They purr whenever they are held. They are friendly with every new person and are very active and playful. They are looking for a home with a family who will spend lots of time with them. Clover is a brown tabby tiger with white legs and the cutest light brown muzzle. She loves to be carried around like a baby. Flower is a beautiful grey and white kitten. Poppy is a 10-year-old gentle girl who is friendly, playful and social. She likes to be with people, and also be on her own sometimes, explore her world, sit in high places and look out a window at birds and chipmunks. For a napping place she loves a cozy cave, such as a soft blanket in a box in a closet or a soft bed on top of a chair. Poppy is a social eater. She greets you purrfully at mealtimes and loves to be petted or brushed while she enjoys her chow. She is very good and proper at using her litter box. In her first home, Poppy didn't feel safe or wanted. There were rambunctious dogs, bullying cats, and people who didn't pay attention to her. Poppy would love to have several people to relate to, rather than being a companion to one or two. The perfect home for Poppy would be a spacious place with a cat-savvy family who like to dote on a kitty and play with her every day, who know to be gentle and encouraging, so that Poppy can feel safe and loved. Story

Aaron is a gorgeous 1-year-old boy who is very sweet and loving. He adores petting and attention and is eager to crawl onto your lap for a snuggle session. He initiates head butts, enjoys ear scratches and full body pets... really any and all attention satisfies him. Play sessions are a fun time. He is cooing and purring as his feather wand toy flies overhead. Aaron is very inquisitive and loves to investigate, running and climbing. A cat tower and window perches would be ideal for him in his new home.Being a young cat, Aaron is working a little bit on boundaries. He can be a little restive with being told he can't be in a certain area, so learning to redirect him with patience and play will be a must. At this time Aaron does not do well with other cats and we are unsure how he would be with dogs. Aaron will do best as the only cat in a home with a person or family who will adore him and keep him entertained. Fawn is a 1.5-year-old gorgeous orange, black and white calico who arrived at the Shelter in January after coming from an unstable home environment. Initially she was quite uncertain, her previous life was chaotic and unpredictable and that resulted in her behavior being very reactive and scared. During her time with us, the focus has been on providing consistent gentle and affectionate care to build her trust and learn that people are safe and loving. We are happy to share Fawn has come a long way! She is blossoming into the sweet, gentle cat she truly is. Fawn would do best in a calm, loving home where routines are predictable, and where she can trust her environment to be safe. She is not a fan of other pets for company, so someone who will be home a lot would be wonderful, so she is not alone for hours throughout the day. Henri is a two-years-old calm and gentle cat and he is a LOVE! If you are looking for a snuggle friend, look no further. Warm, sweet and cuddly, Henri's absolute favorite thing is to crawl into your lap and be held in your arms. He will follow you around the room enjoying your company, then as soon as you sit down he curls his warm cozy body into your lap and stares adoringly into your eyes so grateful to be held. He is content to sit with you for hours warming your lap and inviting you to relax. Henri had a hard time before he came to us at the Shelter. He was found as a stray with a wound that needed medical attention, but with gentle, daily care is healed very nicely. We discovered, that Henri has FIV, Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, which is a condition that only affects cats. Cats who are FIV+ can live long, happy, fulfilling lives and enjoy good health with proper care. Henri would do best in a home as a single cat with a person or family that can provide him a relaxing, safe, indoor environment with A LOT of love and affection!
