Chanelle is on the shy side. She is as chill as she is full of energy. She loves to run and play with her siblings. She is curious, and loves to find different places to retreat to. Chanelle would do well in a home with one of her littermates, or with an established cat she can form a bond with. Chanelle comes from a litter of a feral cat that chose the foster family to seek a safe haven to birth her kittens in. Little Mo is a resilient and strong kitten! Shortly after birth, Little Mo’s right rear paw got tangled in his brother’s umbilical cords, and circulation to his back paw was cut off. He persevered and recovered well and has a knub instead of the typical cat paw. But don’t worry-that doesn’t slow him down at all! He’s the most playful kitten from his litter and will play for hours on end. He also loves to cuddle in a soft blanket. Little Mo would do well in a loving slower paced household that could give him lots of interactive playtime. Steiner is one of those cats you fall in love with instantly — mostly because of that adorable little tongue that’s always peeking out. He’s missing a few teeth, so it just kind of… stays there. And honestly? It makes him completely irresistible. I’m his foster mom, and once you meet him, you realize how sweet he really is. He loves pets, being brushed, and just hanging out close to his person. He’s especially happy with a bowl of mushy wet food and is starting to discover that toys are actually pretty fun (catnip bananas are a current favorite). Steiner didn’t have an easy start — he was found living outside behind a grocery store, just trying to get by. At first, he seemed unsocial, but it turns out he was just scared. Once he felt safe, his true personality came out, and it’s all soft, gentle, and loving. He’s not big on being picked up, but he’s more than happy to snuggle right next to you while you relax. He does well with other cats who give him space, is okay with older kids, and would do best in a quieter home without dogs. Steiner is the kind of cat who just needs someone to see him — little tongue, sweet heart, and all — and give him the safe, cozy life he’s been waiting for. From his foster mom, Diana: Some cats are ordinary. Rincewind looks like he walked straight out of a fantasy novel. With his oversized paws, adorably stubby front legs, fluffy tail that's almost long enough to sweep the floor, and striking dark tabby coat, Rincewind has the unmistakable look of a tiny witch's familiar. Add in his handsome tomcat cheeks, and he's a cat who turns heads everywhere he goes. Rincewind's personality is every bit as interesting as his appearance. He's friendly, curious, and enjoys being around people, but he's also wonderfully independent. He likes to keep you company, hang out nearby, and accept affection on his own terms. He's the perfect balance of companion and free spirit. His story began in a neighborhood feral colony, but it didn't take long to realize he was meant for indoor life. If you were outside, Rincewind wasn't far behind. He'd happily curl up in your lap by the pool, though he'd occasionally remind you that he had opinions about how he preferred to be petted. That independent streak is still part of his charm today. Rincewind is named after the lovable wizard from Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, and the name couldn't fit him better. He's quirky, unforgettable, and full of personality. He gets along well with both cats and dogs and would thrive in a home with other playful pets. Having furry companions to chase, wrestle, and burn off energy with helps him be his happiest self. Without another animal friend, he may occasionally redirect that playful energy toward ankles or fingers, so he'll do best with experienced cat people who understand normal feline play behavior. Because of this, Rincewind is not a good match for homes with young children. From his foster mom, Jill: Maverick is a huge cuddlebug who loves being close to his people. If there's an available lap, he's happy to claim it, and he's also been known to climb onto a shoulder to get a little closer. When a person isn't available, a soft blanket makes a pretty good substitute. This sweet boy was bottle-fed as a baby, so he grew up loving and trusting people. He's confident, friendly, and loves attention. He's also playful and has lots of kitten energy, so once cuddle time is over, he's ready to go have some fun. Maverick especially loves other cats. Although he started out as a bottle baby, he was raised alongside a litter of kittens and became very well socialized. He would love a home with another friendly kitty or two to play and cuddle with. Maverick probably wouldn't be happiest spending long stretches of time alone. He's a social little guy who really enjoys having company, whether it's human or feline. He's also good with children of all ages. One of Maverick's cutest features is his slightly crooked smile. He came into rescue with a broken jaw, and although it healed well and isn't expected to cause him long-term problems, it left him with a little bit of extra character in that handsome face. Maverick's beginning wasn't easy. He was found all alone in a Fort Worth neighborhood with a serious upper respiratory infection and that broken jaw. At first, no one knew what his prognosis would be. But with lots of care, he recovered and grew into the happy, affectionate, playful kitten he is today. You'd certainly never guess from his personality that Maverick had such a rough start. He loves people, loves other cats, loves to play, and perhaps most of all, loves to cuddle. From his foster dad, Chris: Boomer is an orange boy through and through: curious, entertaining, a little rambunctious, and absolutely convinced he should know about everything happening in his house. This confident guy loves people and isn't shy about making himself part of the action. Whether he's investigating something new, playing with his people, or romping around with another cat, Boomer knows how to have a good time. And when he's not participating in the fun, there's a good chance he's supervising it from the highest spot in the room. If there's something to climb, Boomer wants to see what's at the top. But underneath that adventurous orange-cat personality is a serious cuddle bug. Boomer loves lap time and will even settle in with you to watch TV. At night, he's ready to wind down and sleep right beside his person. He may be independent enough to entertain himself, but he certainly appreciates having someone to snuggle with when the day is done. Boomer also enjoys other cats and would be happy to have a feline friend for playing and chasing. If you're thinking about adopting two, Boomer's siblings, Pretty Kitty and Blue, are also available for adoption. Bringing home one of his siblings would give Boomer a familiar friend for playtime, adventures, and those inevitable orange-cat shenanigans! His journey to indoor life was actually Boomer's own idea. He was born to a neighborhood cat and spent his early days living outside. He started hanging around my backyard and apparently decided he liked what he saw. Then one day, Boomer simply walked right into the house. No invitation necessary. He had made his decision. Indoor life it was! Now Boomer is looking for a forever home where he can play, climb, investigate, cuddle, watch a little TV, and, naturally, be right in the middle of whatever you're doing. If you're looking for a funny, affectionate, confident orange boy who can keep you entertained by day and curl up beside you at night, Boomer may have already decided he's your cat. Born 04/08/2026 A Special Note About Boomer: Boomer has tested positive for feline leukemia virus (FeLV), but right now he is a happy, playful kitten who feels great and is ready to enjoy life with a loving family. FeLV-positive cats can have wonderful quality of life and may remain healthy for years, although their lives can sometimes be shorter and they may eventually need additional veterinary care. FeLV affects cats only—it cannot be transmitted to people, dogs, or other non-cat pets. Because it can spread between cats through close, prolonged contact, Boomer should be the only cat in the home or live with another FeLV-positive cat (like his littermates Pretty Kitty or Blue). He should also remain indoors and receive regular veterinary checkups so any health changes can be addressed promptly. Adopting an FeLV-positive kitten takes a special person who understands that no one can predict exactly how much time any pet will have. What Boomer can promise is a lot of love, laughter, and companionship for however many years you share.
