Pepsi NKA Ivy came to AHeinz57 as a pregnant stray. During her months here she never became social and was moved to our barn cat program, where she was provided a barn home with food, water, shelter, vet care and kitty friends. Apparently she missed home as she took off and was found three months later in the area she was originally caught. She was hungry, matted and flea ridden. After a few weeks at a foster home she became a total love bug, sticking to her foster mom like Velcro and showing no desire to go back outside.Ivy is still initially shy with new people but her eventual over-the-top affection and devotion is worth the wait!If you are interested in meeting Ivy, the first step in our process is to fill out an adoption application. She is an indoor cat and is very clean and well cared for.Misty is great with kids and babies. She’s a quiet, independent little girl who mostly keeps to herself, but once she feels comfortable, she absolutely loves to cuddle. She can be a little shy and is definitely a scaredy-cat at first, so she may need some time to warm up to a new person and new surroundings.She loves sitting by windows, relaxing, getting cuddles, and of course getting her favorite snacks! 🥰 She also enjoys spending a little time on a balcony while supervised.

Bella is 3 years old. She was born on Mother’s Day in 2023. She is sweet but she is very much a on her own terms cat. She will sit in your lap, but doesn’t usually want pets while she’s there. She loves head pets, but nowhere else on her body. I’d describe her as a sour patch cat. She is litter box trained, is not a picky eater, and gives kisses. We do have other cats, but she seems to like to bully them, so being an only cat may be best. I would suggest not having her around small children either.

Rex is a healthy 12 year-old "Russian Blue" cat...with six toes like Ernest Hemingway's cats! A good mouser. Likes to cuddle in bed at night. Low maintenance: doesn't demand attention. He was happy for 9 years when I lived by myself, then I moved in with a new partner who has a laborador retriever who Rex doesn't get along with. He has been unhappy ever since, so we are seeking a new, caring owner. He would be so happy to have a new kingdom all to himself.
