Wren is a beautiful, sweet girl who was rescued off the streets of Philly and was going to have to go back out there because the other rescue could not keep her. I saw how young (8 weeks at the time) she was and knew she could not go back out there, so we took her in. She is spayed, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea and worm treated and is negative for feline leukemia and FIV. She is very sweet but will be shy at first until she gets to know you but then will purr up a storm when she is head booped and pet!

Meet Mr Brody! He was living outside of an apartment complex and was definitely someone's pet but apparently was thrown out or abandoned. He is a very handsome boy and very sweet but would be best as an only child. He has been neutered, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea and worm treated and is negative for feline leukemia and AIDS. Elena was found living behind a restaurant in Newark. Matchstick is one of 4 kittens that was found and rescued with her mom. They were found in a local neighborhoods woods that backed up to businesses. The businesses have bait boxes where mice eat the poison and scurry off to die days later. I’m thankful the mom and babies never ate a poisoned mouse as they would have had the same fate. The trap wasn’t easy and the babies and mom were very skeptical of humans intentions. After her brother and sister were adopted Matchstick really flourished. She went from a shy untrusting girl to a love bug that loves to play and has the best purr you have ever heard. I see her being a full blown cuddler in her future. Matchsticks sister Violet will hopefully be available soon. Meet Aquaman! This handsome devil came to us after being found minimally responsive in the snow. He was incredibly sick and we were not sure if he was going to make it. After some testing, we came to find out that he was diabetic and suffering from extremely high blood sugar that was causing him to feel very sick. Thankfully, after a short time on Bexacat, he went into Diabetic remission and is now controlled strictly on diet! He will need to see the vet every 6 months to make sure he remains in remission but otherwise will not require any additional care. Aquaman is incredibly sweet and we think he is about 4-5 years old. He does well with other cats and children but would prefer a home without dogs. He is very outgoing and loves to explore! He would thrive in about any home. If you are interested in adopting Aquaman or another one of our animals, please submit the application below and submit the application fee.
