I'm a little cat with a big personality! I arrived at HOPE after having to be surrendered by the family that took me in after I was kicked out of my home. They loved me but I really didn't like their current cats. Most the lobby cat's here at the shelter annoy me a lot too, so I would prefer to be your only one. Other than that, I absolutely love people. I'm always ready for any kind of attention you give me. When I first got to the shelter I was a bit stressed and grouchy. So I may need a few days in your home to adjust before I'm ready for all that love, but I will get there quickly!

Hi there, I'm Baby Boy. I was surrendered to HOPE when my owner was unfortunately moved into assisted living after months in the ICU. Her daughters took care of me and my 5 roomies but it couldn't last long term. We were all very, very loved though! I'm a shy guy, that's just how I've always been. I am the more confident of my siblings Gracie and Blackie, though. Our Mama Kitty is a little shy too. I'd probably do best in a calm home with a nice quiet place to adjust. It'll take some time but I would totally repay your patience with love as soon as I'm warmed up! I've always been sweet for the people here at the shelter.

On a cold day, in negative 0 temps and a snow storm, I was found outside by a family who was worried that I wasn't going to make it much longer. They brought me inside and started contacting shelters so I could find my forever, indoor, home. Then I came to HOPE! With how I was found and how cold it still was outside, they determined I needed a nice, warm name and dubbed me Soup. As Soup, I have been the ultimate sweetheart, always ready to say hi to people that pass by me and lean into any affection I'm given. I'm a curious guy that wanders the lobby while my cage is being cleaned but the folks here think I will probably be a bit of a couch potato in my new home. Ha, potato soup!

Meet Dusty Dusty is about 6-8 months old. He and Portia came into the shelter a couple months ago (we called them Calvin and Hobbes back then when their eyes were bugging out) and went into a foster home right away to begin socialization, and wow, they have really transformed into lovely cats. They are now back at the shelter ready to find their forever homes. Dusty is the more outgoing and confident of the duo. He's super friendly and so handsome. He's ready to live a big, cushy life with someone who adores him. Portia is still reserved, being more of a hider, but she enjoys being petted and would do well in a quiet home or with someone who doesn't expect her to be a "greeter" kitty.
