Story
Meet George! George is a male black and white kitty and approximately 1 year old. George came in from Kentucky as part of a feral cat colony when he ended up struggling with botulism toxicity. Fortunately, we were able to push hard and save his life! Once George gets to know you, he will absolutely love you. And he'll make sure that he gets the attention from you that he knows he deserves. We feel like he will do best in a quiet home and would also do well with other cat loving cats. All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative. If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer.

Story
Daylin has been in foster care for quite some time, quietly waiting for her forever person. She arrived with two outgoing brothers who were adopted quickly—but Daylin is a tender-hearted girl who takes her time learning to trust. Every day, she grows a little braver, a little more curious, and a little more open to love. She’s wonderful with other cats—playful, affectionate, and often seen chasing toys or softly meowing when she’s looking for her foster siblings. Her voice is gentle, her spirit is kind, and her heart is ready for someone who understands the beauty of patience. Daylin would thrive in a calm, cat-savvy home with a feline companion and a human who’s willing to let her blossom at her own pace. She’s not fond of small children, but she’s perfect for someone who values quiet companionship and the joy of earning a shy cat’s trust. Daylin may not leap into your lap on day one—but give her your heart, and she’ll give you hers.If you’re ready to meet this gentle girl and offer her the loving home she deserves, please reach out. Story
Meet Dixie Rose — A Stunning Calico With a Gentle Spark Dixie Rose has been in rescue far too long for how beautiful and special she is. Born around April 28, 2025, this gorgeous calico was found dumped and alone until a Good Samaritan reached out to HART for help. She arrived skinny, scared, and not in the best health — but with love and proper care, she has blossomed into a healthy, confident young cat. Now spayed, fully vaccinated, and thriving in her foster home, Dixie Rose is ready for her forever family. Dixie is the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. She loves curling up on your lap, hanging out nearby, and being part of your quiet moments. She also enjoys running and playing with her foster siblings and spending time on the cat tree watching birds and squirrels. Because Dixie Rose has never been introduced to dogs or small children, she will do best in a home with: - Children over 12, who can respect her boundaries - A calm, respectful dog only if the dog gives her space and time to adjust - Slow, patient introductions to any new animals - Her own safe space where she can retreat and decompress She gets along well with other cats and will thrive in a home where she has a friendly feline companion. After everything she’s been through, Dixie Rose deserves a home that will give her patience, love, and the security she never had before. If you’re looking for a beautiful, affectionate cat with personality and heart, Dixie Rose is waiting. Story
Hi, I’m Misha! I was found abandoned at a car lot and brought to HART as a young kitten. I’m a one year old tuxedo female with the cutest black dot on my nose. I’m still learning to trust people, but I LOVE other cats, especially bigger ones that I can curl up with, or smaller ones that I can play with. I’ve made a lot of progress with my foster family, but my forever family will need to be patient with me. There are a couple people in my foster family that I trust completely, and I’m happy to let them pet me or pick me up. Sometimes I get scared and run away, but I ALWAYS come back out when I hear my food being poured! I would love to be adopted into a house with other cats/kittens. If you don’t already have one at home I have some younger friends from my foster home that I can recommend! Thanks!

Story
Meet Clementine! Clementine’s mom Honeydew came to HART when she was very close to giving birth. Clementine was born in her foster home on March 22nd, 2025 and is one of 7 kittens! Clementine is an affectionate, playful, fun kitten! She loves to be with people and curl up in their lap or in a small space near them. She is very playful with her siblings and her foster family. Clementine is a very easygoing kitten and is good for nail trims, brushing, or any other care that she needs. Clementine is good with other cats and seems fine with the big dog she currently lives with. She’s done well with all the children she’s met from ages 5-17. Kittens do better in pairs and she would love to go home with one of her siblings! Clementine would be a great addition to any family! HART recommends kittens 6 months of age and younger be adopted in pairs. All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative. Story
Taffy is a 6-month-old spayed female (born April 22, 2025) who earned her name from the pretty swirls in her coat—her siblings, Skittles and Twizzler, were also named after candy! The trio was found on a farm in Oxford near some hay bales, with no mom in sight. Taffy is a sweet and affectionate girl who loves climbing into your lap, where her purr motor starts up right away. She enjoys playing with crinkle balls and spring toys, and while she’s had a few minor upper respiratory and eye infections in the past, she’s currently healthy and thriving. Taffy gets along well with other cats, kittens, dogs, and children. She loves her Purina One dry food and Fancy Feast wet food and is ready to join your family as your forever kitty. HART recommends kittens 6 months of age and younger be adopted in pairs. All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.
