Sofia is a playful puppy but also loves to cuddle. She has no idea what personal space is and just wants to be near a warm body. LOL! She will bark at noises but is not aggressive. She sits on command and is smart. Sofia will destroy anything she can pull into her crate, so for that reason, there is only a mattress inside a huge crate where she sleeps at night, if she is being left alone for short periods, a smaller crate is best. She loves toys and anything that breathes. LOL!

Ellie is a wonderful, beautiful and very smart dog. She gets along with other dogs very well, but can be a handful around smaller dogs. She does not know here own size, but dogs her size are just fine. She does not have a bad bone in her body. She loves chewing on her kong, earning her treats. She is leash trained and knows several hand signals. We are still working with her on checking in regularly. She has not been around kids, but cannot imagine that will be an issue with her temperament. Ellie is deaf and has received professional training from On the Ball K9 Training in Denton, TX. She will stay on your side but can get distracted. She will sit and stay when told and is pretty content on her "place" as long as she has some entertainment. She is crate trained and sleeps in a crate. Her favorite activity is going on long walks, but even more, she will play fetch with you until she absolutely wears herself out. And then, once you think she has had enough, she is ready for some more. She loves fetching tennis balls and ropes throws...and will bring them back to you almost all of the time, unless she gets distracted. She will then sit when you tell her and release the toy for another round. Ellie was born mid-2015 and weighs approx 90 pounds. ##628903##

What to say about Charlie. He’s the goodest boy! He really is wonderful,. He loves running around outside, but loves being in your business more. He was found on a ranch road in Hondo, Tx. The second the truck door opened, he leapt in, flopped down, went boneless, and refused to be put out. I have been caring form him for 4 months and I’ve learned a thing or two. He needs either, a big back yard to run his little rambunctious heart out, or an active person to take him running, hiking, fishing, general mayhem making, or better yet, all of the above. Charlie really likes being the center of attention. He is willing to share, but he wants you to know he prefers to be the one in your lap. He is too smart for his own good. He has, on a number of occasions, outwitted the humans with his criminal’s mind. Charlie is crate trained. He likes to eat in there and spend quiet time in there. He sleeps in his crate, and absolutely must be crated when you leave the house. If you don’t, it will not be the same home as when you left. Definitely don’t turn your back on him while cooking in the kitchen, he has been known to steal food from the counter. He’s not subtle about it so he’s easy to stop. Charlie does well with other dogs, and doesn’t seem bothered by cats. He was in a house with 3 dogs, and 1 cat. He has been neutered, and received all of his vaccinations from the vet. He is the perfect specimen. According to the vet, he is around 2 years old and is a Catahoula Leopard with maybe a little pit. He is about 30 lbs, but we are working on him gaining some weight. He is a great dog, very playful and protective. Curious. Sweet demeanor. No problems at all. He is neutered, current on shots, crate trained, house trained and walks well on a leash. He likes to jump up playfully, and has knocked me down a few times. I've had 3 cervical spine surgeries, 2 being last year. I didn't realize his strength when I got him. Unfortunately, I am unable to keep him. My spinal condition will continue to worsen over time. Being knocked down is only going to make the matter worse. I have his crate, bed, toys and an unopened 44lb bag of food to bring with him. He loves riding in car, playing fetch, tug of war and frisbee. Does well with other dogs. Please help me find him a good, safe home.

After spending 173 days waiting as of 05/14/26, he's now one of our Diamond Dogs, and his adoption fee has been reduced to just $75- but what he really wants is a family to call his own. This handsome boy has the looks that turn heads and a personality that keeps life fun. Vincent is still very much a puppy at heart- full of energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm.
