Story
Chanelle is on the shy side. She is as chill as she is full of energy. She loves to run and play with her siblings. She is curious, and loves to find different places to retreat to. Chanelle would do well in a home with one of her littermates, or with an established cat she can form a bond with. Chanelle comes from a litter of a feral cat that chose the foster family to seek a safe haven to birth her kittens in. Story
Little Mo is a resilient and strong kitten! Shortly after birth, Little Mo’s right rear paw got tangled in his brother’s umbilical cords, and circulation to his back paw was cut off. He persevered and recovered well and has a knub instead of the typical cat paw. But don’t worry-that doesn’t slow him down at all! He’s the most playful kitten from his litter and will play for hours on end. He also loves to cuddle in a soft blanket. Little Mo would do well in a loving slower paced household that could give him lots of interactive playtime. Little Mo comes from a litter of a feral cat that chose the foster family as a safe place to have her kittens. Story
Giselle is a beautiful tuxedo girl who has finally finished raising her babies and is ready for a home of her own. She was abandoned at an apartment complex in Grand Prairie while pregnant, and thankfully a kind family took her in so she could safely have and care for her kittens. She has been a wonderful mama, but now that her babies are finding homes, it is finally her turn to be spoiled. Giselle is quiet, laid-back, and very easy to have around. She enjoys the simple things, a sunny window, a cozy cat tree, and her favorite little yarn balls, which she proudly carries around the house in her mouth like tiny treasures. She has a calm, peaceful presence and feels like the kind of cat who will settle beautifully into a home and become part of your everyday routine. If you are looking for a gentle companion who is past the kitten chaos and ready for a cozy life, Giselle is your girl. Born 11/1/2024 At Meowtown, we don’t have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family. They’re not waiting to become housecats… they already are. They just need a house. Story
Steiner is one of those cats you fall in love with instantly — mostly because of that adorable little tongue that’s always peeking out. He’s missing a few teeth, so it just kind of… stays there. And honestly? It makes him completely irresistible. I’m his foster mom, and once you meet him, you realize how sweet he really is. He loves pets, being brushed, and just hanging out close to his person. He’s especially happy with a bowl of mushy wet food and is starting to discover that toys are actually pretty fun (catnip bananas are a current favorite). Steiner didn’t have an easy start — he was found living outside behind a grocery store, just trying to get by. At first, he seemed unsocial, but it turns out he was just scared. Once he felt safe, his true personality came out, and it’s all soft, gentle, and loving. He’s not big on being picked up, but he’s more than happy to snuggle right next to you while you relax. He does well with other cats who give him space, is okay with older kids, and would do best in a quieter home without dogs. Steiner is the kind of cat who just needs someone to see him — little tongue, sweet heart, and all — and give him the safe, cozy life he’s been waiting for. At Meowtown, we don’t have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. Story
I’m Sue, foster mom for Zeus and Oreo, a bonded pair up for adoption. These two boys have formed a quiet, special bond in my home, and I would love to see them continue that together.Oreo is the one who will win you over immediately. He’s a big, beautiful tuxedo with a thick, smoky coat and a confident, easygoing personality. He loves people, loves being brushed and pet, and will happily cuddle up with you to watch TV. He’s friendly, relaxed, and just a really easy cat to have around. Oreo came to us through no fault of his own when his family had to surrender him due to allergies, and he’s handled the transition like a champ.Zeus is different - and that’s what makes him special. He’s a stunning Maine Coon and a gentle, sensitive boy who takes his time learning to trust. He’s not the kind of cat who rushes into your arms… but he is the kind who will quietly choose you over time. He now approaches, sniffs for connection, and has started asking for pets - and those moments feel incredibly meaningful. These two complement each other beautifully. Oreo brings confidence and ease, while Zeus brings depth and quiet connection. They both enjoy simple things - toys from the toybox, watching the world from a window, and just sharing space with their person.Zeus will need patience and a calm home where he can continue to open up, but he’s already making progress - and having Oreo by his side gives him a sense of comfort and stability. If you’re someone who wants an easy, loving companion and the opportunity to make a real difference in a shy cat’s life, this pair offers both. Oreo will be your instant buddy… and Zeus will be your slow, meaningful bond.Zeus born 6/10/2021At Meowtown, we don’t have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. Story
From his foster mom, Lauren: Asher is such a sweet, laid-back boy who really just wants a cozy place to relax and someone to love him. One of my favorite things about him is how he makes biscuits in plush blankets. The second he finds a soft blanket, he settles in happily and starts kneading away like he’s completely content with life. Asher showed up starving at my feral colony, and at first I thought he might truly be feral because he acted so scared. After I had him neutered and returned, though, he made himself at home in my backyard shed and slowly started showing me who he really was — a total lover boy. Once he warms up, Asher is affectionate, easygoing, and very comfortable being held and loved on. He enjoys attention but also has a calm, independent side where he’s happy just hanging out nearby. He loves plastic spring toys, soft blankets, wet food, and treats, which honestly sounds like a pretty great life according to Asher. He gets along well with other cats and would likely do best in a quieter home without young children where he can relax, feel safe, and continue soaking up affection at his own pace. Asher has clearly been through a lot, but despite that, he’s turned into such a gentle, loving companion who’s ready for a soft, comfortable life with someone who will spoil him the way he deserves.
