My name is Floyd! I have been in rescue for quite a while and we know that 2026 will be my year. You could say 2025 was the best year of my life. (But, finding my home in 2026 will certainly beat it!) Why was 2025 so special? I was rescued from an awful situation. I was finally given the medical care I needed; I was finally given food when I was hungry; I was finally given love and affection; and I finally learned to trust humans. In my former life, I didn't have any of that. I survived and I am living proof it can all turn around when you land with the right humans. I am around 5 years old, 57 lbs and a stunning Catahoula mix. In 2025, aside from so many fortunes I was provided, two huge things happened. I had a procedure to correct my vision, now I can see clearly! I also finally got my diabetes under control. I am thriving with my two insulin injections and day - it's not a lot and I take it like a champ; it's just part of my routine! I feel GREAT. I am seeking a fantastic permanent home with a fenced in yard and an owner who will take me on walks and be my true companion. I have not been around kids under 13 so an adult home or one with older kids is ideal. I also don't need a very busy home; I honestly don't need much - a couch, some toys, and most importantly my dedicated humans. I love to cuddle and I entertain myself quite nicely with my toys. Lannister needs a new home. I originally got Lannister with an ex boyfriend. Now that we have gone our separate ways, I do not have the capacity to give Lanny the energy and attention he deserves. He is cat-friendly, but he can be a bit much for them since he always wants to play—so he’d do best in a cat-free home or one with a very tolerant, confident cat. This guy is active, athletic, and always ready for an adventure. Walks, outings, and staying busy are his jam, so he’ll need an active family who can keep up with his enthusiasm for life. Atlas does have some separation anxiety, but it is very manageable and continues to improve with routine and structure. Meet BAM! Bam is now 2 years, 2 months old and 62 lbs. He was abandoned in McKenzie, TN at a rental property. HOW HORRID! He had much higher energy back in Feb 2023. But with an AMAZING, dedicated foster Mom...Bam has established a regular exercise routine and he has nicely smoothed out his energy now. Bam's 'thing' is his georgeous blue eyes. They look like jewels glistening at ya! I did the breed app check. And if shows mostly American Fox Hound with mix of Louisianna Catahoula Leopard. I'm going with it as his breed has had us puzzled. Bam is great with all the dogs in his foster home...of both genders, all ages, and various breeds. He is good on leash, rides well, crates & house trained.
