Story
Hi, I'm sad that I have to rehome Mercy but she's always attacking my senior cat because she so attached to me , and she's twice the size of my senior cat, she does need to be the only pet in the house with no children, she is very loveable but on her terms, like any cat, she's an indoor cat , she's about 7 years old , she needs an adult Mom or Dad . But not seniors. This is hard for me 💔. I hope she finds a forever loving home . She was a baby when she was rescued her, but she was farrier, she loves attention,, If ya'll need more information please let me know. Thank you

Story
Mama aka Sabine aka Sabi has been bringing her babies to me for about a year and a half and after catching and adopting out her last litter in November, I was finally able to catch her and get her spayed. She lives mostly outdoors though she is good about coming in when the weather is bad or when she just feels like being social. After working with her slowly, she finally let me begin to pet her and now she loves to have her butt scratched. She still has some ways to go but I feel she is ready for her forever home! She seems totally unbothered by our two large dogs and even our cats she doesn't seem to mind at all. She has had very little interaction with kids so I'm uncertain how she would do in a family with kids. Older kids might be a little better for her. I've gotten attached to her and if my female cat didn't hate her so much, we would consider taking her in full time. She deserves a home where she will be cared for and loved. Located in DeSoto, TX.

Story
Lupin showed up in January 2025 looking for food and a warm place to sleep. We feed other ferals and provide heated beds, so he stayed around for a few days. We discovered he was very friendly and loving, obviously someone's pet, so we advertised on all of the websites and the shelter, but after 2 weeks, no one claimed him. We got him neutered and vaccinated, and keep him upstairs in a large dog crate, because we have many other cats and 3 dogs. He loves people and likes to keep his humans close by. He plays with toys and attacks the scratching post, is confident and can be feisty. He talks back when spoken to. He has no "feral" bad habits, like getting into the trash. He is friendly to the other cats, especially another stray who came a few months after him. He likes to play with this cat, another male named Dobby (he's also on Rehome.com), so possibly they knew each other in their past. He ignores the big dogs. He needs an owner with more time to love on him and spend time with him.

Story
I have Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) but please don`t let that stop you from giving me a loving home!! The adoption of all FIV+ and FeLV+ is made complete with a new cat welcome gift, provided by the 5 O`Clock Fund.Cats that test positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) are more likely to develop a secondary illness. They do require some special care. FeLV can be transmitted to other cats, through direct contact such as through mutual grooming and by sharing litter boxes and bowls. Therefore, FeLV positive cats need to be kept indoors and should only be housed with other cats who are also FeLV positive or no other cats. FeLV cannot be transmitted to humans or other types of animals such as dogs.Since there is no treatment for FeLV, it is important to keep the cat`s immune system strong, with a healthy diet, a stress-free environment and regular vet checkups. FeLV positive cats can have a difficult time finding homes, even though in all respects they are normal, loving cats. Please don`t allow the FeLV stigma to prevent you from opening your heart and home to a wonderful kitty companion.
