Pepsi NKA Ivy came to AHeinz57 as a pregnant stray. During her months here she never became social and was moved to our barn cat program, where she was provided a barn home with food, water, shelter, vet care and kitty friends. Apparently she missed home as she took off and was found three months later in the area she was originally caught. She was hungry, matted and flea ridden. After a few weeks at a foster home she became a total love bug, sticking to her foster mom like Velcro and showing no desire to go back outside.Ivy is still initially shy with new people but her eventual over-the-top affection and devotion is worth the wait!If you are interested in meeting Ivy, the first step in our process is to fill out an adoption application. Bubby is a sweet affectionate boy with a cute little meow. He is obsessed with getting pets and butt scratches and is a playful curious boy once he gets comfortable. He’s pretty jumpy/easy to scare— he’s been this way since he was a stray kitty I found roaming around my apartment back in 2022. He is a wobbly cat who can’t really move like most cats. He can’t jump very high, doesn’t like heights, stomps instead of strolls, and tends to fall over quite a bit. He’s very strong and happy— he’s used to being clumsy and doesn’t even react when he has his moments! He doesn’t require much additional care, just be aware that he needs to be able to climb things instead of jumping for the most part, he needs a large covered litter box, and things like cat trees may need to be adjusted so that he has adequate space to balance himself. He’s also a very greedy boy! He has 0 behavioral issues and is a wonderful pet— I just can’t give him the time and attention he needs anymore unfortunately. Age: 4

Flik is a ten-year-old, female cat who has Feline Herpesvirus. We have tried L-Lysine and other treatments, but she still has daily sneezing and eye watering. She is an independent cat who only wants attention on her own accord. She really keeps to herself and is not an aggressor by any means. She will only get defensive if approached when she doesn’t want to be. She gets quite stressed when going to the vets, so she hasn’t been in a few years. This was a hard decision to rehome her, but we have run out of options.
