Nala is a indoor-outdoor cat. She always tries her best to find any possible way to go outside, it gets hard to keep her inside a lot of the time. Other than that, she is a very sweet and vocal cat. She can be very skittish at times, but is willing to relax near you if she trusts you enough. We cannot take care of her anymore due to the fact we are gonna be moving really soon. And doubt she would be able to handle the big trip. And we'd like her to have a nice new home to go to and can properly be taken care of.

Kristoff's Story This handsome boy is sure to charm and win your heart! Kristoff absolutely loves to play, especially with a laser pointer or a toy wand. Kristoff is also an avid bird watcher -- he loves chattering at them, he can do it for hours. Kristoff is a very sweet boy who is looking for his forever home. He's tried out a couple so far, and we've learned he'd probably do best in a home without young children (older kids would be ok) and as an only pet. This cutie first came into our care with his mom "Queenie" (adopted) and sisters Anna (adopted), Elsa (adopted) and Arendelle (adopted). That litter of kittens caused quite a stir! Everyone was crazy about those cute kittens. Kristoff was ADOPTED Sept/Oct 2025 with his sister Anna, but they came back into our care in December 2025 and again in May 2026 to find a better fit. Kristoff is pretty darn perfect! Please note that the return to our care was not his fault and we are working hard to find him the awesome home he deserves. Featured as the Pet of the Week in the Sept. 25, 2025, issue of the Fort Leavenworth Lamp with sister Anna as a kitten and in the Feb. 19, 2026, issue of the Fort Leavenworth Lamp as a 10-month-old. Hi there, I'm Baby Boy. I was surrendered to HOPE when my owner was unfortunately moved into assisted living after months in the ICU. Her daughters took care of me and my 5 roomies but it couldn't last long term. We were all very, very loved though! I'm a shy guy, that's just how I've always been. I am the more confident of my siblings Gracie and Blackie, though. Our Mama Kitty is a little shy too. I'd probably do best in a calm home with a nice quiet place to adjust. It'll take some time but I would totally repay your patience with love as soon as I'm warmed up! I've always been sweet for the people here at the shelter.

On a cold day, in negative 0 temps and a snow storm, I was found outside by a family who was worried that I wasn't going to make it much longer. They brought me inside and started contacting shelters so I could find my forever, indoor, home. Then I came to HOPE! With how I was found and how cold it still was outside, they determined I needed a nice, warm name and dubbed me Soup. As Soup, I have been the ultimate sweetheart, always ready to say hi to people that pass by me and lean into any affection I'm given. I'm a curious guy that wanders the lobby while my cage is being cleaned but the folks here think I will probably be a bit of a couch potato in my new home. Ha, potato soup!

I'm a little cat with a big personality! I arrived at HOPE after having to be surrendered by the family that took me in after I was kicked out of my home. They loved me but I really didn't like their current cats. Most the lobby cat's here at the shelter annoy me a lot too, so I would prefer to be your only one. Other than that, I absolutely love people. I'm always ready for any kind of attention you give me. When I first got to the shelter I was a bit stressed and grouchy. So I may need a few days in your home to adjust before I'm ready for all that love, but I will get there quickly!
