I named her Raya after the Disney movie “Raya and the last dragon”. A friend of mine from High School had a litter of kittens she was giving away and when I saw Raya I knew I wanted her immediately. She was 9 weeks old when she came home with us. Her birthday is August 6th 2023. She is very playful, she loves to cuddle, she loves wet food more than dry food. She is nice to people but she does get very scared of large crowds and loud noises and will go hide. She brought me so much joy and peace at a time I was grieving the loss of my baby. Unfortunately with our move we cannot bring her along. I would love for her to have a loving family that is willing to give her attention. She loves head and face scratches. She loves belly rubs when she’s happy. She loves to follow me around the house. She listens to directions like “come here Raya”. She loves sleeping inside dark tight spaces. It is my hope that she is loved and gets to maintain most of what she’s been used to since a kitten.

My friends son owned this cat for 14 years. A few years ago he fell into drugs, and the poor cat was taken from one drug house to another. He’s been in jail the last couple weeks and was sentenced to two years a few days ago. One of the people in the drug house drop the cat off on my neighbors porch. She’s highly allergic to cats, but put it in her basement, hoping to reunite him with his cat, but unfortunately that’s not going to happen. The poor thing’s been through a lot, doesn’t like touching right away, but does warm up to you. My friend is thinking the only option is to put her down, but I’m trying to help her; my friend is really in a bad way. If someone can take Nighty for her last years, we’d really appreciate it 🙏🏻🐈‍⬛❤️

Brindle (tabby) and Mini (tabby/calico) are brothers born June 4, 2017. Their shots and checkups were updated last summer at Afford Veterinary Care in Clinton Twp. They’re indoor/outdoor cats, flea-free, and love exploring, catnip toys, climbing towers, and nightly play sessions. Both are affectionate and even-tempered. Brindle begs for people food (don’t leave any out!), while Mini isn’t interested. They’re litter trained, come when called, stay off counters, don’t scratch furniture, and aren’t loud or destructive. Each morning they share a can of wet food plus dry food and water. Brindle can be anxious around toddlers (he once over-groomed from stress but is improving). Mini has a mild autoimmune issue—scratches may swell and heal slowly. Their ideal home is pet-free and child-free, preferably a quiet older couple ready to cuddle and spoil two sweet boys.

Zoey is a sweetie senior cat who needs to be the only pet in the house. She is a total snuggle bug and will purr your ear off! She was at the vet January 26, 2026 and received a clean bill of health after her full panel of senior labs were drawn along with a urinalysis. She doesn’t get along with my other pets so she has her own bedroom. We’re expecting our first human baby, and need this room for our nursery.
