Story
Meet Mr Brody! He was living outside of an apartment complex and was definitely someone's pet but apparently was thrown out or abandoned. He is a very handsome boy and very sweet but would be best as an only child. He has been neutered, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea and worm treated and is negative for feline leukemia and AIDS. If interested in him or any of our Castaway cats, please fill out our application at Castaway catsde.com

Story
Meet Aquaman! This handsome devil came to us after being found minimally responsive in the snow. He was incredibly sick and we were not sure if he was going to make it. After some testing, we came to find out that he was diabetic and suffering from extremely high blood sugar that was causing him to feel very sick. Thankfully, after a short time on Bexacat, he went into Diabetic remission and is now controlled strictly on diet! He will need to see the vet every 6 months to make sure he remains in remission but otherwise will not require any additional care. Aquaman is incredibly sweet and we think he is about 4-5 years old. He does well with other cats and children but would prefer a home without dogs. He is very outgoing and loves to explore! He would thrive in about any home. If you are interested in adopting Aquaman or another one of our animals, please submit the application below and submit the application fee. Please also take the time to review our adoption requirements including our vaccine and preventative requirements for existing pets in the home. If your pet is not up to date on veterinary care, we kindly ask that you have that completed prior to applying since we cannot hold any animals. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScfwj4E8INvJgwuroLMdnOlLRZo_n3PQBHyowerHONa-i2j4g/viewform?fbclid=IwY2xjawQFrC1leHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETIwSmIwOFdiNzVIaVY0Wktkc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQQMjIy

Story
Hello! My name is Clementine, you can call me Clem I was found outside in Oxford. When I was posted online, it was found out that my family had gotten deported and the person I was left with to care for me was allergic to me and could no longer care for me. Prior to my family I was found outside, so I have spent more of my life on the streets than in a warm and cozy home. It takes me some time to warm up to you, but once I do, I love to sit near you! I can handle being pet and picked up, though I don’t like being handled too often or roughly. I am very respectful of your space, I am not especially chatty and am very glad at using the litter box. I have found that I do not do well in a home with other animals, and prefer to be the center of your attention. I do love to sit on your chest and will purr loudly- I handle being brushed very well, which is good, because I have a lot of fur! I am not sure how I do with children, as I have not been in a setting with them. I really like kibble! I will sit around and eat it all day if you let me, so it is probably best to split feeding times to AM and PM routine which I will pick up on it quickly. If you are considering having a single pet household, will you please consider me? I am a pretty easy girl to please and have a lot of love to give. I’ve been spayed, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea and worm treated. I am negative for feline leukemia and aids.

Story
Wilson is a very sweet, gentle boy who was abandoned by his owners when they moved out :( Poor boy was found cowering behind a building across the street from our fosters, sneaking over to try to get some food they put out for some strays in the area. They saw how scared and hungry he was and befriended him to come closer so they could bring him inside. He is now inside, safe and warm and very happy and has been neutered, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea and worm treated and is negative for feline leukemia and FIV. He is very playful and is fine with other cats and ok with their dogs (still not sure yet). If you are interested in Wilson or any of our Castaway Cats, please fill out our application at castawaycatsde.com

Story
Joey is sweet boy who was living on the streets of Wilmington being fed by an individual once in a while and was always trying to get some love and attention but did not get much. He was so friendly, we were afraid something might happen to him being so venerable. We also thought he deserved a better life than living on the streets, so we took him in with the hopes of finding him a loving inside home! He has been neutered, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea and worm treated and is negative for feline leukemia and FIV. If you might be interested in Joey or any of our castaway cats ,please fill out our application at castawaycatsde.com
