Pepsi NKA Ivy came to AHeinz57 as a pregnant stray. During her months here she never became social and was moved to our barn cat program, where she was provided a barn home with food, water, shelter, vet care and kitty friends. Apparently she missed home as she took off and was found three months later in the area she was originally caught. She was hungry, matted and flea ridden. After a few weeks at a foster home she became a total love bug, sticking to her foster mom like Velcro and showing no desire to go back outside.Ivy is still initially shy with new people but her eventual over-the-top affection and devotion is worth the wait!If you are interested in meeting Ivy, the first step in our process is to fill out an adoption application. Story

Binx came to us through the cat distribution center about two years ago. It was a cold March day and she ended up in our fenced in backyard somehow yelling at our back door. We fed her and pet her but she was reluctant to trust. Eventually it was going to be a late spring snow storm so we decided to bring her inside. We already had three other cats and thought it would be crazy to keep a fourth. So I had her as a shop cat at the metaphysical shop I managed. Eventually the buisness had to close and we could not find her a home. At this point I was very attached to her so we tried to make it work with 4 cats. Binx has never gotten along with any of the other cats. She does ok with dogs but I believe she needs to be a home that she is the main focus. She takes a very long time to trust people but when she does she is so sweet. We love her so dearly but we have tried everything to make her and our other pets happy such as pheromones, calming collars, and anxiety meds but it is sadly time.

Story

Brewspurr (Brews) is a nearly 7 year old black cat with one eye. He is an especially cuddly and affectionate boy, and really likes people. He is a very active cat and loves a good feather to chase, a fuzzy mouse to throw around the house, or just a good dustball that was kicked up into the air. We adopted Brews from an animal shelter when he was a few months old and have had him since. We are looking to rehome him due to needing to meet his needs and the needs of our other pets. We have always had 2 older cats, and he has not gotten along well with one of them. Brews is quite sensitive to the atmosphere of the home. He has anxiety that he is medicated for, and this anxiety stems from his issues with the older cat. His anxiety can cause urinary cystitis, that has been well-manages with special diet. However, as the other cats age and have more medical issues, his health and well-being seem to deteriorate as well. He would be best suited in a one cat home.

Bubby is a sweet affectionate boy with a cute little meow. He is obsessed with getting pets and butt scratches and is a playful curious boy once he gets comfortable (or after you've given him a few pieces of chicken). He is fearful but becomes extremely loving once he becomes familiar with you. He is also very clumsy! He has 0 behavioral issues and is a wonderful pet-- I'm just moving + starting a new job and can't give him the time and attention he needs anymore unfortunately. Age: 4

Chapo Kiki came to me as Chapo yes I had a hard time saying Chapo and I only have had girls n the past so he is she and is my Kiki or sometimes it is just Key or Mama baby I know but honestly she has no problem and neither do or did I I have started watching my grandkids and honestly just cant do it all I have both of them everyday I am 53 and cant do it all plus only have had her for like 3 months and I figure the sooner the better She is a absolute Beautiful Baby I received him they said they received him from arl as a kitten and I got him from this site so I never went to vet so dont exactly know anything for sure... Kona is looking for someone with lots of patience and lots of love to give him! Before he was brought to us Kona was found living in the woods and eventually the house he was living under had caught fire. He can be pretty shy at first, but after he becomes comfortable he's a total lover! He's still learning that not all people are scary (who can blame him?). Kona likes to be around other cats and will gladly share his food, toys and bed with them. Playtime with toys on sticks especially if they're strings dangling on the end is his favorite! If he let's you pet & scratch him behind his ears and he will purr with delight. Stop by the shelter anytime we are open to meet Kona!
