When she appeared at her colony’s feeding station with a severe limp her life changed significantly. Sassy’s back left back leg required amputation.  Making this transition from outside to inside has not been an easy one for this 5 year old cat. She was tormented by her foster’s 3 dogs requiring her to live a solitary life in a spare bedroom. Sassy’s foster wants to find her a safe inside/outside home.  Sassy’s vet believes she is quite capable of defending herself but we don’t want to chance that. She can be petted and could easily become an inside/outside cat.  If you are interested in adopting her, please send an email to ContactUs@NorthTexasBarnCats.comNovember 5, 2024, 3:48 pm

Story
In August 2024, my mother-in-law realized the cat she had taken in from a person who helps with trap/neuter/vaccinate/release had been spayed at TCAP. She 5 kittens on 8/21/24. We kept her in our bathroom while she weened the kittens. Two male kittens were adopted by a coworker the other three are with me. We would keep them all if we did not already have a house over-flowing with cats and ferrets. Piace plays with her brother, Poste. He is adlso up for adoption and if interested in both, I will discount the adoption fee. Typicallyvcat, she likes to be petted when SHE asks for pets. She is extremely playful and loves to play with my younger ferrets. She is a beautiful brown tabby who loves to use the litter box as you clean it! She may be more of a cuddler when she does not have all the distractions of cats and ferrets, but for now, she is more of a just play with me kitten. She hasn't learned to be a lapcat yet like her brother

She was born around spring of 2022.She is sweet, gentle and tender-natured. She enjoys companionship and getting care from her humans. She very much likes soft conversation and attention while being petted. Suki may be a little timid at first when meeting new people, but once comfortable she will be a good loyal friend.Suki would like being part of a calm, patient and stable family. Suki was found with her sister Yuki in the outdoor elements, both desperately trying to be good mama kitties while fending for themselves and their tiny kittens.A Good Samaritan who happened to be disabled tried to help them and the many other community cats in the area, but the cats needed more help than what she could provide. While the kittens were being placed for adoption, it was found that Suki and her sister Yuki were actually very sweet kitties and needed to find a home as safe pets instead of living life as TNRed community cats. It’s now time for sweet Suki to find the loving and safe home she deserves. Suki can be adopted as an only kitty or as a pair with her sister Yuki.Suki is spayed, UTD rabies and fvrcp distemper vaccinated, dewormed, kept on monthly flea prevention, tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped.  Adoption fee is $100.00 to help cover vetting expenses. If interested in making this special girl a part of your family, please text or call her rescue friends at 817-937-5910 for more details.November 5, 2024, 3:48 pm

With no cure, it took supportive care such as IV Fluid treatments and antibiotics to make her comfortable.  This daily interaction of care made her welcoming to human touch and kindness.  During her treatment she lost her shyness, found out that she loved being touched and petted, and lastly got to spend her days with other kitty playmates once she was no longer contagious..     Mattie’s other supporter was another cat who has since passed away with cancer.  We know that Mattie would prefer the company of another female, or two, hoping that one might be agreeable to become her best friend. This in-door only cat is available through Tall Tails Rescue with an adoption fee of $100. No declawing, please.  Text/Call Cathy to adopt or with questions. 817 994 9388.November 5, 2024, 3:48 pm

She is an outside cat but has been living inside with a foster in Frisco, Texas. She is totally feral. This 3-yo cat is up to date on her vaccinations (Rabies, FVRCP & FeLV), is spayed, has tested negative for FELV/FIV and has a micro-chip. We reached out to North Texas Barn Cats and was told they don’t place WHITE cats in outside locations. White cats are unable to blend in with grasses and landscaping making them a perfect meal for owls, hawks and coyotes.  Because she is feral, she needs a home in a WAREHOUSE setting. Our goal would be place her, and another cat in a warehouse setting. They would be agreeable to chase down the mice invading the premises in exchange for regular daily feedings.  Send an email to ContactUs@NorthTexasBarnCats.com if you are interested in having 2 mousers for your facility.November 5, 2024, 3:48 pm
