Story
Hi… I’m Poseidon. Life has been a little confusing lately. I was found as a stray, so not much is known about where I came from or what I’ve been through before arriving at the shelter. Right now, I’m still trying to figure everything out. The shelter is a big, loud, scary place for a shy guy like me, and I’ve been feeling pretty overwhelmed by all the new sounds, smells, and people. Because of that, I may seem quiet or reserved at first. I’m the kind of cat who needs a little patience, understanding, and lots of TLC to help me feel safe again. But underneath my nervous shell is a sweet soul who just wants a calm home where I can finally relax and learn what it feels like to truly belong. I’m looking for a forever family who will give me the time I need to come out of my shell at my own pace. A cozy spot to hide, gentle voices, and kind hands would mean the world to me. Once I realize I’m safe, I know I’ll start to blossom into the cat I’m meant to be. More than anything, I’m hoping to leave the shelter soon and find a loving home where I can feel secure, cared for, and loved forever. Could you be the one to give me my fresh start?

Story
Hi, I’m Temo! I may look a little different, but that just makes me extra special! I came to the shelter as an injured stray with a laceration around my lip and nostril area. As you can see from my photos, I’ve been through a lot for such a young kitten. The good news is that I’m healing well and haven’t let any of it dampen my spirits one bit! I’m a super friendly, playful little guy who loves attention, adventures, and making new friends. Whether I’m chasing toys, exploring my surroundings, or curling up for some affection, I’m always ready to share my happy personality with everyone I meet. My injury may leave me looking a little unique, but I think it gives me character. What matters most is that I’m healthy, full of love, and ready to start the next chapter of my life with a family of my own. Could you be the one to give me the love and forever home I deserve? I promise to repay you with plenty of purrs, playtime, and unconditional love.

Story
Hi, I`m Gamora! My story started with a sad chapter when I was abandoned at the shelter, but I`m ready to leave that behind and focus on finding my happily-ever-after. Despite everything, I`ve kept my sweet and loving heart. I adore people and am always happy to make new friends, whether that means soaking up pets, keeping you company, or simply being by your side. I`m looking for a forever family that will love me, cherish me, and promise never to give up on me. In return, I`ll fill your home with affection, purrs, and loyal companionship. I know my perfect match is out there, and I can`t wait to start our new life together. Could you be the family I`ve been waiting for? Come meet me at Pet Valu 300 Tecumseh starting June 9th!

Story
Hi, I`m Frankie! I`m the kind of girl who likes being near my people, but I also appreciate having my personal space respected. I can be a little skittish when someone approaches me, so I prefer to make introductions and interactions on my own schedule. Once I feel comfortable, you`ll find that I enjoy sharing quiet moments with my favourite humans. Having a safe place to call my own is very important to me. Whether it`s a cozy box, a cat house, or a quiet hideaway, I like knowing I have somewhere to retreat when I need a little time to myself. My favourite time of day is dusk! That`s when my playful, energetic side comes out. I`ll stay active through the evening before settling down to relax with you. At bedtime, you`ll often find me sleeping at the foot of the bed, and if I think you`ve slept long enough, I may gently tap your arm to ask for a few morning pets before starting my day. I`m still learning that being picked up isn`t so scary, but it`s not something I`m fully comfortable with yet. Patience and understanding will go a long way with me. I also have some preferences when it comes to affection—please skip the pets on top of my head! I`ll usually duck away to let you know that`s not my favourite spot. One thing I absolutely love? Catnip toys! They bring out my fun side and are a great way to win me over. Because I`m a sensitive soul, I`d do best in a quiet home without young children. A calm environment will help me feel safe and allow my personality to continue to blossom. If you`re looking for an independent companion who will quietly share your space, keep you company on her own terms, and reward your patience with trust and affection, I might just be the perfect cat for you.

Story
Bandit is a loving, bundle of joy that is always looking to eat, play, and sleep! He often puts his whole face into food and he absolutely loves little toys to swat around. Bandit is often picking things up and rearranging them all over the room, “decorating” he says. You will find him in soft blankets or wanting to be on your lap as these are nice and safe places when he’s ready to hit the zZzZz. Watch out as he will steal your heart next!!

Story
Hi, I’m Toast. I may be small, but I’ve got a big heart and an even bigger curiosity about everything around me. I like to think of myself as a professional explorer—if there’s a cozy corner, a crinkly toy, or a mysterious shadow, I’m already on the case. I’m sweet and affectionate, and once I decide you’re my person, I’m all in. Expect gentle snuggles, tiny purrs, and me showing up just when you didn’t realize you needed a little company. Playtime is serious business for me. I love chasing, pouncing, and turning ordinary things into the most exciting adventure. But when I’m done being brave and busy, I’m just as happy curling up somewhere warm and safe. I’m looking for a home that will let me be my curious, playful self—and maybe share a few snacks and a lot of love along the way. Could I be your little Toast?
