Story
Hello! We are Hans Christian and Lars! We are brothers and are a bonded pair. We must be adopted together in order to live our best possible lives. We adore attention, getting Churu as a treat, and getting groomed to help maintain our fabulous coats. Hans Christian is a social butterfly who loves giving head-butts, many kisses, and the occasional gentle love bite. Hans Christian enjoys a good cat nip filled treat to play with and exploring his surroundings. Lars is more of an "up high cat"...he likes to take in his surrounding before exploring. Once he has warmed up, he will shower you with love and enjoys endless cheek rubs! These boys have lived indoors all of their lives and will need remain indoor cats to be the happiest and healthiest versions of themselves. Do you have a place for them to call home? The fee to adopt Hans Christian and Lars is only $75.00 **All adoption candidates have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated and wormed! Adoptions include a cardboard pet carrier, and a free veterinary visit. If you live in Lincoln County and have dogs in the home, they must be licensed in Lincoln County (requires current rabies vaccination). If you rent, you would need permission from your landlord to have a pet. Phone messages and emails will be returned in the order they are received. You may reach us at 541-265-0720 or lcanimalshelter@co.lincoln.or.us for more information.

Did I catch your eye? I don't blame you if you had to stop and stare, I am quite cute if I do say so myself. I love the attention and I don't mind if you want to shower me with all your love, actually I would prefer it! All I want to do is find a place to call my own. If you have been searching for a furry companion that you want to spoil, look no further. I adore every person I meet. I can't wait to see what your loving family can offer me! The fee to adopt Pretty Boy is $75.00 **All adoption candidates have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated and wormed! Story
This is Pip! She was born 03/01/2023 so she’s one year old. She’s very petite for her age. First two pictures are of her now and the last one was when she was a kitten. My grandparents cat had an accidental litter and she was given to us since they couldn’t find a home because of her fear of people. A couple days after bringing her home we found out we were expecting but wanted to try to work with her anyways. Because of lack of funds we haven’t taken her for a vet visit. We have another cat in our house that she adores and a dog that she tolerates. Since bringing our baby home she’s been incredibly stressed and spends all day hiding. She’s gotten better with people and will walk up for pets now but generally tries to avoid us. Ideally we think she’d do best in a home that’s not so chaotic with a kitty friend. If you had a calm dog that would be ideal. She’s never scratched any furniture, litter box trained, and has the potential with the right person to be a love bug I know it.

Story
Tom came to us via a friend who picked him up after his previous owner dumped him on the side of the road. He has been a loving, funny cat ever since we got him 3 years ago, but with a new baby and not enough room for him to roam, we can't give him the attention he deserves. We would love for him to go to someone who needs a buddy. He's sharp, cuddly, a little lazy, and very photogenic.

Story
***By appointment only, please inquire through Petfinder, Adopt-A-Pet, Rescueme.org or directly e-mail us at shelter@hbpets.org** Meet Zelda, she is a 4yrs old, medium haired, spayed female. Zelda was with us a year ago, she arrived with her sister and brother. Zelda was adopted very quickly as is a social butterfly, loves humans and children. Her amazing adopters tried for a year to get their resident cat and Zelda to get a long, they tried everything, but after a year it was just clear these two cats would never make peace. Zelda would prefer a home either with no cats or a gentle male cat, she loves dogs who give her space, she loves all humans and children of all ages. Adoption fee $100. *** You don't need an appointment to visit our cats, here is what you need to know: 1. Cats are avaible to visit Thursday-Saturday 10am-4:00pm. 2. Proof of home ownership must be brought with you, i.e a mortgage statement or property tax or home owners insurance 3. If you are a renter, you must have a letter from your landlord stating you can have a cat, pet policy and or pet agreement are not sufficient. 4. Debit/Credit or cash for adoption 5. Cat carrier, we have card board ones for $5 6. You can place a hold on a cat, due to people not returning we will be charging $25 to hold, this will be taken off your adoption fee.
