Looking Glass Animal Rescue is a 501c3 virtual rescue, using a network of dedicated fosters throughout Louisiana and the Northeast to care for our animals until adoption. You may be required to travel if approved for adoption. You may be required to travel to meet transport if approved for adoption. Meet Cami - Cami is a very sweet young pup who came to us as a pregnant mom, just about ready to pop. She's now had her pups, taken awesome care of them, had some time to herself with wonderful fosters to recoup, and is now looking for a home and family of her own. And she's a beautiful dog - now in a happy home and with great nutrition, she's fattening up and we can see the beautiful merle coloring to her coat. Cami is really wonderful with children, so she'll do well with a family. She's great with other dogs and is fine with cats. She's playful and happy, would make a great walking partner, running partner or lifetime family companion. As with most dogs who have been on their own for any portion of time at a young age, she can be anxious at times but for the most part she's outgoing, good with new people, and just an all-around great dog. Cami is young - only about a year, so she will need all the normal training a dog needs to make a great family member. She'll also need time to settle into her new family's routine and acclimate to her new surroundings. Cami will be spayed prior to arrival in the northeast, is up to date on all vetting and vaccines, and ready to find a family to love. We believe she'll make a great addition to just about any home.
