Story
Sweet laid back girl, mother of 3 kittens, who has lived in a trailer park all her life, often outside, and never wanted. She has tested positive for FIV but, although she is listed as special needs, she actually has NO special needs - FIV is neither a life threatening nor a life changing condition. Cloud is low maintenance (uses litter box with no scattering, uses scratching box, plays without being destructive and is very loving without smothering you). And she likes to sleep with you. All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative. If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer. Thanks!

Story
Reggie is searching for his forever home. He is well mannered and curious. He is nervous around new people and will scare easily. However once used to you he will come around and seek attention and pets. He will approach with caution but once he trusts you, he will head butt and want ear scratches. He absolutely loves other cats so he should be adopted into another cat household. He also enjoys treats and will interactively play with you and a dangly toy. He does not like to be picked up or placed in a cat carrier. A quiet adult only home would be preferred. All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative. Story
Lucille was found as a stray. Not sure how this sweet girl ended up on the streets but she was desperately trying to get into someone's house, she knows life is better off the streets! She is a super sweet girl, very affectionate and ready for her home. She tolerates other nice kitties but may be happiest being the center of attention. All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative. Story
I am a survivor! Moe came to his foster home with two of his siblings - was adopted out but returned due to no fault of his own. He was diagnosed in April with FIP- which is typically fatal in young cats. Luckily for Moe he had wonderful people from the HART team who were willing to give him the care and medications needed. For 3 months he received an experimental treatment that was able to cure his FIP. He has been patiently waiting another 3 months to make sure he was truly cured- and he is! Moe is a gentle cat- he has a lovely loud purr and prefers to sit next to you on the couch and in bed. He enjoys playing a game of fetch and gets along well with other foster cats. He does not like dogs and would do best in a quiet adult home. He also enjoys treat time and of course breakfast (when he gets wet food). He's a lovely calm boy who deserves a special home. All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative. Story
This gorgeous girl was trapped as a kitten along with her siblings. It's been a little bit of a journey to get her to trust humans, but as soon as she know she's safe, she is an absolute lovebug with a great purr-motor! She loves to play, she loves other kitties. She would love to be adopted with one of her siblings. (Dallis, Domino, Dreyfus). Because of our rescue efforts, she has a life away from the outdoor elements, predators, pest, and recurring bouts of hunger and thirst. Now she needs her forever home. If you're looking for a kitty that's not only gorgeous but super sweet and affectionate, Dazzle would be your baby. She will do best in a home that relatively quiet. All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative. Story
Hi my name is Kimmy and this is my story I'm approximately between 2 and 3 years old. Dilute Calico that showed up on my foster mom's property back in May of 2022. Since my foster mom lives on a rather large property, there are always ferals, stray and abandoned cats showing up. So to stop the population she started trapping and releasing when she moved in in April of 2021. When she trapped me I was very feral and really did not want to be touched by anybody. She took me to OAR to be spayed and to get my rabies and when she released me I took off and didn't show my face around for quite a while because I was so scared. Well then one day I noticed the other feral cats took a liking to my foster mom because she always brought them food. So I decided that I would follow their lead and soon enough I became friendly enough with her that she was able to carry me in and put me in a medical kennel because I had an upper respiratory infection that she wanted to treat. To make a long story short, I appreciated everything she did for me. She brought me food and medicine for my cough 😷 My cough has been ongoing with nothing in my lungs, just known as a little laryngitis. So I may sound a little raspy at times, but this is nothing to worry about. My foster mommy sprinkles lysine on my dry food for immune health. Catnip has taught me how to play with my toys and I do love playing. I was chase any toy however balls and birdies on a string are my favorite. I've now been fully vetted meaning I'm up to date on all my shots, microchipped combo tested vaccinated and spayed and I am ready for my fresh start with my forever family. I do not mind other cats as long as they are submissive but I've never been around dogs so I don't know if I like them or not, I think kids would be okay as long as they were gentle and didn't scare me and let me get used to the new noises and surroundings that I would be moving into. The one thing I can tell you is that I am deserving of love and I will be forever be grateful to live my life out in a home with a new family. It just might take me a little bit of time because I've lived outside my whole life but one thing I can promise you. Once I build my trust, I will forever and ever be by your side. If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer. Thanks!
