Meet Benji! Benji is a resilient boy born in April 2024.Benji was found outside the foster’s home in the Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas. He had been hanging around all day and had chased the neighbor’s cat up a tree. By nightfall, he was still hanging around outside wearing a purple flea collar and was clearly comfortable with people. The foster brought him indoors to keep him safe and start looking for his family. An online post was made, along with fliers posted and was taken to the local shelter. No one claimed him. He settled into the foster’s home quickly, always wanting to be in the same room as her. He is sweet and playful and loves to climb and perch on his cat tree. He is in a home with other cats but tends to either dominate them and play too rough, or be timid and scared of them. He’s very interested in other cats but hasn’t quite found his match. He will definitely make a great companion in a home with adults only or kids. He has not been exposed to dogs that we know of. Benji is vetted and has excellent litter box manners.
