adoption donation : $599 weight 38lbs Age 6 months Charlie is a sweet and friendly girl who loves everyone she meets. She was found abandoned at a truckstop in a rural part of Mississippi and luckily rescued by Wags. At the rescue, she is having a blast running and playing with all the dogs, she just loves other pups! In the house, she is mellow and chill and loves to follow her Foster Mom around. Charlie has been spayed and vaccinated and is ready to travel to the northeast as soon as the weekend of August 9th. Charlie is housebroken at Wags but like any rescue pup will likely need some training as she adjusts to a new home. She has beautiful and appeared to be a Catahola Leopard dog, very common in Mississippi and known to be very smart and loving dogs. Charlie is just the best, she will make a wonderful member of the family. Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter. Most of our dogs are in Mississippi and come up by Transport, dogs are listed along the Transport route or in an area where we may have volunteers who can help transport the dogs. We do have some of our dogs in foster homes in the northeast, we always need foster homes! She underwent jaw surgery, and as a result, her tongue now hangs out permanently. But Star doesn’t let her past define her. She is pure resilience wrapped in sweetness. Star is incredibly affectionate and so happy-natured. She loves to run, explore, and play, but she also knows how to wind down and melt into you for snuggles - the perfect balance of fun and companionship. She does wonderfully with kids and gets along beautifully with other dogs, but would do best in a feline-free home as her instints may lead her to chase. Story

I adopted Rain from a shelter about two years ago when she wasn’t quite 1 year old. Since then, Rain has been a joy. She is full of life and energy and needs and enjoys daily walks/exercise time. I still have some issues walking her at times when she gets really excited. She loves going to the park and running free. Rain is highly intelligent and listens and obeys commands such as sit, stay and come. Rain is housebroken and responds to the word “potty” when she needs to go to the bathroom. (Or she will let you know she has to go). She has a crate that I’ve barely had to use because she is very well behaved and can be left for hours without messing the house up. She is very affectionate, loving and loyal. She loves to play with her toys and she enjoys treats. She will bring you her toy to try to take from her and she loves to play fetch. All in all Rain is a joy and sadly I can no longer keep her and I pray she finds a home filled with love and joy because that’s what she gives.
