Story
Ducky — The RustColored Wonder With a One of a Kind Paw (Ready for Adoption!) Ducky is one of the most unique kittens to come through rescue — in both looks and story. His coat is a captivating rust color, not the typical orange tabby, and his markings are striking. On his back right paw, what looked like soot or dirt turned out to be a natural patch of black brushed fur. Its rare, beautiful, and makes him instantly recognizable. Personality: Ducky is a healthy, playful, affectionate young cat who loves snuggles, toys, and spending time with his humans. Hes social, sweet, and full of kitten energy. You would never know he has any physical differences — he runs, plays, jumps, and wrestles just like every other kitten. His Unique Anatomy: Ducky was born without femoral ball joints, and his kneecaps are underdeveloped. Despite this, he is completely healthy, fully mobile, extremely playful, and showing zero current limitations. Longterm outcomes are unknown — he may simply remain slightly shorter or have a unique gait. Right now, he is thriving. His hips are easy to shift, not because they dislocate, but because the joint structure is different. This means he needs gentle handling, especially from children. Social Behavior: Ducky is wonderfully social and has been raised with Saint Bernards, a Maltipoo, a Pomsky, multiple foster cats, and resident cats. He is dogfriendly, catfriendly, and loves having playmates. He would do well in almost any home as long as gentle hands are guaranteed. Ideal Home: Ducky will thrive in a home that: - Provides gentle handling - Appreciates his uniqueness - Offers playtime, enrichment, and affection - Has respectful children or adults - May include other cats or dogs Every home is an option — application approval will depend on understanding his gentlehandling needs. Ready for Adoption: Ducky is fully vetted and ready to go home now. Dont pass up this boy because of his small differences — he is strong, joyful, loving, and truly oneofakind. If youre interested, please fill out an application. HART recommends kittens 6 months of age and younger be adopted in pairs. If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer. All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.

Story
Lily is a beautiful 1 year old Domestic Shorthair brown tabby with soft tiger stripes and a gentle soul to match. She, her sister Tiger, and their mom were found as strays in Ross, Ohio. It took a little time for her to feel safe in foster care, but once she did, she truly blossomed. Lily is the quieter, shy sister and such a sweet companion. She is happy to let Tiger be the bold one, but she still enjoys affection and loves gentle pets once she feels comfortable. She prefers to take her time getting to know her surroundings and her people, and then her loving personality really shines. Tiger and Lily are purrfect friends and balance each other beautifully. They thrive in a calm, quiet home without lots of noise and would do best without small children. They would absolutely love to be adopted together and continue their journey side by side in a forever home. If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer. Story
Daylin has been in foster care for quite some time, quietly waiting for her forever person. She arrived with two outgoing brothers who were adopted quickly—but Daylin is a tender-hearted girl who takes her time learning to trust. Every day, she grows a little braver, a little more curious, and a little more open to love. She’s wonderful with other cats—playful, affectionate, and often seen chasing toys or softly meowing when she’s looking for her foster siblings. Her voice is gentle, her spirit is kind, and her heart is ready for someone who understands the beauty of patience. Daylin would thrive in a calm, cat-savvy home with a feline companion and a human who’s willing to let her blossom at her own pace. She’s not fond of small children, but she’s perfect for someone who values quiet companionship and the joy of earning a shy cat’s trust. Daylin may not leap into your lap on day one—but give her your heart, and she’ll give you hers.If you’re ready to meet this gentle girl and offer her the loving home she deserves, please reach out. All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative. Story
Rozamund Kittington A True Survivor With a Heart of Gold Meet Rozamund Kittington, a stunning 6 year old survivor with a story as remarkable as her name. Originally rescued from euthanasia as a kitten, Rozamund grew up deeply loved and well cared for by her former family. During her time with them, she faced a major health scare that required part of her tail to be removed, but this brave girl handled it with grace and came out stronger than ever. Her shortened tail is now her signature feature, a reminder of her resilience and her bright future ahead. Rozamund is affectionate, loyal, and ready to devote herself to a new family. She loves interacting with her people and proudly shows off her adorable circus cat trick sitting up on her hind legs while pawing at the air or batting at toys with impressive balance and enthusiasm. She's playful, expressive, and full of personality. This beautiful girl is healthy, thriving, and eager to start her next chapter. If you're looking for a companion with a survivors spirit and a heart full of love, Rozamund Kittington is ready to meet you. Story
Meet Dixie Rose — A Stunning Calico With a Gentle Spark Dixie Rose has been in rescue far too long for how beautiful and special she is. Born around April 28, 2025, this gorgeous calico was found dumped and alone until a Good Samaritan reached out to HART for help. She arrived skinny, scared, and not in the best health — but with love and proper care, she has blossomed into a healthy, confident young cat. Now spayed, fully vaccinated, and thriving in her foster home, Dixie Rose is ready for her forever family. Dixie is the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. She loves curling up on your lap, hanging out nearby, and being part of your quiet moments. She also enjoys running and playing with her foster siblings and spending time on the cat tree watching birds and squirrels. Because Dixie Rose has never been introduced to dogs or small children, she will do best in a home with: - Children over 12, who can respect her boundaries - A calm, respectful dog only if the dog gives her space and time to adjust - Slow, patient introductions to any new animals - Her own safe space where she can retreat and decompress She gets along well with other cats and will thrive in a home where she has a friendly feline companion. After everything she’s been through, Dixie Rose deserves a home that will give her patience, love, and the security she never had before. If you’re looking for a beautiful, affectionate cat with personality and heart, Dixie Rose is waiting. All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.
