Story
Lenny is the sweetest little striped, brown tiger kitty. He has a white chest, white feet and white at the tip of his tail! There is a tenderness in the expression on his face and his heart is true. Though he is a bit shy, his eyes seem to say he wants to be loved and love in return. He came into the rescue with his brother, who was recently adopted, and an adult cat, Uncle Lee, who cared for the boys when they lived outside! It was so sweet to see! Now that Lenny's brother is in his forever home (with his friend Lindsay) and Uncle Lee is in foster care, Lenny's little face seems to be saying: “Pick me. It's my turn now!” He will be patient, though, because he knows what's meant to be will be. Lenny would do best with a feline friend. If you want to meet Lenny, complete an adoption application at www.queencitycatsvt.org.

Story
Jan is a playful, affectionate 3-month-old girl with a big heart and a curious mind. She loves being part of whatever’s going on—whether that’s chasing toys, wrestling with her siblings, or supervising from a cozy perch. Jan is especially snuggly once playtime winds down and will happily curl up with her people for cuddles. She’s very food-motivated (treats are the way to her heart!) and does wonderfully with kids, making her a loving and gentle addition to a busy, happy home. At Queen City Cats, we believe two kittens are better than one! We only adopt kittens 6 months and younger out in pairs or to another household with another young cat for the kitten's social and emotional health. If you want to meet Jan, complete an adoption application at queencitycatsvt.org.

Not good with kids, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Rocky is a big, goofy, 4.5-yr-old boy with a huge purr and so much love to give! If you are a patient person that wants a cat that likes both his alone time and play time than he is the boy for you. Rocky is a shy and scared initially, and will need a separate room to decompress for the first month. Once comfortable he’s playful, curious, and loves chasing wiggle toys, birdwatching from the window, and being brushed (his absolute favorite thing)! When he’s feeling lovey (a lot of the time), he’ll rub around your legs, walk over you and lay down next to you. He loves his cat bed and getting under and on the blankets and laying with his person. He has energy to burn and needs playtime during the day to keep him happy and balanced. He is comfortable being picked up, getting his nails trimmed, and being generally handled. He will communicate by chirping when he does not want to be picked up or touched. If you're interested in meeting Rocky, complete an adoption application at queencitycatsvt.org.
