Story
Hi… I’m Poseidon. Life has been a little confusing lately. I was found as a stray, so not much is known about where I came from or what I’ve been through before arriving at the shelter. Right now, I’m still trying to figure everything out. The shelter is a big, loud, scary place for a shy guy like me, and I’ve been feeling pretty overwhelmed by all the new sounds, smells, and people. Because of that, I may seem quiet or reserved at first. I’m the kind of cat who needs a little patience, understanding, and lots of TLC to help me feel safe again. But underneath my nervous shell is a sweet soul who just wants a calm home where I can finally relax and learn what it feels like to truly belong. I’m looking for a forever family who will give me the time I need to come out of my shell at my own pace. A cozy spot to hide, gentle voices, and kind hands would mean the world to me. Once I realize I’m safe, I know I’ll start to blossom into the cat I’m meant to be. More than anything, I’m hoping to leave the shelter soon and find a loving home where I can feel secure, cared for, and loved forever. Could you be the one to give me my fresh start?

Story
Hi, I`m Frankie! I`m the kind of girl who likes being near my people, but I also appreciate having my personal space respected. I can be a little skittish when someone approaches me, so I prefer to make introductions and interactions on my own schedule. Once I feel comfortable, you`ll find that I enjoy sharing quiet moments with my favourite humans. Having a safe place to call my own is very important to me. Whether it`s a cozy box, a cat house, or a quiet hideaway, I like knowing I have somewhere to retreat when I need a little time to myself. My favourite time of day is dusk! That`s when my playful, energetic side comes out. I`ll stay active through the evening before settling down to relax with you. At bedtime, you`ll often find me sleeping at the foot of the bed, and if I think you`ve slept long enough, I may gently tap your arm to ask for a few morning pets before starting my day. I`m still learning that being picked up isn`t so scary, but it`s not something I`m fully comfortable with yet. Patience and understanding will go a long way with me. I also have some preferences when it comes to affection—please skip the pets on top of my head! I`ll usually duck away to let you know that`s not my favourite spot. One thing I absolutely love? Catnip toys! They bring out my fun side and are a great way to win me over. Because I`m a sensitive soul, I`d do best in a quiet home without young children. A calm environment will help me feel safe and allow my personality to continue to blossom. If you`re looking for an independent companion who will quietly share your space, keep you company on her own terms, and reward your patience with trust and affection, I might just be the perfect cat for you. You may have noticed I’m an Underdog adoption this is because I require a patient and understanding adopter to help set me up for success. Luckily this means my adoption fee is up to you ($30 admin fee still applies)!

Story
Hi, I`m Gamora! My story started with a sad chapter when I was abandoned at the shelter, but I`m ready to leave that behind and focus on finding my happily-ever-after. Despite everything, I`ve kept my sweet and loving heart. I adore people and am always happy to make new friends, whether that means soaking up pets, keeping you company, or simply being by your side. I`m looking for a forever family that will love me, cherish me, and promise never to give up on me. In return, I`ll fill your home with affection, purrs, and loyal companionship. I know my perfect match is out there, and I can`t wait to start our new life together. Could you be the family I`ve been waiting for? Come meet me at Pet Valu 300 Tecumseh starting June 9th!

Story
Hi, I`m Oddie! I`m a sweet, affectionate guy who`s looking for a new forever home with my best friend, Garfield. We`ve been through a lot together, and we`re a bonded pair, so we`ll need to stay together. I`m the perfect mix of playful and independent. I love chasing string toys, finding cozy spots to nap, and curling up for cuddles when I`m in the mood. I`ll happily sit on your lap and soak up attention, but I also appreciate having my space. When I`ve had enough pets, I`ll simply wander off and do my own thing. I`ve lived with children and have always been a friendly, gentle companion. I can be a little shy at first, but once I feel comfortable, my loving personality shines through. Garfield and I enjoy spending time together, whether we`re playing, grooming each other, or just relaxing nearby. I was surrendered because I wasn`t adjusting well to a new puppy in the home. While I`ve lived with dogs before, I would be happiest in a calm environment without energetic canine roommates. A quiet home where Garfield and I can relax, play, and receive plenty of love would be my dream come true. If you`re looking for twice the companionship, twice the cuddles, and twice the love, Garfield and I can`t wait to meet you!
