Story
Meet Yoruichi & Niko – The Perfect Balance of Sass and Sweetness  Yoruichi and Niko are two 5-year-old besties who bring out the very best in each other — and in their humans, too! Yoruichi is a stunning 10.2 lb black “locket” girl with a personality that blossoms beautifully once she feels safe. She can be a little shy and sassy at first (she likes to keep you guessing, but give her a little time and patience and she will turn into the sweetest, chattiest, most affectionate companion you could ask for. Once you’re officially in her circle, expect: • Lap time complete with expert-level air biscuits • A shadow who follows you around the house • Gentle demands for you to lower your hand so she can pet herself on it • Snuggles galore — including being held like a baby (her favorite!) • Loving grooming sessions for her chosen people She bonds deeply and loves hard — you just have to earn it first. Niko, her 10 lb tabby counterpart, is a laid-back sweetheart whose two main love languages are food and play. He’s a quiet guy and rarely meows (unless snacks are involved), but his motor is always running — he purrs the second you touch him and keeps going like a tiny fuzzy engine. Niko may be timid at first, but he warms up quickly — especially if treats help make the introduction. Once comfortable, he’s a total cuddle bug who: • Loves climbing high on cat trees • Can nap through just about anything • Will happily melt into your arms for a hug • Occasionally perches on your shoulder like the world’s cutest parrot Together, Yoruichi and Niko make a wonderful mix of playful energy and devoted affection. They balance each other beautifully and will thrive in a home that gives them a little time to settle in and show their true, loving selves. Both are spayed/neutered Up to date on vaccinations Microchipped and ready for their forever home If you’re looking for a pair that will fill your home with purrs, personality, and plenty of snuggles, Yoruichi and Niko are waiting to meet you!  March 1, 2026, 6:17 pm

Story
Meet Lily & Juniper – Double the Love, Double the Purrs  Lily and Juniper are a bonded pair of 6-year-old best friends who are ready to bring warmth, cuddles, and personality into their forever home. Lily (11.5 lbs, beautiful cream buff girl) is the chatty one of the pair. She has opinions, stories, and the occasional announcement to share — and we love her for it! Lily can take a little time to warm up in a new environment, but once she feels safe, she shows her sweet and gentle nature. She enjoys being near her people and will happily settle in for cozy downtime once she’s comfortable. Lily does have a slightly watery left eye, but it causes her no issues and doesn’t slow her down one bit. Juniper (affectionately called “June”) is a lovely tortoiseshell sweetheart who lives for snuggles and attention. She’s a petite girl at around 13 pounds and absolutely adores affection from her humans. June is happiest curled up with you or cuddled next to Lily for a nap. June has been monitored by a vet and is overall doing well. She had elevated kidney levels several years ago that have remained normal for the past four years. At her recent vet visit (1/15), she had mildly elevated liver enzymes and is currently on a short course of medication. Her vet is not overly concerned and feels this may be temporary, but she will need follow-up bloodwork in a few weeks to recheck her levels. She’s otherwise feeling good and enjoying life as usual. Together, these girls: • Are good with other cats and dogs • Have perfect litter box manners • Love to run, play, and explore the house together • Snuggle each other just as much as they snuggle their humans They balance each other beautifully — Lily brings the conversation, June brings the cuddles, and together they bring a whole lot of love. Spayed Up to date on vaccinations Litter box trained and well-mannered house cats If you’re looking for a bonded pair with sweet personalities, playful moments, and lots of cozy couch time, Lily and Juniper are ready to meet you.March 1, 2026, 6:17 pm

Story
COURTESY POST * This animal is not physically in LTR care, they continue to live with the owner. * The adoption/application process is the same for these dogs/cats as any other dog/cat in our rescue. * LTR has not evaluated this pet. * All personality information is provided by the owner and is assumed to be honest and accurate. * The adoption fee/donation for helping rehome the pet is the same as LTR establishes fees. Meet Smokey--a male domestic shorthair who is about 2 years old. He currently weighs 12lbs. Smokey was found as a stray and fully vetted by his finder--however, his finder's two cats do not like sharing their home. So, Smokey needs a new home. He does have a sensitive belly and skin. Atopica helps his skin and probiotics with belly. Smokey is very sweet. He is very playful and good at entertaining himself. He would do best in a home without young children as he is a play biter--he does not leave marks, but something that would scare little kids. His atopica is a daily medication as is the probiotic. It is the hope he will come off both of these meds with routine vet care & nutrition. He is neutered, up to date on shots, fiv/felv negative, and ready for a new home! January 19, 2026, 1:24 pm
