Story
This kitten is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN.* Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply. Jolie is a ten week old orange and black tortoiseshell Domestic Short Hair kitten with a whole lot of curiosity, a whole lot of playfulness, and just enough sass to make life genuinely entertaining! This pretty girl is still figuring out the world around her and likes to take her time warming up to new people, but once she decides you are worthy of her trust she is sweet, engaged, and absolutely delightful company. Jolie loves every cat toy she has ever encountered and has also discovered that crinkly bags are basically the greatest invention in the history of the universe, which means her future family will want to keep that in mind before leaving a Walmart bag unattended anywhere in her vicinity. She approaches everything with bright eyed curiosity and throws herself into playtime with the kind of wholehearted enthusiasm that only a ten week old kitten can truly deliver. She has met dogs and while she draws a firm line at having her face licked, she holds her ground calmly and does not run, which is a pretty confident and impressive attitude for such a tiny girl. She has zero behavioral concerns and is simply a sweet, playful, and beautiful little kitten who is ready to grow into a wonderful companion. Jolie would be a perfect fit for anyone who wants a front row seat to the non-stop entertainment that only a curious and playful kitten can provide. Patient and gentle people who give her the space to warm up at her own pace will be rewarded with a truly sweet and engaging little companion. Story
This kitten is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN.* Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply.  Mills is an adorable 2½-month-old brown tabby Domestic Shorthair with an extra-special bobtail and an even bigger heart! This sweet little guy is the perfect mix of playful adventurer and cuddly companion. If there's something to climb, Mills is already halfway to the top! He loves exploring cat trees, furniture, and anything else that lets him satisfy his curious spirit. After a fun play session, you'll usually find him curled up in a cozy enclosed bed or wrapped in the softest blanket he can find for a well-earned nap. Mills absolutely adores his siblings, so he's very comfortable around other cats and would love a feline friend in his forever home. He's also shown that dogs don't seem to bother him, and he's wonderful with kids, making him a great fit for many different families. This little foodie never says no to wet food, and it's a great way to win him over! While Mills can be a bit shy when meeting new people, it doesn't take long for his gentle, affectionate personality to shine through. Once he feels safe, he's incredibly sweet, loving, and happy to soak up all the attention. If you're looking for a playful, cuddly kitten with a charming bobtail and a heart full of love, Mills is ready to climb his way right into your heart!   * $175 plus transport fee (varies) for adoptions to the Northeast.  Interested in adopting? Story
This cat is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $75 if picked up in TN.* Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply.   Mabel is a gorgeous 10-month-old brown tabby Domestic Shorthair with a personality as beautiful as her stripes. If you've ever wanted a cat who acts a little like a puppy, Mabel is your girl!  She absolutely loves being around her people and will happily follow you from room to room, chatting away the entire time. She's wonderfully talkative and always has something to say, making every day a little brighter with her sweet little conversations.  At bedtime, Mabel's favorite place is curled up beside her person. She dreams of finding a forever home where she can snuggle, share cuddles, and be someone's loyal best friend. She has so much love to give and is just waiting for that special person to call her own.  Mabel also loves finding the highest perch in the house, where she can keep watch over everything happening below. Whether it's a cat tree, bookshelf, or window perch, she's happiest when she has a great view of her kingdom.  She does well around dogs and can happily share her home with a respectful canine companion. With other cats, Mabel simply needs a little patience and time to adjust. Once she's had the chance to settle in, she does just fine.  If you're looking for a loving, affectionate, chatty companion who will greet you, follow you everywhere, and fill your home with purrs and personality, Mabel is ready to steal your heart.   * $150 plus transport fee (varies) for adoptions to the Northeast.  Interested in adopting? Story
This cat is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $75 if picked up in TN.* Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply. Ember is a two-year-old black Domestic Shorthair cat who would like you to know upfront that she is a diva. She is beautiful, she is clean, and she is wonderfully sassy, and somehow that combination makes her absolutely fascinating. This sleek and glossy girl keeps herself impeccably groomed, naps like it is a competitive sport, and gets excited for her favorite moment of the day when it's the arrival of her wet food. She announces herself with the most surprisingly sweet little chirp you will ever hear from a cat with this much personality.  Ember does not care about toys, is not fond of being picked up, and strongly prefers that affection happen on her timeline, and nobody else's. She is not asking for much, just a quiet space, a good nap spot, and a human who understands that patience is rewarded and rushing her is simply not an option. The right home for Ember is one that celebrates her independence and lets her call the shots. She would thrive as the one and only pet in a calm adult household where she can accept attention graciously and entirely on her own terms, reign as the undisputed queen of a quiet workshop, or hold court as a working indoor/outdoor farm cat who operates on her own schedule. She is not for everyone, but for the right person she is absolutely perfect. Story
This kitten is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN.* Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply. Soot is a two and a half month old black Domestic Medium Hair with a white spot on her neck, a voice she is not afraid to use, and an absolutely unshakeable opinion about when dinner should be served, which is now, thank you very much! This precocious and confident little girl is equal parts playful firecracker and snuggly lap cat, and she switches between the two with impressive speed and zero warning. Soot loves feather wands, zip ties, scraps of fabric, and her hammock, and she has developed a very sensible policy of carrying her favorite toys around so that nobody else can have them. She is also famously unimpressed by slow dinner service and will make her feelings on the subject loudly and clearly known. She has even been spotted riding the vacuum cleaner, which tells you everything you need to know about her fearless and adventurous personality. When playtime winds down, Soot transforms into a demanding cuddle bug who will climb directly onto your chest and settle in for a nap whether you had other plans or not. She gets along beautifully with other cats, greets strangers with confidence, and treats the entire household like her personal playground. Soot would do well in just about any loving home that appreciates a bold, entertaining, and deeply affectionate little cat who knows exactly what she wants and is not shy about asking for it. Story
This kitten is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $0 - WAIVED if picked up in TN.* Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply. Saturn is a two and a half month old orange tabby and white Domestic Shorthair who may take a little time to warm up, but once he does, get ready for an avalanche of purrs and snuggles that will absolutely melt your heart. This sweet, shy boy is the kind of kitten who rewards patience generously, transforming from a bit bashful to a devoted little love bug the moment he is picked up. Saturn does have some special needs as he was found to have a grade 3 heart murmur, so he may need medication or additional care later in life. Saturn carries himself with quiet gentleness, observing his surroundings carefully before deciding it is safe to fully relax and let his sweet nature shine through. He gets along wonderfully with other cats and seems comfortable around dogs, making him a calm and easygoing addition to a multi-pet household. For anyone who appreciates a kitten with a tender heart and a deep capacity for affection, Saturn is an absolute treasure. He simply needs someone willing to give him a little time and a lot of love, and in return he will give you purrs for days.
