Story
Dahlia is a great cat; she is loving, affectionate, purrs like a motorboat when you pet her and likes to be around people. We have several children and she has no issues with them at all. She is around them all the time. Dahlia does not do well with other cats. We have an older cat and Dahlia can be a bully. She will chase our other cat away and sit in key areas to make sure the other cat stays there. For the health and safety of our older cat, Dahlia needs to find a new home. She enjoys being with people. She also loves sitting in and on boxes. She uses the litter often, to the point where one may need to scoop it twice a day. Her litter should be in an open area, she doesn’t like small spaces. Dahlia is a lap cat if I ever saw one. If you are sitting, she will want to sit with you. She will also curl up in bed with you. She likes to play with string toys with feathers. Dahlia loves chasing bugs and sitting in open windows.

Story
Phoenix is a 3 year old fluffy orange tabby. Very sweet but shy, Phoenix prefers a quiet house. During the day, she finds a place to hide in order to sleep. She is not a lap cat but will lay next to you for pets. She is up to date on her rabies shots. Her favorite activities are chasing a laser pointer and watching birds from her cat perch. Phoenix is a people cat. She lives with another cat and they tolerate/ignore each other. We have to rehome her because my wife has developed severe allergies. If needed, I will include all of her stuff such as litter box, feeder, tower, food, and brush.

Story
Hi, I'm a 14-yr-old, declawed cat who likes to mostly sleep. In addition, I like to sit on laps, drink or play with water, play with ribbons and catnip mice, and eat fun foods - such as cantaloupe, cookies, and chicken. I was born in CO, but my first family left me in a shelter when I was two. A couple without kids adopted me (12 years now) and loved me so much that they paid for me to fly to PA with them. They like me because I am interactive when I am awake, am rubby, and sleep on their laps. I also greet guests and initially rub their legs. When I am done, I will let them know and just watch them from afar. Mom's not too taken when I whine for attention or food, but when I get just a little, I am happy as a clam. Lately, they had issues that made me more anxious than normal. I started not always using the litterbox, although I was always very good about using it. They want me to have a home where I will feel less anxious. They think a quiet home will be good for me.

**PATRICK`S ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN FULLY SPONSORED**Hello, my name is: PatrickApprox. DOB: 10/29/2022Weight: 12.3 lbsSex/breed: Neutered male domestic shorthairRescued from: Hoarding caseIn October 2025, we brought 27 cats into our care from a profoundly sad hoarding situation. These beautiful kitties once had a loving owner who struggled with their own mental health. When that owner passed away, the entire feline family was left alone to fend for themselves until help arrived.Patrick is an outgoing and charming guy, with the most adorable curious expression. He’ll march up and slide against his foster mom’s leg to demand a back scratch, then somersault toes over tail into a happy puddle on the floor. He does have a bit of a butt-head streak, though. He’ll ask for affection, get overstimulated and swatty three seconds later, and then go right back to flirty in the same breath. He’ll be a fantastic teacher in reading cats’ body language! These sweet kitties thrive in the company of other cats and would do best in quiet homes. Despite the conditions they came from, they use their litter boxes and scratching posts faithfully. They can go home in pairs or as singles to homes with at least one other friendly feline. They need patient, gentle adopters who are committed to continuing the slow, loving work of socialization. If you love a challenge and are willing to play the long game for a big reward, please consider taking a chance on one or more of these cats. After all they’ve been through, they deserve a happily ever after. All our pets are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.Interested in adopting? These beautiful kitties once had a loving owner who struggled with their own mental health. When that owner passed away, the entire feline family was left alone to fend for themselves until help arrived.Katarina is the youngest of the bunch, only seven months old when she was rescued. She’s grown into a beautiful young lady! She is still wary and skittish around people, a sign that she didn’t get much human attention in the first half of her life. Katarina has made progress in her foster home and will approach to sniff an outstretched hand to see if it contains something yummy. She still has a firm “no touchy” rule in place, though will allow some wiggle room for gentle head strokes at meal times.
