you have ever seen on a cat, but don't let them fool you: he is incredibly loving, gentle, and sweet. His favorite thing in the world is being near his person. Being honest about why he needs a new home: Finn has a chronic sensitive stomach. A vet has checked him and found no serious medical issue, but his stool is often soft and he sometimes doesn't make it to the litter box in time. It has become more than I can manage in my home. Finn would thrive in a home with hard floors or an easy-to-clean space, and a patient person willing to keep trying diets that might settle his stomach. He lives peacefully with other cats. This is a hard decision made with love. Finn deserves a soft landing for his senior years.

Henry is one of a small litter from a stray tabby mother we fed over the summer. She has since been fixed and adopted, but the kittens remain with us (living on the sunporch). He was named after the street he was born on in Alton, Illinois. Henry is mostly black with small white patches on his chest and tummy. He is a calmer and more thoughtful than his brother Duke, but more than willing to play and wrestle. Although born outside and untrusting of people at first, he now comes to me when called and loves to be petted. Henry currently eats dry Kitten Chow, is flea free and litter box trained. While he is very curious of my orange tabby cat, who constantly spies on the boys through the window in the door, I feel he would do best as an only pet or adopted with his brother, Duke.

Duke is one of a small litter from a stray mother we fed over the summer. She has since been fixed and adopted by a neighbor. He was named for a well known bakery nearby. His very shiny hair is black with just a hint of white at the nape of his neck. Duke is rambunctious and always willing to play with his brother, Henry, but quick to jump up and start 'making biscuits' (while he purrs like a motorboat) on me as soon as I sit down. He is currently living with Henry on my sunporch. Both boys eat dry Kitten Chow, are completely flea free and litter box trained. Being the braver of the 2, Duke warmed up quickly to me and may do well with other pets in the home. Like Henry, he loves interacting with my big, nosy orange tabby through the window on the door separating them.
