Kai is a gentle, affectionate, and exceptionally well-mannered cat who is looking for a loving new home. He is fully house-trained and has an easygoing personality that makes him a joy to have around. He gets along wonderfully with both people and other pets, and he warms up quickly to anyone—especially if there’s a treat involved. Kai enjoys playtime, but he’s just as happy being near his humans and soaking up attention when it’s offered. We are rehoming him due to an upcoming move and a recent change in our family after having a baby, and it’s a very hard decision for us. We love him very much and truly want him to go to a safe, caring home where he will be cherished. From someone who grew up with cats, I can honestly say he is the most well-behaved cat I’ve ever had. He is calm, sweet, and incredibly easy to live with. Our hope is to find Kai a home where he will receive plenty of love, time, and attention, which he truly deserves.

Meet Peggy!Peggy came to us as a stray with an old injury to her right rear leg. This injury left her with only half of her leg-- everything below her `knee` was missing. Although the injury seemed old and healed, we could tell that walking was uncomfortable for Peggy. Our medical team decided that the best option was total amputation of her back right leg.Right now, Peggy is healing well! With her personality and attitude, you`d never guess she`d just had major surgery unless you saw the incision! To allow the incision to heal correctly our veterinarian had to leave the site open, which may look daunting, but Peggy does a great job of leaving it alone as long as her cone stays on. Now, Peggy is just waiting for her forever home-- someone who is okay with keeping a close eye on her while her surgery site finishes healing. Peggy gets along great with other cats and children and would be a great addition to any home, but she may need a little while by herself before being allowed to run around like a crazy kitty (just for the sake of healing-- she would happily jump right into playtime if she could).If you have the space in your heart and home for a special girl like Peggy, come meet her today! She`s waiting patiently for her second chance.
