Story
This cat is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $75 if picked up in TN.* Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply. Jack is a charming and affectionate 3 year-old Russian Blue mix with a soft silver-grey coat, white markings, and an adorable little nubby tail. He has a big personality and an even bigger heart, making him the perfect companion for someone looking for a devoted feline friend. Jack is incredibly sweet and loves to be held, often stretching up on your leg to ask for snuggles. He isn’t the most talkative cat, but when he does meow, it’s always out of pure excitement—especially when it’s time for dinner. In fact, one of his most endearing habits is spinning in circles when he knows food is coming, happily performing a few extra spins before enjoying his meal. Playtime is a huge part of Jack’s daily routine, and nothing excites him more than chasing bubbles. The moment he sees them, he starts meowing in delight, eagerly leaping into the air to catch them. He also enjoys watching videos of falling leaves on TV, wand toys, feathered attachments, and puzzle feeders keep him entertained, and he loves working for treats on a lick mat. Jack is not only playful but also adventurous, sometimes perching on his person's shoulders from a cat tree or the back of a chair just to be close. He drinks his water like a true gentleman, delicately dipping his paw into the bowl before sipping. Jack would thrive in a home where he can be the center of attention. He would do best as the only pet, as he can be dominant with shy or timid cats and finds the presence of other animals a tad bit stressful. Jack is looking for a home with someone who could provide him his daily medication to ensure he lives a long happy life.  He is welcoming toward visitors but would prefer a home without young children, as he is not fond of loud, unpredictable energy. Jack is looking for a cat-savvy adopter who will appreciate his quirks, give him the love he craves, and provide him with plenty of entertainment. If you’re searching for a devoted, playful, and endlessly entertaining best friend, Jack is ready to spin his way into your heart.    Interested in adopting? This kitten is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN.* Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply. Meet Kenton, an irresistibly adorable 5-month-old Domestic Short Hair brown tabby with a heart as big as his playful spirit! This sweet, friendly little guy is always ready to make new friends and will happily trot over to rub against your legs, shower you with kisses, and curl up for cuddles. Kenton is full of classic kitten charm—chasing bell ball toys, pouncing on anything with fun textures or sounds, and getting into the most endearing kitten antics. He’s wonderful with considerate kids and gets along great with other cats, and while he hasn’t met dogs yet, he’d likely warm up quickly to a cat-savvy pup with proper introductions. Kenton would truly thrive in an active home where he has a playful companion—whether that’s another cat, a gentle dog, or kids eager to keep him entertained. Loving, social, and oh-so-snuggly, Kenton would make a fantastic first-time pet and a joyful addition to almost any family ready to welcome his affectionate energy! * $175 plus transport fee (varies) for adoptions to the Northeast.  Interested in adopting? Story
This kitten is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN.* Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply. Phoebe is a joyful little sweetheart ready to charm her way into your heart. This playful Domestic Short Hair loves to bounce after toys, then curl up for cozy lap time with her perfect purr rumbling away. At four months old, she has just the right mix of kitten energy and sweet affection. Her soft grey coat with a hint of white is getting that silky Russian Blue feel, and she carries her fuzzy toy mice around like prized treasures. When she’s not pouncing and tossing toys through the air, she happily returns to your lap for more snuggles and gentle pets. Strangers are fun for Phoebe, and she watches adult cats with curious interest. She has not met dogs or children yet. A calm, loving home that enjoys both playtime and cuddle time would be a wonderful match for this friendly girl who loves to be close. If Phoebe sounds like the perfect companion for your family, please contact us for more information.
Meet Cowan, an 8-month-old Domestic Short Hair with the most adorable white coat covered in black splotches—just like a little cow! This handsome boy may be shy at first, but beneath that timid exterior is a super-duper sweet, soft-hearted kitty who just wants to feel safe and loved. Cowan is only mildly active and prefers gentle companionship over wild adventures. His absolute favorite thing is being petted—he’ll sweetly nudge into you, asking for ear and chin scratches once he trusts you. When he feels scared or unsure, he may hide, but with patience and kindness, he blossoms into a devoted and affectionate companion. Cowan does well with other cats, dogs, and kids, though he would thrive best in a quiet, calm home with older children and perhaps another friendly cat to help him feel secure. He’d also be perfectly happy soaking up the full attention of his very own special human. With love and reassurance, Cowan will come out of his shell and reward his forever family with the gentlest, sweetest companionship. * $175 plus transport fee (varies) for adoptions to the Northeast.  Interested in adopting?
