Story
This kitten is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN.* Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply. Meet Jig, the tiny black and white charmer who is about to make himself completely at home in your heart! This two-month-old domestic shorthair is dressed to impress in sleek black fur with an adorable white locket on his chest, and he is equal parts playful kitten and snuggly lapcat wrapped up in one irresistible little package. Jig is a bit of a observer at first, the kind of kitten who likes to sit back, take in the situation, and make sure everything meets his approval before committing. But once he decides you are worthy, watch out, because this boy will be your shadow. He will follow you around requesting playtime, pets, and general adoration, and honestly it is a very hard offer to refuse. When it comes to play, Jig does not have a preference as long as it is fun. Tunnels, catnip toys, balls to bat dramatically across the floor at two in the morning, he is enthusiastic about all of it. He loves wrestling and playing with his siblings, and he is just as happy curling up for cuddles when the zoomies finally wear off. Jig is a sweet, social, and adaptable little guy with all the makings of a truly wonderful feline companion. He would do well in just about any loving home that is ready to give this little shadow the playtime, snuggles, and chin scratches he so clearly deserves. If Jig sounds like the perfect addition to your home, text AARF at 931-260-8018 or visit www.aarf-tn.com to learn more and apply today! Story
This cat is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $75 if picked up in TN.* Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply. Meet Cinder — your future shadow, snuggle buddy, and professional bird-watching companion. Cinder is a stunning one-year-old solid black domestic longhair with a sleek, flowing coat and an even sweeter personality. This handsome boy has already proven he’s resilient and full of life—after being found with a leg injury, he became a proud “tri-pawd.” But don’t worry—Cinder doesn’t let that slow him down one bit! He runs, jumps, and climbs like a champ. When he’s not showing off his moves, Cinder is all about comfort and companionship. He loves lounging in a sunny window hammock, happily bird-watching for hours, and never says no to his favorite wet food. At night, he’d be thrilled to curl up in bed with you—especially if it means keeping your feet warm. Cinder is incredibly affectionate and thrives on pets, cuddles, and being close to his people. He’s also wonderfully social and does great with other cats, dogs, and kids, making him an easy fit for many homes. If you’re looking for a loving, resilient, and charming companion, Cinder is ready to bring warmth, joy, and plenty of snuggles into your life. * $150 plus transport fee (varies) for adoptions to the Northeast.  Interested in adopting? Story
This cat is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $75 if picked up in TN.* Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply. TOUCHDOWN, you've met your match! Say hello to Vanderbilt (AKA Vandy), a very sweet 1 year old Domestic Short Haired Tortoiseshell cat. This petite, beautiful lady is a little shy of new people at first, but quickly warms up once she gets loving. Particularly fond of head and booty scritches, she lifts her tail up and shows affection. She is mostly black but has the cutest tan spot on her neck along with a typical tortie coloring. Vanderbilt is a big fan of wet food, cat trees, and lounging in the sun. She would absolutely be a big part of hanging on the couch and cheering on your favorite team no matter the season! Her foster mom thinks she will be good with other cats and her laid back demeanor indicates she would be good with cat-savvy dogs. If Vanderbilt seems like the right fit for you and your family, apply today! * $150 plus transport fee (varies) for adoptions to the Northeast. See this cat by appointment at PETCO, 377 W. Story
This cat is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation FREE if picked up in TN.* Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply. Snickers is a gentle, wise soul with a heart full of love and a lifetime of companionship to give. At 12–13 years young, this handsome white and gray boy (a charming Domestic Shorthair with a hint of Turkish Van flair) has mastered the art of being the perfect companion. Snickers adores the company of other cats and gets along wonderfully with dogs, too—he’s the kind of easygoing friend every home hopes for. Whether he’s sharing a cozy nap spot or quietly keeping you company, he just wants to be near his people (and furry friends). He especially loves lounging on his cat tower, where he can perch like a king and watch the world go by. It’s his happy place, and you’ll often find him there, content and peaceful. Snickers came from a loving home, and after the heartbreaking loss of his owner, he’s now looking for someone new to share that same deep bond with. He has so much love left to give and is hoping to find a kind, patient person who will cherish him just as much as he’ll cherish them.    Interested in adopting? Say hello to Boxty, a two-month-old domestic shorthair beauty in a classic black coat with a sweet white locket, and she is already convinced that whatever you are doing, it could probably use her supervision! This tiny girl is super sweet, endlessly playful, and has the kind of easygoing personality that makes her a perfect fit for just about any loving home. Boxty loves to play with anything and everything, and when she is not busy batting toys across the floor or wrestling with her siblings, she will be trotting along behind her favorite human making sure everything is being handled properly. She is helpful like that. She gets along beautifully with her siblings, and brings nothing but sweetness and entertainment to every room she wanders into. She is the kind of kitten who makes a house feel warmer and a bad day feel a whole lot better just by showing up and doing her thing. If you are looking for a playful, affectionate, and utterly adorable new family member who will keep you company, keep you entertained, and keep a watchful supervisory eye on all your activities, Boxty is ready to report for duty!
